That's a long tradition carried on. lol. I even remember a quote from Tina about it. "If you're a rookie, this is your initiation. And your initation is spending a week here."

the problem from an entertainment point is that if new chalengers keep getting shuffled out in the first few episodes meaning there's a smaller casting pool for new vets. People who been on real world are less likely to jump onto the challenge because why even bother if you're gonna get kicked out in a week because of somethjg stupid like senioroirty. Also it means relying on vets like Wes, CT and Bananas to carry the season and please try to convince me having the same select group of people make to the end again and again not boring as hell. That's why I like BOTS2 because it finally broke the rookie cannon fodder mold

I agree with all that. That's how I've always felt. And some of these vets are also jealous of new castmembers, especially if they came off a popular season. They don't want anyone taking their shine. I remember how everyone treated the 4 Austin members when they appeared on their first challenge Fresh Meat. They were all being hated on because their season was really popular and there was some jealousy (and Wes being Wes).

They should have shown that situation with Thomas and Simone. I hate she didn't get her chance to shine.

Let's look on the bright side. At least they did this stupid elimination on these two teams. Lol

I dont know I would have rather seen that game they played on the ruins where they were tied to each other and had to pull each other off the box

This is the most polarizing elimination ever. I can see why some people like it, yet I can also see why some people hate it.

This can go either way and it's different. They should do stuff like this more often.

This elimination also reminds me of that incredibly dumb one on the Duel. Where you just had to bet that the other person couldn't lift a basket of coconuts or some dumb crap like that.
