Seasons 2 had bad ratings moreso because the new people they chose were terrible, not because they were new..
. It was just written off from jump. No Bananas, CT, Paula, Kenny, Evan, etc. and just a whole bunch of rookies despite who they were was the issue to most viewers. Most people were'nt familiar with the new people to hate on them other than the fact that they're new.
New people are needed and one of the biggest mistakes was how they ignored NOLA2 IMO but you need a balance. The new people on Seasons were annoying as **** Frank & Zach were unbearable especially with how they treated Sam. St Thomas was useless (Marie was very disappointing to me), NOLA was pathetic. etc.
They should have inlcuded SD (Randy, Brad, Cameran & Robin) and Las Vegas (Alton, Frank, Arissa & Tris****e) as they originally planned which would have been far better along with a RR team. You have that plus Austin along with Cancun, Vegas2, NOLA2 & Diego2 you have much better chance of getting solid ratings. St Thomas should have been held off at that point because it was too many brand new seasons (3 of them essentially) to introduce.

I think Seasons 2 had unlikable castmembers that was sadly the strongest people there. I don't think it was time for a BOTS. They should've waited IMO. IMO they should've replaced San Diego (boring demales and unlikable guys) and cast like a Champion team.

For example, if the next cast has 32 people (just using the number of people on Seasons) I would want/expect to see 6-8 people from ExPlosion/Skeletons that haven't done a season already...after that you're going to have 12-16 regulars/core people (for example-Bananas, CT, Wes, Jordan, Zach, Leroy, Reilly, Dustin, Cara Maria, Camila, Emily, Nany, Jonna, Theresa & Jemmye--clearly some state they're done but just using names)...that's 24 people which leaves 8-10 spots for a mix of people...that's where you add people from other seasons to fill the roster including new & old...like Mark, Darrell, Danny, Marlon, Robb, Trey, Scott, Ryan C, Rachel, Melinda, Mallory, Sahar, Cooke, McKenzie, Ashlee, Marie, etc.
