People defending Jay and saying he tried makes no sense to me.
It's a matter of people overreacting to the whole thing. They act as if Jay had no intention of doing any part of the final, wherein it's clear that the eating thing was the only part of that he physically couldn't do. As someone who considers himself having a phobia of eating things that I don't definitively know that I'll like (aka making me INCREDIBLY picky when it comes to food, probably worse than Jenna) I can understand why he couldn't chug that thing down.
Besides the fact that plenty of people online can be all tough and say "I would have drank it easily" like really? They say that now but the second that they get near something like that, they'd be tourtering themselves too.
The difference is we aren't on the show, we don't go on and say how we aren't layups and act like we are hot shit then go quit.
Considering how he kisses peoples *****, I wouldn't be shocked if we see him again. He's probably kissing up to the producers as we speak. He just comes off as a total phony. In interviews he tries to act like this alpha dog, but when he's on TV there's none of that. He's quiet. I remember after EX-Plosion he compared his challenge athletic ability to CT, Bananas and Kenny. The sad part is that he was serious.

Thank you. That's my whole Issue with it. People act like it's some mortal sin that he quit and that he should be punished to the depths of ****. He tried and couldn't do it. It is what it is. Nothing to get pissy over.
Jenna's boyfriend is on twitter saying that Jenna lied on the reunion. I kind of got the sense she was when she was trying to make it seem like her and her boyfriend were in an open relationship. I think she was just trying to look good. Her ex seems like a doofus though. She has the worst taste in men.

Jenna doesn't seem like she is the type to be in an open relationship in the first place so I didn't believe her when she brought that up anyway. Its so hilarious how she wanted to find someone who is the complete opposite of Jay but in the end, Zach is even worse.

Never said it was a mortal sin I just said I don't understand how people can defend him and say he tried when he didn't. He took a couple sips and almost threw up so he quit. Meanwhile everyone else was throwing up chunks the whole time. I'm a picky eater but in a situation like that I'd drink/eat anything really. Maybe it just depends on ones mental toughness which it doesn't seem like he has because that's all that is mental.

Well I mean he attempted to drink it. like you said he took a few sips. That to me is trying. People were acting like he just looked at it and said I Quit and that's not the case.
But really what I meant is he attempted the final challenge period. He tried to get to the end and he quit. It's not that big of a deal.
And I said this in another thread but I felt like TJ berating them was not needed. Just remove them from the final and be done with it. You don't need to give your 2 cents to a team that already feels like shit(Well at least Jay did, Jenna didn't give a shit).

I think its BS that he tried I just don't think he was mentally strong enough for it. I just wish he would have quit in better circumstances because he wasn't doing bad at all. Big Easy, Sarah, Abe left in a strecther while Mike/Leroy quit on day 2 after being exhuasted. Jay quit on the second checkpoint of the first day because he couldn't drink something thats sad.

Well that's fine I guess we'll agree to disagree then. But I will agree in saying that I do wish he quit in better circumstances too. Like if they got to the moutain or maybe one of the cows attacked them then it would be a bit more understandable.

First, loving the new avatar Debut!!
Second, as I stated before, I don't think he would've quit so easily if he had received ANY support from his partner. However, she *****ed and complained and wanted to quit the entire way there while putting in very little effort. It's like you get to the point where you say, I can drink this, make myself sick and then have her quit or I can save myself the misery and just quit now. People are giving Jenna far too much of a pass here.
I'm also glad Jay called her out for blatantly cheating on her boyfriend from back home. Love how she mentioned she had a boyfriend and had moved on in her interview with Jay in the like 'ex-tra baggage' thing but was never mentioned again. Whatta dummy

While the message is correct.... the messanger could be better. Those in glass houses? Jay is a serial adulterer (sp?) really pipe down there buddy

Right. Jay may have cheated in the past but if Jenna is doing it now, she can't say she is much better now, either.
I seriously was in complete disbelief that people like Jenna even existed. Like, she is a legit bimbo.
I must say i think that it's refreshing to see someone just not give a shit on these shows. Jenna was dumb but she was also seemed like she didn't care about the competition most of the time and I liked that. People take this game so seriously like it's life or death and to see someone like Jenna who is so whatever about it all was a fresh sight to see.

Thanks! And I do think Jenna could've been more supportive. It really seemed like she just didn't give a shit(which was refreshing to see honestly).

Meh id rather have people who care because the passion shines through in drama and such.. like Nia or Johnny, Zach etc ... more entertaining.... Jenna was just a pretty sight for the viewers this season.
I did think it was rather dumb that Zuri was like "Jenna you were knocking those drinks back no problem!" and Jenna agreed with her. She took like 2 sips herself and then waited on him to make a decision.
its so funny how jenna said she wanted to win the money because it would enable her a chance to actually move out
i dont get it. is it not possible to move out and pay your own rent unless you win 125K?
i guess that face of hers isnt exactly making or worth as money as she might have us believe
Well she is living in New York. 15K down to 13K and change after taxes isn't even a year's worth of rent. She also said she wanted to buy a house if she won the big prize. She must plan to move FAR away from the city for that to afford her a house.

Theres been plenty of people like that on these shows but they usually don't make it that far for obvious reasons. Still Id rather have someone who really wants to compete in a final or actually try to finish one because I enjoy the competitive aspect. Not saying she would of quit but she seemed ready to be done with it really early on. Who knows how she would of handled the rest.
I don't know how Jay's horribly embarassing performance makes jenna all the sudden a better competitor. that's the way it seems people are interpreting it as. She was not going to complete this final. Her/Jay were taking the max amount of time on every checkpoint, they probably would have been dq'ed before the campsite for taking too long and it would have been too dark for them to compete. Jenna was ready to quit walking on flat ground because she got "sweaty" ..so about that last mountain, do you think she was climbing it?
I went from disliking Jay immensely when he was claiming to be a mix of ct/johnny/kenny to feeling bad for him as jenna took every shot at him possible all season when he was being really supportive of jenna and was never negative to her during missions. She was calling him a troll and tiny and all that stuff when in reality she looks like a huge hypocrite on her reasoning for it. I mean she is not very bright so it's fine, i just am surprised the majoirty of fans are not seeing right through her.
Much like i saw right through Zach's fake apology to Jonna that was riddled with backhanded compliments and insults. Nany "making' him apologize if he doesnt mean any of it is pointless to me, but her heart was in the right place.'
All in all, jay was about what i thought he'd be. I originally was hoping ct would smash him in an elimination, but i think he is as humbled as possible from what happened in reality. I mean CT said on exes final people (not him he said he drank it) were hardly even drinking the sheeps blood but were spitting it all out fake throwing up, that's all Jay had to do was fake it and spit it out. He coudln't even do that.
Yeah,Jay is pathetic worse than Big Easy, hope we don't see this Quitter again.
Can't stand Jay's punk ***

Pfft! Jenna wanted to be taking Instagram pictures. Did she ever even once shows real interest in being there? She was like blonde wallpaper.
Can you blame her? Beautiful locations and not even a chance to take some awesome pictures and a few obligatory selfies?
