Portland wasn't that bad, I only saw like one episode of San Diego and it seemed kinda bleh, and St. Thomas was HORRIBLE. Horrible location, horrible cast, all around a mistake.
I noticed on the RW Skeletons trailer that it looks like they removed security from the house. I truly hope so. I just made a super long rant in the Bad Girls Club 14 thread about fighting on reality tv. But what I HAAAATED about Ex-plosion was the security. Literally everytime Hailey or Brian would stand up during an argument a security guard would run over and drag them into another room like they were a little child being baby sat. It' is not necessary for all that. I understand that production might've gotten in trouble for the Nia vs Avery and Johnny fight (one of my favorite RTV moments of all time). But really? This is THE REAL WORLD. Let things play out. If things get too violent, then seperate them, but don't start seperating people for getting in each other's faces. It's so ridiculous how storylines get ruined because producers are so afraid of another big fight happening.
I truly hope there are no security guards stalking them this season. Portland episode before the finale, and finale episode was some the realest, raw, and most geniuine fights i've ever seen on reality tv. They added very little music, there was no interference. It felt like you were there watching them in the room. You could feel every emotion, they didn't over edit the scenes or anything. I would love to see it again lol.
and to add onto the converstion about. I agreee with most that said Portland > St Thomas > San Diego.
St Thomas was a very bland season that was centered around Trey & Laura breaking up and getting back together over and over again and Marie & LaToya being hillarious. It was a very fun yet bland season. It's very hard for 2 girls with average amount of screen time to carry the entire season. Someone said this on here before a long time ago, St Thomas was more like watching a group of friends on field trip than watching a season of The Real World. But I do appreciate the positive vibe of the season because San Diego was completely negative and atrocious the entire time. The fights were so repetitive, I couldn't take it anymore.
Out of those three...St Thomas is by far the worst.. I usually rewatch real world seasons after they air and I can't bring myself to rewatch it because it was so bad. The cast is better on the challenges but they didn't mesh well together at all on their season. The whole sea urchin episodes is by far one of the most annoying episodes I've ever seen.

And by cast i think you mean Trey and Marie specifically. those are the only two that got better.
Robb is still wallpaper and annoying as ****. He better be glad Dunbar threw that challenge on Rivals 2.
Latoya got worst in my opinion, like you won ONE elimination and your four challenge perfromances were MODERATE at best. chill the **** out. Laura remained the same, under Trey coattails and Swift is Swift. his commentary is alright.
Well it looks like i'm the only one who think Cancun got rated WWWAAYY too high. there was no real motive of that season, it didin't feel like the Real World. more like a Spring break spinoff from the RW. New Orlkeans is probably the most comparable to that season but for some reason that i can't explain, New Orleans actaully felt like a Real World season.

I love the fact that they brought in alternates to replace the roommate. I think it's interesting to see what direction casting was looking at with finalists.

The drama between all of them in portland was petty and painful to watch in my opinion. I am pretty sure Nia still would have stepped on Daisy **** causing the fight, I still think is one of the dumber reasons to fight.
The first Las Vegas was my favorite goodbye. At the time, watching them leave one by one was pretty emotional after I got so attached to all of them lol
The older seasons were a lot more emotional because the cast was there way longer like the original LV they were there for six months and SD was 5 months. I can't imagine leaving after that amount of time. I wish they would go back to that. At least like 3 or 4 months.
