Why would you not be on the train?

To me the cold water, dirty pool, bugs, bad food, and all the other shit that comes with The Challenge seems fun. I don't know I would it do. When I was the watching the Shit Show although things seemed gross they were still having so much fun. And this is what happens when you go to foreign countries and you aren't Oprah or George Clooney you get shitty conditions especially when staying in a villa rather than a 5 star hotel.

I actually agree, some people are also into living like a local, I know someone who went to the Amazon and choose to live in a hut with bats in the showers over a hotel because she wanted the full experience.
They were in Panama which is a third world country, they were probably living like most people there live.
They counties they chose also greatly affects
it, llike if they went to Italy or Japan it probably wouldn't be as miserable as Thailand or Panama.
I'm not sure why cutthroat had such bad conditions when they were in a major city.

Why would you not be on the train?

I don't know. I just never could see it on myself *****!

They're living in a mansion...that alone separates them from most locals. I feel like they do it to stir up drama...they could at least give the people running water, cold or not.

And why is everybody hating on long hair **** #longhairdontcare

I think its one of those things that doesn't come across TV well. Probably small in person.

Yep. It's been said that that's the exact reason they do it. Katie stated this in her Cutthroat interview.

If you ask me it's the wrong way to go about it. If they want drama then maybe they should stop recycling the same cast and bring in different people(and by different people I mean people from RW/RR/FM not AYTO or any other show that has nothing to do with this franchise). Casting is key in any reality show. I mean in the old days they had better conditions and they had drama and entertainment in spades. Why? because casting as a whole was better back then. As much as I like the current crop(well some of them not all) they can't compare with the people that made the golden era what it was. They were much better characters back then and people who were willing to play the game how they wanted. There's not a whole lot of that now. It's just alot of followers who want to be liked and not rock the boat. That needs to change, and when that does they won't need the cast to live in shit in filth in order to produce good TV.

All of this.

Will never understand how the team who didn't win ends up at #1 on a "Power Rankings" at the end of a season.

Because the best person doesn't always win.  Even the best lose sometimes.

Landon for example was far better than Evan and really everyone else in The Duel 2--him losing to Brad doesn't alter it

This is like thinking the best team always wins the title.  Often they don't...that doesn't mean the winner didn't earn it--the best simply doesn't always win

yep the 2013 NBA Finals was a PERFECT example of that.
