The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 - Lovers In The Dark

The first night time challenge brings the teams to new heights; a power couple tears apart their alliance

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II | Official Sneak Peek (Episode 10) | MTV

I all of a sudden feel really sad for Wes. It didn't hit until I watched the sneak peek, but he really built up a great thing just to have it all come crashing down. Did he get screwed? It's hard to say but I've always loved Wes and I do feel bad for him. (Theresa is a different story .... girl drives me crazy).

If Wes was a little more humble, then maybe I could muster a glimmer of sorrow for him.  He's not though, so I can't lol....

I agree with you on that Sad Not a fan of Theresa but am really feeling bad for Wes. Even in the thumbnail above, he looks sad LOL

TBH he really got screwed over. If only the final would've been the best 3 teams (jordan/sarah, Banany, and Wes/Theresa) and I honestly think Wes/Theresa would've won.

Yes I agree.

Dream scenario:

1. Before the Dome: Nia and Theresa become scissor sisters to blow off some steam from the Nany debacle.

2. Under During the Dome: Wes and Leroy kill each other.

3. After the Dome: Nia and Theresa become partners and kick *** all the way to the final.

Y***sss. Agreed.

I feel bad for Wes too. 10&2? Not at all.

"I'm a winner & I don't need this game to prove it!!!" *cries*

Ms. Fail brought the laughs last episode so hopefully she does it on this one.

My guess is that Jordan and Sarah win and send in Johnny and Nanny. I want this to happen, the Bananas vs Jordan rivalry ended too soon. I need them to become enemies again. Rivals 3?

I agree so much lol Wes will always be one of my favorites. Can't say the same about Ms. Fail. She does seem to be a little more confident though in the sneak peek. I think she'll surprise some people in her heat against Nia.

I rewatched the sneak peek and noticed the same thing. She's smiling and looking confident.

Remember the talk about how Nany hasn't/has changed? Watch this clip, you might get it now.

I noticed you post before and after you edited it and still don't know which clip you mean lol. Care to share?

I think it is moreso for her hatred for Theresa. If Theresa never ****** her over as a friend and talked shit about her then Nany wouldn't be all smiling like that. I don't take it as cocky, I take it as she just hates Theresa and  she is giving Theresa a taste of her own medicine since Theresa cheered so loudly when Nany went home.

Oh you meant just how she said she loved the elimination round and how she was acting up there? I see a bit of cockiness there, I'm sure she wants to see these two girls who constantly a used her to have to physical abuse each other.

The problem here is though that they did not send in Wes/Theresa. Theresa/Wes send Bananas/Nany in, it was a power move and they got it done and had one big enemy less and Theresa acted cocky only after the elimination round. After all was said and done. Nany, however, is acting as she is responsible for this and acting cocky before the elimination round. That is completly different. Of course Theresa is going to cheer for Nia, one of her own friends. Throughout the whole season, it seems/seemeed that Nany thinks only she can hook-up/cheer/stand up/act cocky/do whatever she wants and the other girls not, especially with Theresa/Nia/Averey. I'm not siding with any party, but this last seasons I get why people believe she changed into thinking she's queen bee.

Either you're cocky or not. IMO there's not a bit of cockiness.

I see no reason why she shouldn't take joy in this or be spiteful, these were some of the people who were cheering for her to lose and couldn't contain themselves with excitement when Nany was stuck and also getting frustrated and starting to tear up. I don't see how it can infered that Nany thinks she's the only who can hook up, cheer, etc. These just seem like observations people are forming on their own.

I agree. People forget the other side of the story. If someone was gloating on the sidelines when I was distressed in a competition I'd be very happy to see the tables turned.

We got the same thing for the guys. There was "Bananas is being so mean to Wes and cocky that he's back", when Wes was screaming "LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE'S GOING HOME!" the whole time after they got eliminated. I've never seen Bananas do that to someone. When he beat CT on Rivals or Jordan on Free Agents, both of whom he wanted out, he shook their hands and said good job. Was he happy about the win? Yeah...but he didn't rub it in their faces right after he beat them. When Leroy sent Wes home on Exes I didn't see him crowing on the sideline. If and when Wes gets beaten tonight I hope Bananas laughs his *** off (unless Wes is the person that appears to be injured in the preview...serious injuries shouldn't be laughed at).

So what if they didn't send them in? They took part in them getting last place and getting a strong team put against them. It isn't about either girl acting cocky...it is about them being spiteful to each other because they hated each other. I wouldn't say Theresa cheering against Nany was even acting cocky, it was more of being a *****. Nany is just being spiteful because of what Theresa did to her which is 100% understandable. Theresa was overboard cheering for Nia..she barely knows her I wouldn't say she was cheering that loud because Nia was her best friend.. she was cheering that loud to hurt Nany  so Nany is doing the same thing. Nany never said anything about thatTheresa/Averey/Nia couldn't cheer and not be obnoxious towards her, she never acted like she is the only one who can do it. She is just simply doing it in return to what Theresa did to her and I see nothing wrong with that.

You know what as much as I love Wes, that is so true. Bananas handled sending home Jordan/CT with respect while Wes yelled "Someones going home tonight" when he voted them in the deliberation. Nany/Bananas have every right to act like ******** if Wes/Theresa lose.

I did think Wes was a little mean to Bananas when he got sent home but I remember Bananas loudly cheering for Leroy/Naomi in their elimination against Wes/Mandi in the first Exes. And I remember in The Ruins dailies, Bananas, Evan and Kenny threw a party when Cohutta eliminated Wes lmao so I'm glad Wes got a little payback.

I'm really surprised that Theresa is smiling in that clip lol you'd think she'd be an emotional wreck after crying through the entire episode of last week.

Not at all. And I don't see anything wrong with it. And I'd have no problem if Wes did that. It's months after the fact. It's totally different. There's something to be said for having a little sportsmanship in the moment.

Something I noticed on Free Agents and Exes 2, Theresa has become a lot more confident than she used to be. Not that she ever credited herself as a poor competitor, but she's been more vocal recently about having skills and attributes of a good competitor.

And having sportsmanship after the game is done which Bananas did not have at all.

Theresa acted strange last episode. She cried throughout the whole thing (except when Nia was destroying the entire cast). Someone said that maybe it was 'her time of the month' I don't know if they were joking or not. It was just odd that she cried that much over a word.

She cries all the time so probably not. That is just Theresa for you, very sensitive.

I find that both Theresa and Nany are very sensitive and emotional.  It doesn't seem to take much for either of them to break down.  Whether they're angry, hurt, sad, or stressed, their eyes are filled with tears.   Theresa is so close to the final and sees it slipping  through her fingers and she is breaking down.
