The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 - Lovers In The Dark

I am not a Theresa fan but she impressed the hell out of me on this challenge.Even in the elimination she gave it her all, unlike her partner.

Nah. Leroy would have steamrolled Wes even if Wes got the full hallway to charge and Leroy was standing still.

Leroy's the biggest strongest guy by far when CT's not in the picture

Wes was annoying me falling on the ground and shit. Guess he didn't want Leroy to drag him to the bell ala Big Easy on Battle of the Seasons...

Wes tried the only strategy he thought he had a chance of beating Leroy with.  This was to trip Leroy up or knock him off his feet  by staying low.  He wasn't lying on the ground in a ball with his thumb in his mouth.  He wasn't pertrified, he was desperate for a method to beat a dude much larger than him.  It's not that difficult to understand if you have even half a brain.

Except that the problem with his strategy was that even if he managed to trip Leroy up he still had to get up and gather himself to run and get to the bell before Leroy got to the other one. Pretty hard to do when he dropped well before the halfway point...even worse on the second attempt because he went feet first and would've taken even longer to get up. He was better off crouching down, even going to his knees, trying to get his shoulder behind Leroy, hook him and pull him by the legs. Theresa managed to do something similar to that in the second round and that's how she put a better fight that time. Dropping completely to the ground so close to his end of the hall was dumb. Going low was ABSOLUTELY the right move for him but his execution was **** poor. The reason that it almost worked for him against Easy is because he was fast enough to get further into the hall off the bat, and Eric is slow as shit so he had the necessary time to recover.

On an unrelated note I just noticed that Jay has a ******* neon yellow tongue ring. I've felt bad for Jay this whole season...especially now when the only camera time he gets is pretty much all the other teams talking about how much he sucks...but that's embarassing.

Well the fact of the matter is there was no Way Wes was winning that no matter what he did. It was going to come down to Nia/Fail and Nia came out on top.

Speaking of Nia she's a bit hypocritical. She doesn't like that Jay/Jenna are being kept there as lay ups and only the strong teams should be at the end but when she and Leroy were power couple they didn't send those two in because they were lay-ups and a stronger team was the better choice. She can't get mad at another team that does the same thing she did. And I don't even get why she was all pissy that she was sent in...She wanted competition and she wanted to fight the stronger teams well she got it. What's the problem?

I don't get this "nice girl' thing.  Sarah's there to compete and doesn't tolerate those that aren't.  I'm cool with that.

Yep.

Another comment that I find confusing is Sarah's "I've been screwed over in the past". I do agree with it...and I'm not trying to say her move was wrong because it was definitely the right play to make...but it's really just based on the stupidity of her partners and production decisions. I can't think of a single time she's ever been stabbed in the back or screwed over by someone in terms of being voted in.

Ruins - Got the typical rookie treatment of being called out a few times, but made the final and no screwing

Fresh Meat 2 - Picked the alliance that didn't have power at the beginning and paid for it, no screwing

Cutthroat - Made the final, no eliminations, no screwing

Rivals - No eliminations til she came in last, got the "weakest team" given to them and just lost, no screwing

Exes - Screwed by her partner's stupidity

Seasons - Knew the score from day 1 about the Vets vs Rookies, no screwing

Rivals 2 - Again screwed by her partners stupidity

Again, I'm not trying to say anything about Sarah except that I disagree with the narrative that she's been lied to and backstabbed in the past when most people have played the game pretty straight up with her and she's only been significantly messed up by getting dumb teammates.

The problem is she doesn't actually want the stronger team. That's just the bullshit reason she's been giving to justify throwing tantrums because she's mad they voted for her. Nia likes talking a big game, but she's proving she doesn't feel confident enough that she and Leroy can beat Nany/Leroy. If she did she wouldn't be flipping out that she got exactly what she said she wanted, the harder team.

Sarah was on The Challengers on The Ruins, paired with Katelynn & Trashquit on Rivals, stuck with Devyn on Season and paired with Vinny on Exes.  She had Shauvon, Casey & Katelynn as teammates/partners--arguably the worst 3 of all-time--no one else has to say that.  She was twice removed from the game due to the actions of others.  No one has been screwed over more than Sarah...no one.

She didn't say he was back lied to or backstabbed--just screwed which is factual

Damn, reading all those names and reminiscing, Sarah really has been getting screwed lol. She ends up with like the shittiest people on these shows lmao.

"Trashquit" hahahah

I wish hall brawl was done like it was on  BOTS2. I so think Theresa could have beaten Nia, like 100%

I don't think Ms. Fail was winning that no matter how it was set up.

Reading that post made me wonder...If Theresa is "Ms. Fail" who is "Mr. Fail"?

Lol. Idk, I think Nia's pretty overrated. In the second round, Nia had a head start and theresa almost got her. But she won fair and square so eh. I'd still place my bets on theresa

Bananas and Nany, where the hell do I begin? You don't "deserve" to be here, you lost an elimination round convincingly, and a stupid twist allowed you to return. Laughing when Wes got hurt is inexcusable...I understand that you don't like the guy, but have a little sympathy. And stop with your "karma's a *****" nonsense, you clearly don't understand the meaning of the word. I'm not enjoying Nany's attitude, clearly Bananas has rubbed off too much on her.

So Bananas conspires with Jordan to throw in Leroy and Nia, and uses the convenient "it's a game" excuse. Yeah, it's all a game Johnny, until your dumb *** gets voted in, then all of a sudden people are "heartless" and "callous". Cut the shit dude. That was the logical move, Johnny has won five challenges and participated in seven finals. It makes sense to get rid of the person with the most experience. I'm sick of Johnny expecting everyone to kiss his ***. I'm by no means a fan of Sarah's, but sending him in was a no-brainer.

Overall I'm getting really tired of the lack of common sense used by the competitors when it comes to elimination voting. People are more concerned with not rocking the boat than they are with getting rid of their biggest threats. It's aggravating as hell to watch sometimes. Do these idiots know that they're allowed to think for themselves in this game?

Oh yeah She really gave it to Nia and she did almost get a round on her but I still see Nia winning when it's all said and done.

I agree she's been screwed, but Sarah's made the comment on the show a few times. In that little "Yay Bananas is gone!" segment played during one of the aftershows someone commented that he's screwed Sarah over in the past, which isn't true, and then at the end of this one she said that she's learned from the best and the best playing their game has resulted in her not winning, which also isn't true. She's never been the victim of the shady underhanded game (MAYBE on the Ruins, but it's a stretch). I'm glad for her sake that she's playing it now, and I've wanted her to win for a long time, I just disagree with the version of the story that she's telling. She's been screwed by getting saddled with losers, nothing else.

Sarah has played THEIR game which has resulted in HER not winning.  That was her decision but it was an accurate statement,  It isn't a stretch at all using The Ruins--see Casey's deal.  Let's be real--Bananas doesn't care about anyone other than himself in these game--and there's nothing wrong with that.  If he wouldn't have thrown in Sarah/Jordan if the situation was reversed then he's an awful strategist.

I'm not even a Bananas hater but there's no denying the exile was BS. It was a cool idea on paper, but the problem was every single exile challenge was stupid and "winning" exile wasn't really that hard earned. The challenges should have been tough physical stuff where you really have to earn your spot back in. Would Bananas and Nany still have won if that was the case? Probably, but at least it would've felt earned.

Exile was a great idea with horrible execution.

And Sarah absolutely made the smart move, good for her.

Nia was so salty on twitter last night! I don't know how to post screen shots, but she said that Sarah's man was a multi-milionaire so she didn't need the money, and then called her a *****.

She's crazy, even though she tries to make it look like she's just being real.  She's alot like Nany,  just flat crazy.

I just hate that attitude!

Just because Sarah's fiance has money doesn't mean that Sarah should stop having ambition! I hate that antiquated 'kept woman' shit. Maybe Nia needs a man to take care of her, but clearly Sarah doesn't.

So that challenge with Adam in exile wasn't a physical challenge? And it's not like he beat  Jay/John.J,he beat Adam who's a big dude.

Coming from the woman who writes a book on how to be a gold digger, she's one to talk.

This is why this wil be my last season if the rumors about the next one are true. These newer generations & this ******* who won't move on with his life have made this show quite frustrating to watch...

Agree with all of this. EPSECIALLY the last paragraph. The way these people play this game really makes this show hard to watch sometimes. Noone really thinks for themselves or even go after the biggest threat. They're all so concerned with not making waves and not ******* off the vets and on top of that they let their personal relationshps dictate their gameplay. Until these people start fighting for what they want and start making moves like Sarah did this episode then they'll never win this show and Backpack will just keep on winning.

This episode was great! Aside from Wes going home. The mission was amazing and Sarah throwing in bananas & Nany was great.
I can't wait to see them get destroyed in x battle

I was wondering since it appears you've watched BOTE2; would u prefer to have Nia or on your team on the show?

neither

is it that you don't think they're good athletes or they would hard to work with on a team?

theresa is weak mentally and nia quits all the time
