Unpopular opinion: i am not a fan of emily..... I do not hate her but i never cared for her
I'm actially kinda surprised BMP even asked Emily to be on the show the time they brought her on. I feel like from her season they would've asked Ashley and Erika before her out of the girls.
Here is my theory of why they never asked Erika ***uming she was interested. Why would production ask someone who couldn't handle the Real World (which is only emotionally stressful) to be on a Challenge (which is emotionally, physically, mentally, psychologically stressful)? Granted, I realize the Real World is 4-5 months and the Challenge is only 6 weeks, still the Challenge is much more stressful. That is what I like about production, they don't bother asking quitters back on challeges. If you quit then you should be banned in my opinion. Unless it is a legit reason like Tyrie on The Gauntlet III or Naomi on Rivals II. Take a look at the recent quitters from the Challenge, have you seen any of them since?
Coral? Shauvon? Joi? Erika? Eric? Trishelle?
I think the only people that have quit that were on a challenge after they quit are Beth (The Gauntlet 2) and Abram (The Island). However, I feel like Abram's reason for quitting The Island was legit, if it was in fact because of work.
??? they've been trying to get Coral back for the longest...she is the one who's been declining. If I recall it was said numerous times that they were willing to pay her as much (if not more) than what CT/Johnny were getting paid to make her return on Free Agents. She declined because she was out of shape after just having a baby. She's been asked for every challenge since Gauntlet 3, at least going from what i've heard from here & other forums.
Joi was an alternate on Free Agents & Trishelle has been declining. Shauvon moved on & who knows or cares with Eric.
I would have loved her on Free Agents...they could have not cast Emilee..she was basically useless that season imo, and I would have preferred to see Coral. I wonder if they got Coral if they would have brought back one or two other random alum so she wouldn't be alone. Was she really asked back for every season since Gauntlet 3? It would have been bad *** to have a New York team on Seasons..even if it was Hyrbid of the original New York and B2NY.
The mission on Cutthroat where the competitor had to knock each other out with shields was dope! I wish future challenges will involves with that
Loved that mission. Derrick proved yet again he is a beast.
too bad it was all for show. it he wouldve been a "beast" like that in the beginning of the battle when he actually had luke and abram in the game they maybe they couldve won

All for show? Yeah right.
Derrick, Abram, and Luke were not beating Brad, Tyler, and Dunbar. Derrick and Abram are better athletes than Brad and Dunbar but Luke and Derrick were small and that hindered them.
Three teammates working together and using their size advantage are going to be the favorites over a trio made up of two teammates and one add-on.
Derrick knew if he lost, he was going into the Gulag. There was no way he was taking down all three men from the red team, it was damn near impossible. I still wish Sarah and Laurel would've thrown that mission to Jenn and Emily. Had it been Derrick vs. Brad in the final heat, I think Derrick would've kicked Brad's *** and made the final.
it was for show because he was going to lose regardless of how hard he went at it so he might as well save energy for the gulag. i dont hate him for what he did because it gave us spectators someting to ooo and awwwee about but from his POV it was a dumb move with no real benefit except a tingly feeling he gets as fans shower praise at him
the only chance he had in that game was going, as people call it, "beast" in the BEGINNING when abram and luke were still around. still a slim chance becase of your supposition that they were outsized and at a heavy disadvantage regardless but still a way bigger chance then doing it at the end when you dont even have a single teammate left
do it at the beginning when theres 25% chance of winning and it may actually count and turn the tides or dont do it at all when youre at the end with 0% chance of winning
and i agree that derrick wouldve kicked brad's ***. brad is highly overrated and totally unremarkable as a competitor

Ah ok, now I understand what you meant by "for show". Sorry about that.
I do agree, it was a hopeless battle, but Derrick has never been one to not show his best. It would've been the greatest moment in challenge history if he beat those three.
It just sucked that the third guy was Luke, he really held them back. If it was Derrick, Abram, and Bananas or Ty or even Easy, if would've been much better. Still don't know how a scrub like Luke made the finals that challenge. Kid had some luck on his side, and a BS elimination ha.
And thank you so much for agreeing to Brad being overrated. He's an average competitor who has had his fair share of luck. I will give him his elimination against Big Easy on the Duel, but I'll never excuse the CT Duel.
He was smart against Landon on the Duel 2, not taking that away from him, but Landon would've wrecked him in everything else.
And seeing Brad on Cut Throat was just annoying. Great, you're married and your wife is your teammate, you aren't the King and you're lucky you had a lapdog in Dunbar and you're lucky Tyler didn't flip on you sooner.

not trying to diasgree but Luke was a decent, solid competitor at the Challenges, more so than anyone on the grey Team outside of Abram, Laurel, and perhaps Vinny.
totally agree on the Bolded. this may sound petty but i'll never let up on how bad that team mistreated Brandon. they were all despicable for that.

cutthroat was an amazing challenge but the way it unfolded was just disgusting and i still cringe at the subhuman animals you call the winners of the red team and how desperate and thirsty they were to get their victory
what happened to the blue team was really shitty and they really did have some bad luck with not only the theresa/johnny situation which doesnt even need to be reiterated by how completely rigged that was, but by always performing well in the challenges without reaping any real benefits outside of their two wins that granted them immunity. it wouldve been cool if the second place team, which is where blue consistently scored, could have some added advantage of maybe picking the match ups, elimination round or something over the epic failure team of the day(which usually happened to be red). historically scoring well even if its not #1 with the added benefit of immunity was still beneficial because you could use that as political leverage to argue your positioning and worthiness of staying especially on the BOTsexes where they kept track of each position with score charts. here in cutthroat it was a very all or nothing approach where 2nd place was as sucky as being last. blue team on the night of theresa/bananas elimination round were 2nd place in the mission that day....they shouldv'e chose the order
one redeeming thing about cutthroat however was the fact that brad was finally exposed after years of playing subterfuge sketchy tactics. here he was no longer able to cower behind JEK or anyone else that would usually be the biggest scape goats and it was nice to see people finally see him for what he truly was...a parasite and opportunist that was more than willing to exploit people at any cost without even the slightest tint of hesitation towards fairness, just to get him that win
I still get angry about how Brad and Tori treated Camila when she voted for Brad. I just didn't understand their logic whatsoever. It was clearly a throaway vote on Camila's end since she didn't know who between Tyler and Dunbar was the "right" choice as far as her team was concerned so I have no clue what the big freakin deal was. I think I remember Tori saying "she disgusts me". Soooo extra like come the hell on
The way they did Brandon was shitty but I didn't feel bad for Camilla. She was a waste of a spot IMO so her being treated like crap was justified.
How was she a waste of a spot, though? Like an actual reason not just: "She wasn't a real cast member". She was and is a good competitor and would have been nothing but an asset to the team.
Also, even if you didn't personally like her, that still doesn't justify people being nasty to her with no reason and no real justification.

She herself brought nothing to the show. The only reason she was even relevant was because her team treated her like crap.
And it wasn't for no reason either I read that Camilla wad a huge ***** to her team so it's not like she was innocent. She is a non-cast member so I don't know where she gets off being an *** to people.

Luke wasn't good, he got lucky that gray won so many missions. If Luke was on any other team he'd be gone early. Where did you get Vinny being one of the best?
Had the whole Red Team drama never happened on Cutthroat, Camila would've been as useless as the AYTO were on this past challenge. Before that happened, she kept trying to insert herself into things & start drama out of nowhere (the Ty situation). She is VERY lucky that her team kept sending her in because it gave her an actual storyline (which translates into getting asked back for more challenges).

What Ty situation? You mean when his sweatpants were found under her bed and Theresa randomly accused her of being a klepto? I never thought Camila had any role in orchestrating that and I didn't see her trying to start drama out of nowhere. She was cast on Rivals 1 due to her thing with Theresa (which was essentially Theresa attacking her for no reason, not her "trying to insert herself into things & start drama out of nowhere"). Then she was cast on Exes 1 because of her crush on Bananas, which I don't understand how that could be interpreted as "starting drama" because it seemed she was genuinally infatuated with him and even tried to squash any potential drama by reassuring her team that the relationship wouldn't affect the game. I see no evidence of her trying to start shit on Cutthroat anywhere.

I think he is referring to Ty supposedly kicking Camila. It was on a Cutthroat daily I believe.

The Dailies were clips of uncensored Real World and The Challenge footage. They got rid of them for some stupid reason which they shouldn't have because they were great.
i remember that dailie lol Camila was so pissed. but i heard that it really did happen, but Bananas and Derrick defended Ty cuz they didn't want him kicked out.

I think the perfect match would have been Abram and Derrick in that matchup.
i would love to see The Island 2, i wonder how it would turn out with this new age of players.
I'd be down for that but ONLY if the format gets a complete overhaul. The first Island was a mess in terms of rules/formats.
I hate voting off for eliminations and I thought it was stupid how they can pick their own boat
