yes nany WAS upset about Theresa making these comments but it was the fact that THERESA someone she considered to be close friends with (team gonzo whatever) to come out of the woodworks and take the easy low blows of trying to bond with people over discussing her ***ual history. its not the fact that it was about her *** life its the fact of her friend joining some bandwagon to take an opportunity to talk shit about her behind her back. ONCE AGAIN NANY HAS NEVER DENIED HOW MANY PEOPLE SHE HAS HAD *** WITH-- THE FACT THAT SOMEONE SHE THOUGHT WAS A CLOSE FRIEND OF HERS would use that against her to call her some **** would be hurtful to anyone.
1. Stating facts isn't talking shit--> averey has been acting bitter this season but apparently we can't say that about her because thats talking shit right because you like her?
2. If she's going to cry over it being pointed out then there's a problem --> averey cries (a lot), nany cries, theresa cries (at random times), zach cries climbing up a mountain, frank sweeney cries under stress, trey cries during his time of the month. Some people are just emotional thats not scientific evidence that crying correlates to the truth some people just get emotional when it involves someone you're close with betraying you.
3. She is a ****--it shouldn't be hurtful. If you're okay with what you did it shouldn't bother you when someone is honest about your actions but she was. That tells us a lot about Nany...at least it should --> correction, being a **** is hurtful, especially by your friend. theres a difference between be called a **** and being a ***ual person, if you don't get the difference in calling a woman a **** for her ***ual escapades versus just there being a woman who is ***ual then that tells us a lot about you and you're perception on humans as ***ual beings
Talking shit is talking shit no matter what truth lies in it. Just like its not cool to make fun of someone for being gay. Or mocking poor people and someone with a handicap. Its amazing how people don't realize this.
Being handicapped or gay is slightly different than sleeping with half the cast. I was unaware that Nany sleeping with everyone is somehow a handicap that she should be sensitive about.
Does anyone else find it dumb that once Bananas/Nany came back into the game, Sarah said "Just this morning, Jordan and I were convinced we were going into every single next elimination to fight our way til the end here?" There were 4 teams left in the game.....which means there was only one elimination left before the finals.
I think what she meant to say is that she just felt her team had eyes on them because they didn't want to follow Wes.
Such a weird move politically if there is only one dome left. Protect yourself by saying you will agree and then if you get power couple do what you want because you are already in the final as far as they knew. I don' t totally get what the upside was to splitting with Wes and Leroy. It worked out relatively well, but mostly just because of the twist. If they do that challenge with those 4 teams it is likely that Jordan and Sarah are being targeted instead of Wes and Theresa.

They're only different because of choice but they were merely examples. However If we want to get technical being poor isn't and is a choice at the same time. Doing something stupid in order to become handicap is also a choice unless you're born that way or something happens to you thats out of your control. Or simply making mistakes in your life can be attributred to choices. Just because people have screwed up in their lives that doesn't give someone the right to be judgemental about their choices either. If Theresa was Nany's friend then she should of had enough respect for her to not say a thing. Don't drag people through the mud. Especially when they're your so called friends. Like I said before. Its amazing how people don't seem to understand this.

Nany's reaction was far worse than Theresa's action
1. Nany was upset at Theresa because she was friends with her and for her to be running around gossiping and talking shit about her really upset her. It's not about rather it's true or not. It's about the friendship Nany thought she had with Ms. Fail.
2. Johnny was leading that team because he knew people and had relationships with people coming in. Avery did not. It would be dumb for him to let Avery lead when she wouldn't know what to do.
3. Nany coming to Avery and having the talk was bad timing but Avery would've been pissy no matter what timing it was so it's whatever.

Of course everyone has judgemental thoughts and at the same time theres a difference between thinking them and acting on them. Certainly not in the same league as talking behind peoples back. You're trying to defend talking trash about people because other people do it. I can't argue against that thought process.

Please find the post where I said I've never been judgemental of other people. Also why shift the discussion to me? Because your argument that its ok for what Theresa to do is flimsy? Supposedly because its not trash talking if its true? What factual evidence do you have that supports that arguement? What definition online says that trash talking only consists of false statements?
yes you were trash talking (fact) , particularly johnny, nany, jordan, assortment of others minus averey (evidenced in other posts). and you can't argue back because you use the same repetitive biased opinions to vehemently defend one or two cast members (observation) but fail to apply the same logic to the other ones that you trash (fact) so you can't argue with pig-headed ignorance (conclusion statement)

If you think speaking the truth is unacceptable then believe that
Let me just start off with this incredibly bold statement on this episode of The Challenge: Top 10 episodes....of all-time. ALL.TIME. And I may be biased because I'm of course #TeamBanany, but this episode is up there with some of the best. Also, this is the episode that changes absolutely everything about The Challenge and the mentality of the competitors moving forward (but I'll harp on that later).
Sidebar: Extremely disappointed in The Right Reasons podcast w/ Jacoby & Juliet sort of shrugging off The Challenge for the last few weeks. There's been some great stuff that has happened, but I guess The Real World season is way more entertaining. I haven't watched The Real World since Portland, and not consecutively since Back to Vegas.
Wes has won two Challenges in the nine years (and coincidentally nine seasons) he's been on the show. With that said, there hasn't been any season that he's previously been on that his game has been this bulletproof. He's intimidated competitors by actually winning a handful of Challenges, his political game is unmatched, and before Bananas could send him and Theresa coasting out the game -- he orchestrated the pseudo-death of Johnny Bananas for the first time in years. Give this man an award, give him something. He's even got Leroy on his side, and Leroyhated Wes. The worst part about all this is that he's about to get ****** over. Why? Not because someone found a hole in his game, but because swerves bring in ratings!
Sarah's game thus far, better than before
Good for Sarah for playing the game the way she needs to play the game. Sarah wants the rookies in the final with her, and she's not taking no for an answer -- which is admirable. Sarah and Jordan are playing this game for them to win, not necessarily to make it to the final. They're confident that they can make it to the final, but they can't be confident in winning without a sure thing. What gives them confidence in winning? Having the rookie team of Jay and the walking, living adaptation of Karen from Mean Girls make it to the final. Sarah has never won a Challenge, which isn't to say she's never had the chance to, but she's made it to multiple finals and lost. Why? Because her competition was so much better than her. Look at The Ruins. Look at Cut Throat. Look at Battle of the Seasons. She was clearly bested by a much better team in all three and she doesn't want that to happen now. Good for Sarah.
Theresa's breaking point, Part 1
So, Wes is pretty ****** that Jordan wants to throw the rookies for a "lay up" instead of allowing all three, qualified, actually athletic teams make it to the final. With that, he pulls a snakey move and tells Theresa that Jordan called him a bigger ***** that she was an ******* (which he technically admit it). For some reason, while she's washing the dishes, she literally explodes into tears. Tears everywhere. She's literally shocked, like she hasn't been called a ***** in her life or hasn't learned to suck shit up during all those years of sports she's played. I literally can't believe it.This starts off the altercation between Jordan and Wes, which makes for incredible conflict going into the final elimination round (or so we thought).
Roided up Wes
Was it ever confirmed that Wes was on steroids? Because BMP's not making their case that one of their competitors was on performance enhancing drugs to win a reality TV competition, any better by showing pictures of him on The Duel.
Jay gets the call
Jay gets a text from TJ telling the remaining members of the cast to meet him in the dome in 20 minutes, which begs the question: How close is the dome from where they live? Are they that close where they can throw some shit on and in 10 minutes they're there? I also love how no one knows what to wear. They're literally preparing for the final right now and Sarah doesn't know where she should be sporty or cute. She picks both.
And now, what we've all been waiting nine episodes for...the greatest moment in television
Everyone gets to the dome, and they have no idea what's going on, but they see the structures set up. I'm almost sure they were thinking that they were going to have to pick two teams to send into the dome. Instead, Zach and Jonna return from the dead in the first big shocker. Apparently Jonna is a glutton for punishment as she hasn't gotten as far away as humanely possible from Zach. I find it surprising that THEY don't know what's going on. They don't get the chance to go to the tiny house or rewind that video tape of TJ, just back into the dome after losing last episode.
Then comes the twist, and my favorite look from TJ ever. "There has been a secret bracket being played, and the winner will be back into the game" which gets the standard shock and awe from everyone. The speculation occurs. Who could it be? And out comes vengeance, and their name is Banany.
By far the best part of the moment was watching Wes squirm. Everything he had done. He removed his competition. He won the right Challenges. He politicked perfectly. He played the best game possible, and now everything amounts to nothing. Why? Because of a television twist. But probably the one person who felt worse than Wes was Theresa. I'll talk about her later.
We get Zach & Jonna vs. Bananas & Nany in the final Battle of the EX-iled, and it's a great Challenge that both Nany and Jonna are familiar with. I admire every bit of effort Jonna put in, including falling from the top of the structure to her near death (okay, maybe not), but I was happy to see Bananas & Nany get back into the house. I think production was giddy as well.
This changes everything
This episode, in my opinion, changes everything for the rest of the series of The Challenge.
As much as I love Bananas and Nany, I'll agree that they don't deserve to be back in the game. They lost. It was great, and bittersweet, but I would've came to terms with their loss and just complained how crummy the season was after the fact. With this Battle of the EX-iled, they've eliminated the consequences of losing in this game -- especially when you spend three weeks in the lap of luxury while everyone's toiling over Challenges and politics in the game.
BMP have been trying to incorporate twists into the series. Rivals was the whole, opposite gender determining your fate. This one was way more extreme as it messes up the dynamic of the game. You've basically said now, losing is okay because even if you lose, it doesn't mean shit but you can still win. It would've been worse if the rumored concept came into play, which hopefully somebody can confirm. Originally, I believe it was supposed to be a four-team final with the Ex-iled winners going immediately into the final. But I think the departure of Diem and CT ruined all of that, but that's pure speculation. Hopefully someone knows.
Everything made for great TV, don't get me wrong. And the boost in ratings reflected that, but it puts The Challenge series in this space where they're going to need these gimmicky twists like Real World to stay alive. That's just my sidebar on it.
Theresa's been pretty much public enemy number one since she started The Challenge. She's been on the opposite side of Nany. She's unfairly, and hypocritically, referred to her as a *****. She's masterminded Bananas and Nany exit from the game. From her lying and conniving, she's become the female villain on the season...but it's clear that she doesn't want to assume that role.
When Bananas and Nany come back into the house, Theresa's world as we know it is completely over. Wes can sort of cope with everything not going the way he wanted it because it's happened before and he's won before. Theresa has never won, ever. She's never even made it to a final. The last major (unfair) twist in the game, saw Tina come back and she had to drag her through the dirt while Tori got less of a struggle on Cut Throat. This was her opportunity to win, and she saw that in her future.
This twist comes in, and it kicks the living shit out of her. Theresa and Wes' interlude where she locks herself in the bathroom crying is funny (because of the funny backdrop music they've played), but it's kind of sad. She's come so close to doing what she wants to do, and she's being screwed out of it again. Fresh Meat 2, she was eliminated before the final. Cut Throat, the Tina twist. Rivals 2, she was paired with Jasmine. Free Agents, literally the luck of the draw sent her in right before the final. She's a great competitor, who deserves to compete, but her string of bad luck has chipped away at her. It's the reason why she's so hellbent on winning that she'll cut all friendships to do so. She doesn't want to be some reality TV villain, she wants to win this competition and she's had to unfortunately think that fate doesn't want her to win.
Daily Challenges that don't matter
Oh yeah, there are still Challenges left. There's nothing of major note of this Challenge. Heights. Water. Wrecking ball. Wes & Theresa are eliminated first, and I think they knew they were going in beforehand and didn't bother to try. For some reason, Nia was too afraid to stand on her peg and jump off, and Leroy decided that he didn't need to win or anything and jumped off so Jordan can win. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
If I was Nia, I'd be ******, but she can't really say anything because she jumped off first. Jordan and Sarah win, and they opt not to send in Bananas and Nany because they're in an "alliance". Jordan and Sarah have reiterated the point over and over that they will NOT send the rookies in, and somehow it just hits Leroy and Nia. Perhaps Jordan said the opposite to Leroy, or made a deal, but if not....Leroy screwed himself. This just brings out Tropical Storm Nia.
What proceeded was one of the best cliffhangers we've got all season (better than the one where they're jumping off of boxes). Nia's not happy with going in, and she's not happy with Jordan. **** move Jordan laughs in the face of her thinking that they were ever friends, especially after their season (they made up after their season, which was puzzling). He also says that this was the real her all along, as if she's just some loud, crazy black woman 24/7 (unjust assumption from ******* Jordan).
Nia goes off on everyone, EVERYONE. As she should because she could potentially go home, and she doesn't believe The Rookies should get a free ride to the final. (Spoiler Alert: There's still one more elimination after this. If the rookies lost, everyone would still have to go against each other. But the plan is, get rid of Wes). Nany, who for once is sitting pretty, gets some words thrown their way and a fight may break out the likes we haven't seen since Making The Band 2 on MTV. I'm screaming "Let em fight! Let em fight!" like Babs.
The only time we get to see Theresa smile all episode.

Yes dismiss my statements by what I've done in the past. I'm starting to see a theme here. See my posts above about how I've never said I haven't done it before. Not to mention we're on a forum discussing people on a tv show. However at the same time I'm not remotely anyone of their friends nor do I run in their circles. Nor am I talking trash about them behind their backs to people who do run in their circles or are their friends. But keep thinking that discussing reality tv show people on a internet forum is the same as doing it in person. Also you might want to recognize the difference between talking trash and making observations.
Of course everyone has judgemental thoughts and at the same time theres a difference between thinking them and acting on them. Certainly not in the same league as talking behind peoples back. Hyproctrical of what? Dragging people through the mud? Does that invalidate my statement somehow? Does that make trash talking more acceptable? Yes online. Or find a book. Look up facts or expand to an outside source beyond what "you believe". And again I never said there was nothing wrong with "the truth" just in the manner its used. Using the "truth" behind someones back especially when they are your friend to smear them I'd say generally itsn't going to end well.

Was it ever confirmed that Wes was on steroids? Because BMP’s not making their case that one of their competitors was on performance enhancing drugs to win a reality TV competition, any better by showing pictures of him on The Duel.
I mean I guess not, but does six pack equal steroids? He didn't really have a job in those early challenges that I'm aware of. He would like put up YT vids of workouts. Being buff was like his focus back then. So going from that to not working out will change your muscles quite a bit. He obviously could have done steroids, but I don't see that pic as being much evidence.

Nice recap! Apart from the Jonna being a 'glutton for punishment' line, that was gross.
TJ's smirk was also my fave look ever ****! I can't belive anyone could dislike TJ as a host he's great, like **** being completely impartial, it's cool that he's actually into it and having fun with it.
Watching that again, what the **** was Johnny talking about when he asked "how many wins do you guys have?"
Was he ******* serious? She should've cut into him even more & brought up how he's now on his 11th challenge & this is all his scummy *** has in life but Nany jumped in.

You know I didn't even catch that the first time. I absolutley agree. I really do wish she would've layed into his ***. Not only that but lay into everyone else for kissing his ***.
Being handicapped or gay is slightly different than sleeping with half the cast. I was unaware that Nany sleeping with everyone is somehow a handicap that she should be sensitive about.
People will always judge others...it is part of what makes us human
Nany's reaction was far worse than Theresa's action
Okay.
WEEEOOOOWEEEEOOOW that is not a FACT how dare you
Show me where I said it was a fact...reading 101
So its ok because other people do it. All I needed to hear.
You do it as well--see your posts. Everyone...EVERY SINGLE PERSON...judges others...it just depends what they value the most
The holier than thou act is beyond tired
Why was the post deleted--I had a good reply that got wasted
Of course everyone has judgemental thoughts and at the same time theres a difference between thinking them and acting on them. Certainly not in the same league as talking behind peoples back. You're trying to defend talking trash about people because other people do it. I can't argue against that thought process.
See your posts--you're acting on it.
There was no trash talking here...you don't seem to grasp that. I can't argue against the lack of thought
I'm just saying you're a hypocrite
"What definition online"...did you really say online?
If you think speaking the truth is unacceptable then believe that

Troll Bannas is back
Wes' game has been perfect, thus far

Theresa's breaking point, Part 2

Also you might want to recognize the difference between talking trash and making observations.
lol no i was referring to kvmblahblahblah my apologies, if there was a like button id be right there with you
Hyproctrical of what? Dragging people through the mud? Does that invalidate my statement somehow? Does that make trash talking more acceptable? Yes online. Or find a book. Look up facts or expand to an outside source beyond what "you believe". And again I never said there was nothing wrong with "the truth" just in the manner its used. Using the "truth" behind someones back especially when they are your friend to smear them I'd say generally itsn't going to end well.
Oh lol np
Great post as usual.
"the walking, living adaptation of Karen from Mean Girls make it to the final" DEAD!

I took that as Wes' sarcasm and Jay just sucking at it, lol. I do not imagine those two getting into it at all.
Meelz, great analysis on Theresa's situation. I agree 100%.

Troll Bannas is back
Wes' game has been perfect, thus far
Wes has won two Challenges in the nine years (and coincidentally nine seasons) he's been on the show. With that said, there hasn't been any season that he's previously been on that his game has been this bulletproof. He's intimidated competitors by actually winning a handful of Challenges, his political game is unmatched, and before Bananas could send him and Theresa coasting out the game -- he orchestrated the pseudo-death of Johnny Bananas for the first time in years. Give this man an award, give him something. He's even got Leroy on his side, and Leroy hated Wes.

Theresa's breaking point, Part 2

My face when Dominican girls are in an argument.
Hurricane Nia, incoming
