It's so awesome when JL8I790 eloquently crushes the Banana haters on here, been lurking for a few years and you're outstanding posts always bring a smile too my face, everything you say is bang on.
I agree! I think the only comment I've disagreed with as far as Bananas goes, with JL is chalking up his overall behavior to boy-ish fun. He almost always presents his points very well. One of the most well-spoken members imo.
I see no reason why she shouldn't take joy in this or be spiteful, these were some of the people who were cheering for her to lose and couldn't contain themselves with excitement when Nany was stuck and also getting frustrated and starting to tear up. I don't see how it can infered that Nany thinks she's the only who can hook up, cheer, etc. These just seem like observations people are forming on their own.
I agree. People forget the other side of the story. If someone was gloating on the sidelines when I was distressed in a competition I'd be very happy to see the tables turned.
We got the same thing for the guys. There was "Bananas is being so mean to Wes and cocky that he's back", when Wes was screaming "LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE'S GOING HOME!" the whole time after they got eliminated. I've never seen Bananas do that to someone. When he beat CT on Rivals or Jordan on Free Agents, both of whom he wanted out, he shook their hands and said good job. Was he happy about the win? Yeah...but he didn't rub it in their faces right after he beat them. When Leroy sent Wes home on Exes I didn't see him crowing on the sideline. If and when Wes gets beaten tonight I hope Bananas laughs his *** off (unless Wes is the person that appears to be injured in the preview...serious injuries shouldn't be laughed at).
OMG. You forgot how Bananas acted on twitter?
Not at all. And I don't see anything wrong with it. And I'd have no problem if Wes did that. It's months after the fact. It's totally different. There's something to be said for having a little sportsmanship in the moment.
And having sportsmanship after the game is done which Bananas did not have at all.
Haha ok...whatever you say. All I know is that the last time I saw Bananas eliminated (despite hearing about how priceless it would be) he was comforting his partner and telling her what a good job she did despite the fact that he couldn't do anything and the loss was squarely her fault. Last time I saw Wes eliminated he was ranting about the guy who beat him being a "fat loser" who didn't deserve to be there.
One of those two people needs a lesson in sportsmanship. Hint: Not Johnny Bananas.
The last time Bananas was eliminated, he wrote on twitter how the challenge is nothing without him. When he won on Rivals1 he mocked CT about being able to give him wage to finally getting new clothes. On BOTS2, when he was not cast, he wrote an entire essay to MTV on how he should be on every season and then he basically bashed the entire cast and constantly mendtioned the poor ratings the season had and how this season is not a true challenge season. On Free Agents, he mocked Jordan multple times that he is not worthy of getting this spotlight or with his bubblehead and how he got more airtime than most of the cast.
That is also part of a sportsmanship. Showing respect when the game is done and they watch the episodes back to the states. In the end, both need lessons in sportsmanship.

To be quite honest, and we can agree to disagree obviously, but I think those are two very different sorts of things (aside from the complaints to BMP about not being on Seasons...but on that note first it was a letter, now an essay, will we be at a novel next? a tome? a treatise?), just like how, as much as they annoy me, Wes's interview comments are the same sort of thing. Those comments are made for the fans. To get people riled, excited, etc. Throwing shots on twitter, or in interviews, or whatever is probably even encouraged by production. I think it says a lot more about a person when he is able to show some cl*** as an athlete in the heat of the moment or immediately after winning/losing when the cameras are secondary to the competition, than someone who can't. Making remarks that are probably rehearsed and engineered to accomplish a certain reaction says a lot less to me about sportsmanship. Plus...most if not all of the cast does it. Not everyone screams in glee when someone goes home when they're all standing right there and well aware that the person lost.
I agree! His posts are amazing. #TeamBananas
