I'm glad timster brought that up cause I feel the same way. Way to many people come on here complaining about small things as if you aren't gonna watch the show. Then people easily point the finger at BMP with all these issues. Tired of the same ole cast? They gave you BOTS and you still complained. Wanted your favorites back? They gave you Rivals 2 and you still complained. Wanted something new and fresh where alliances didn't matter? They gave you Free Agents and the draw but people still complained and now you still complain about the same people be cast? They gave you 4 from Explosion and 4 from AYTO but of course everyone still complains. It's a show that we don't run or work for to get too hyped up about. Complaining constantly isn't going to turn back time and redo this season with a new cast.

I'm just gonna keep copying & pasting this from now on when someone on here tries to argue against this.

This post gave me SO MUCH LIFE. That's all that needs to be said.

I do agree with that Free Agents comments. It's like people wanted unpredictability but then wanted the strongest people at the end and think it should always be that way..Which is hasn't been. Look at both Duel Seasons for Example. And both Seasons of The Gauntlet 1 and Inferno 1. I loved the format.

And for what it's worth I loved the Fresh Cast for Battle of the Seasons 2 and I defended that season alot during it's airing. I was disapointed with Rivals 2 because it was basically back to the same old shit...But Marlon/Jordan and Cooke/Cara Maria eased that pain.

Again your argument didn't make sense.

"I am going to watch the season, and you're STILL going to be whiny as ever. Who wins? Not you, that's for sure."

No i'm not gonna be the one whining because I love this season's format and cast, you will be the one crying about the cast like you have been the entire time. I'm gonna love it, so who wins? I do, not you LOL. You will waste your time on this website writing down your pointless thoughts and complaints, and guess what changes? Nothing, because this season has already been filmed. And guess what? You'll still watch. Your logic is flawed and you refuse to admit it.

How is that flawed? How does that not make sense? Most of these people will probably still watch it, regardless of AYTO being on the show. I'm one of those people. I don't really care, but the fact is, this argument keeps being brought up and it's a waste of energy because the same thing keeps being spun in a circle.

Obviously nothing changes, but we're still going to talk about it. Again, we're just talking about it. Get that through your head please.

I thought it was too early for BOTExes, that was my only ever thought on it. I have no influence on the people who film/make this show, so honestly, you have no ground to argue. You aren't winning, but keep spinning those delusions inside your head.

I feel like they only included Are You The One? cast members as a last resort. They were out of exes pairs that were willing and available to do the season so they went with the next best thing. I'm hopeful that they'll spice it up, especially Simone, but honestly I have no idea

Actually they did have some teams they could've used(Trey/Laura, Eric/Sahar, Darrell/Rachel) but they just chose not too because they're "boring" or "too old".

*high five*

Agree with all you said

Holy Moly. When will this madness end. WittyWrath and LurkerNoMore please post some funny memes or gifs. Hopefully thatll end the madness.

Besides the teams that could have been, I'm sure there's more  Exes that could have worked. I mean, Abram/Coral? Davis/Ryan? Whomever.

I never got why people didn't like the Draw. Some of the castmembers didn't like it because they couldn't coast/screw/buy their way to the end like they usually do, but it made no sense for the viewers not to IMO but the teeny-boppers & JEK era fanatics MTV loves are helping to kill the show as well.

I agree. I loved the Draw. And I thought that it was a much needed addition to this show. It really added some unpredictability that was sorley needed. I was surprised to find out so many people didn't like it and complained about it. I mean SOMEONE was going to get lucky due to The Draw and that someone was probably going to be someone that wasn't all that good as a competitior. What did they expect?

Again your argument didn't make sense.

I would've been okay with your post until the very end because well..

PLEASE don't even bring that up. Besides the AYTO drama.

The other 2 most annoying arguements are people hating on The Draw and people complaining about Devyn making it to the final without going into elimination.

Graphik I know you've been disagreeing with me you have to admit that they have tried to listen to fans and apply it to the show. Again it's not PERFECT, but they have listened and you can't put all the blame on BMP.

They added the draw because we were sick and tired of the coasters & the strong group of friends making it to the end without having to do jack squat. This format really switched things up.

They made BOTS full of rookies because we complained about the veteran dominance on the show with repeat winners.

We were tired of pair seasons so they did Free Agents.

As long as i've been watching the show, I can tell that they do not give a **** anymore. They do switch it up with the formats, i'll give them that. But everything else, they've been saying "**** it, it'll work itself out". That is just insane with all the history this show has.

I liked both Seasons 2 & Free Agents (Seasons really needs to be the go-to "theme" if anything). Those two showed that this show can get it right if they TRY to put more effort into things. Even after Team Sydney having to leave + all the rumored teams, it still turned out pretty good. Now Free Agents cast could've been a WHOLE lot better but it was good that Cohutta, Isaac & Emillee got a chance to come on, plus anything with Nia on it is *yes3*. But the format was great. Rivals 2 only caught any attention from me because of Cooke.

Okay good, at least you agree with that. Plus I love that you added the Nia part. That's another one of the horrible arguments on here (Nia vs Avery) ****. It would get heated whenever that was brought up in a thread.

The cast being " fresh " wasn't a problem for seasons imo, the cast being weak was.

Don't say anything about it, there are still posters here who think Nia is a hellspawn who viciously attacked poor wittle defenseless Averey & will take any chance to let you know it (even when no one else was talking about it), then will turn it around & say YOU started it **** that fight can't even get mentioned around here.

I heard drama was in this thread.

But how could they predict that without seeing how it plays out first? There's no way to predict how the noobie teams will compete up against one another. Sometimes plans don't work out the way as planned, but I still enjoyed the season as a whole.

**** oh lord I actually got banned during Portland because of an argument similar to that. It was a mess.

Well said. BMP has been trying and I'll give them their props. Seasons 2/Free Agents were good signs. But by and large it's just doesn't seem like they put in effort.

Oh and I agree with Nia/Avery situation. I personally think that everyone was wrong in that situation. Noone came out of that smelling like roses.

They knew the cast would be weak, they had big easy, Danny ,melinda and Jasmine. If they seriously thought people like Devyn and Sam would be athletic then they are idiots.
They made athletic people like Ashlee, Leroy &?and Cooke alternates. Ashlee is the only one from Nola who has any athletic ability.

I feel like they only included Are You The One? cast members as a last resort. They were out of exes pairs that were willing and available to do the season so they went with the next best thing. I'm hopeful that they'll spice it up, especially Simone, but honestly I have no idea

I think they probably didn't even ask the people you listed. I also do think they tried to get Dunbar/Ashili but that didn't pan out for some reason.

I do know that Trey/Laura were alternates and Darrell/Rachel, Eric/Sarah were in the running of being cast but they didn't end up putting them on. Shame..would've been nice to see any one of those teams IMO.

Then I guess that goes back to the entertainment vs competition argument. I think they care more casting interesting characters, than casting athletic competitors. And sadly a lot of people can't fit both groups.

Who needs an *** whooping?

Unpopular opinion:

Johnny B. is really not the most exciting person to watch, which is why some people find it crazy that he is basically the "face" of the show. Most of his moments had more to do with other people rather than him.

I think Eric from NOLA 2 has potential as well, but of course he's too "boring".

You really think they cast people based on them being athletic or not? What are you smoking and where can I get it?

*Raises hand* I've never understood how people find him so entertaining. He's NEVER been a standout character. He's NEVER been funny. He's NEVER been likable. He's just not inteesting at all. The only reason he has the fanbase he does is that he's been brough back so many times that people got attached to him. I guarentee that if it wasn't brought back so much he wouldn't be a fan favorite and he wouldn't be the "face" of the show either. And like you said his main moments involed other people moreso than him. Cutthroat and Free Agents are prime examples of that.

The only reason I like him now is because he's not a *********** like CT was on Rivals 2 or an attention ***** like Wes (super unpopular opinion).

Ever sinces Rivals 2 I feel that he's toned it down. I don't think he cares too much about camera time anymore, all he wants is fun competition, and the grand prize at the end. Plus he's less of a jerk without his friends.

I love Weston Bergmann.

I'm apart of that group as well lol. I mean just looking from The Duel to now, what exactly has Johnny done to warrant him now being on his 11th challenge? I mean you know why people like Coral, Beth, Tonya, Katie, Veronica, Aneesa, CT, Abe, etc. **** even Darrell has had some blowups & you know he's a hothead & plays no games with people. With Johnny it's just the whole Bananas schtick and...other people. He's pretty much been riding The Island & Cutthroat Backpack moments & will until the wheels fall off unfortunately.

Johnny's greatest moment was sending in a written complaint to both MTV & BMP about not even receiving an availability call for BOTSeasons. That unjustifiable sense of entitlement should earned him a spot on The Challenge blacklist, and allowed the real faces of the franchise a chance to make their presence known once again to this new crowd of viewers.

**** some straight loser shit. with all the money he's won you would think he would have some other ventures outside of the challenges besides bobbleheads.

It's just hilarious that the "face" of the show now was always the 3rd/4th wheel in his group & was wasn't a factor at all in his first 3 challenges (if only to get a confessional complaining about  Tyler or Susie & Cara - speaking of which, the latter really needs to come back even if Susie has to be with her. They got under his skin like no other). It's the equivalent of making Austin Danny or Ms. Fail a top leader lol you're just like "oh....ok?"

You know I stll can't believe he did that. If I were BMP I wouldn't even bring him back just based off that. He'd be permanetly reitred.
