HD makes some of these people look haggard. That might be a reason why they don't ask the old schoolers, they figure all the alcohol is making these people look 40 anyway.
Averey & Hailey did very well.
Dustin he'll never live it down but he seems to be the only person who brings it up now. I remember looking on Susie's instgram once & she had a pic she took with Dustin & I think Leroy. Christina from her season commented "Is he still not gay?" & Susie replied "I love you". ****oo
Where is this *** that Zach spoke of? Didn't see it on Jenna.
Nia, Jonna & Simone. Nia has been looking very high in her interviews ****
JJ does look like a real-life Shaggy.
I can appreciate Wes because despite how much he might fail at it, he does try to shake up the game when he can & is one of the only regulars to do it. Of course Johnny only thinks it's too early when it's his *** on the line. Ms. Fail also did very well on the mission.
People have said Devyn does it, but Zach is the real try-hard imo. "Beat it, nerd" shut the **** up & let them walk out. The gag reflex confessional failed also.
Smh @ Thomas & Jay and how they obviously had no type of plans to form some type of alliance, Wes basically had to map it out for them.
There was no need for the introductions imo, as most of them have made the show their "job" anyway. Save this for when the cl***ic vets come back (if they ever do smh).
Overall, it was good.
They both are, but to me Zach does have some good lines not only when he does confessionals.
I'm still holding out hope for the AYTO cast members. When Camila first appeared on Cutthroat, I was really upset that MTV had gone outside RW/RR/FM for what seemed like no reason. But, then with time you get used to see these people on your TV, and you move on from caring about what show they originated on. If the cast members are entertaining and want to compete and win, then that's the most important thing I care about.
Wasn't overly impressed with the premiere. The challenge was good and i was thrilled Tom/Hailey did well. Diem looked great. It was also really cool to almost see her make fun of herself for the cancer. "I know people are tired of hearing about it and i'm tired of having it." Just not happy with the cast. I think they could have gotten such better people and the AYTO cast members were wall flowers and just awkward. They should have taken Trey/Laura & Danny/Melinda instead.
I find it interesting that Wes is making the same mistake that he made on Exes 1. He treats every game like it's a majority vote issue when that couldn't be further from the case. On Exes, you're supposed to align with the strong teams, as only one team has power each week and it's the team that wins the competition. Look at the main alliance on Exes 1: Johnny/CT/Mark/Dunbar...they won EVERY challenge that season besides the one that Johnny let Sarah win and the last place teams were almost always the weakling teams, especially for the first third of the game. While it sounds nice to have the four rookie teams be teams that won't say your name, I doubt any of those teams will win a challenge and they'll come in last pretty frequently. It's a pretty meaningless alliance.
As a good team themselves, they should be throwing in with Bananas/Nany, CT/Diem, Sarah/Jordan and maybe Leroy/Nia and Zach/Jonna and hoping that one of those teams ***** up at some point and gets themself sent in or one of them turns on another. You could probably leverage Theresa's friendships with Bananas, Sarah and Zach to even be higher in the group pecking order in most scenarios. The goal is an easy final...but you have to get to the final first.
Just watched the episode. I really haven't been into much of the speculation or hype off season, but as soon as it started I remembered how much I love the franchise.
Anyway really solid first episode even if I thought the challenge and eliminations were a bit boring. Sucks for Dustin that Jessica screwed up, he was obviously gutted. Although I think he was a bit ott with his whole "never fit in with the guys" thing. He was just on the wrong seasons, BOTS2 only really had Zach from this new group of "vets" and then he was out second in FA. He's one of my favourites though so it sucked seeing him so upset. Hoping they stick around for a bit in exile.

I did not get that perception at all. To me it was like her saying **** you to all the people who have such an issue with her telling her story. It was like, your tired of hearing me talk about it, why dont you live with it and see how you would feel. Some people need to get over themselves. If I was diagnosed with cancer 3 times I suspect I would talk about it a lot as well. Especially considering all that she lost because of it. And people can say her story is more suitable for Real World or that Diem's story was annoying but, the producers kept asking her to come and they are the ones who cut the edits so.....
I have no problem with that at all. It gave the show more depth and showed that young people arent all about ***, drinking, and drama. There are young people out there faced with more serious issues in their lives and they should be represented as well. Diem told her story for them.
I love the Zach/Jonna and Knight/Jemmye dynamics, they are really fun to watch.
Dustin I know the guys don't like you, but it's not because of your past, you're just annoying as ****. I did felt a little bad for him, but aside from that I'm glad he and Jess are gone.
Jemmye's confessionals were all spot on.
Theresa gets hate for no reason, she did nothing bad this episode and people are still giving her a hard time (and I mean the viewers).
Averey and Hailey absolutely killed it considering they are one of the smallests in the house.
Bananas is a joke, he telling Wes is too soon to send him one was stupid, he knows he's scared. I would have loved seeing him on the first elimination, but at least Dustin and Jess are out of the game instead.
I loved how Theresa recognized she sucks at politics and it was nice seeing her let Wes do all the scrambling.
Nany is such a hypocrite, giving Theresa a hard time for talking shit behind her back when she was doing exactly the same.
Hailey and Jenna doing cartwheels was the highlight of the episode for me, that was so hot. And Jenna may not have a bubble butt like Nia, but it's not bad to look at all.
Also, I'm in love with this house, it reminds of the one on the Inferno.
this is probably a stupid question , but are Wes and Bananas joking on Twitter or are they legit beefing? I know Laurel has made a comment about it .
I think they are joking around. There relationship has always been like they don't like each other but they joke around with it.
Also I think on twitter, there is a lot of ATYO bashing because they took out Zito/Jess. Whether people on this forum like Zito or not he is a fan favorite and I'm sure people are ****** seeing him go home to an AYTO team.

Did Nany say anything that bad about Theresa though? She said she liked her a lot on Free Agents but the editing made her seem different and said she was sketchy. I don't see that as the same as Theresa's hyperbolic statement that Nany ****** everyone in the house besides Wes and telling everyone what a ***** she is. The edit on Free Agents WAS bad for Theresa on Free Agents and she IS a sketchy political player...she even said it herself, whereas Nany didn't actually sleep with every dude there.
Just got caught up on DVR, quick thoughts on the premiere:
1) This premiere was overall more entertaining than Free Agents. It would be nice if they could find fresh themes and I hate to say it, but this format just works better (story-wise) than FA with the random draw and constantly changing team formations. That said, there are still too many random couples here.
2) Wes, like him or not, is an entertaining character and adds something to the seasons he is on.
3) Jenna's voice and blank stare, and Jay's everything annoy me.
4) Diem is straight-up radiant and it's almost unfathomable what lies ahead for her. I can't believe how well she did on the first one given what was happening in her body at the same time. Also, she was so determined and composed she was on the heights challenge. Isn't that supposed to be her kryptonite (heights)? I think the money and what she wanted to do with it was such a strong motivator. She wanted to win, and was so ready for this challenge; not entited but just fit and ready to earn the win. I'm happy we can see her happy and healthy one last time and I hope they include as much footage of her on the next episode as possible. Her family/friends/fans won't get another opportunity to see her again. She and CT came in as such a strong/solid team with good ties to the cast/alliances.
5) Jemmye in a sense is the new Devyn - here for one-liners or shade-throwing vs. competing seriously.
6) I feel like Theresa//Wes will align with Sarah/Jordan (united against Bananas/Nany) once the Diem stuff happens b/c CT/Diem were otherwise a strong alliance partner for Wes.
7) This late time slot is awkward and kind of a graveyard. Regardless, it will likely beat FA's ratings probably b/c of Diem/CT, Diem and Knight's passing, and Exes theme. Not sure about episodes towards the end unless people become invested in finalists.
Ex-isle twist is potentially a good one.
9) I get the feeling this season won't be great look for Nany. I see some foreshadowing when they showed her badmouthing Theresa and all the "playing the field" digs and cutaways.
10) I get the feeling this may be the swan song challenge for the franchise. If it gets reboot it may go in the direction of RW, have some kind of franchise-changing twist (new MTV shows or less about the challenge and more about some dramatic thing where they get paired up with people from their pasts, etc.)
I do agree that Theresa is a shady player. Nany was stating fact, but Theresa was doing the same thing, so I don't get why Nany was mad at her.
To be honest I don't care who's wrong or right, I just hope we get something juicy out of this.
I love Avery/Johnny, Zach/Jonna, Hailey, Nany, Wes/Theresa. Avery's line about someone not loving you anymore was tough and I liked how Diem was pretty much hearing her out. Zach's confessionals are very scripted almost as well, but they are still entertaining to me.
CT/Diem deserve their own mention apart from everyone else because of how adorable they were last night.

Her sleeping with everyone in the house besides Wes is a fact?
But I do agree with your conclusion haha.
I think it's funny that Johnny and Wes seem to be over fighting and are just picking at each other for the sake of doing it without any animosity behind it...but now their partners are going to go at it.
Emilee sounds psycho. It's not the end of the world that ayto is on!! I think it's so awesome! My favorite world's collide! <3 Like this may be my favorite challenge ever because of them. They are fresh and new and have better TV personalities vs. Emilee and CM. I love the rookies this season!!! Especially Averey omg she's a dream! Kellyanne who?????? I really hope they cast more ayto! You can never have enough villains!
I love your love for AYTO. Together we can fight off the haters.
Winners and Losers from last night! Dustin and Tyrion Lannister having a chat? Is it possible for someone to check off all the cliche reality TV boxes in only four episodes? Is Wes/Bananas the best rivalry since Kobe and Shaq? All those questions plus more answered inside!

Susie is just an ******* As for Christina she needs a sandwhich....and a muzzle. Jenna has no ***.
To be fair, there has also been some support for Adam/Brittany in that elimination round.
They both are, but to me Zach does have some good lines not only when he does confessionals.
You didn't see Jenna's ***? **** I'm gay and I can tell her *** is on fire...
All of this! ^
Yuck.
I mean, to me that's not ***. Nia got ***, Jenna just got a butt ****
Jenn doesn't even have a butt...I mean she's not flat but it's nothing to write home about.
****!!!

I agree with that. I think it's strong of him to even admit he feels that way.
Thanks but no thanks Miss Cleo.
