After a quick fling, the romance fizzled and this turbulent duo went their separate ways. Fresh off his win on Free Agents, Bananas vows to keep focus on the game, “We’re just better as friends. I’ve dabbled in this spicy Latina dish once or twice and I realized it’s too hot for me.” Until now, these two have done a good job dancing around the past and keeping their distance. Nany reveals, “Bananas and I usually tried to stay as far away from each other as possible on past Challenges, so the fact that now we are glued together, I don’t know how this is going to work out.” However, when one of these vets has a change of heart and old feelings surface, the strength of their team will be put to the test. I'm trying to think of a pro athlete equivalent for Nany. Has all the tools to win, has the fire, but just can't get her head on straight and focus on the endgame. Last final she stopped because of a damn spider and according to Johnny got happy that they were ahead on the middle leg and coasted instead of hustling.
I'm not ruling out Bananas.
Two of my favorite challenge cast members on the same team, you can't beat that. Bananas is the returning champion & Nany has a lot of potential in my opinion. They should be one of the most exciting teams there & hopefully go far in the game.
I'm torn on this team. On one hand I like Nany and want to see her win. But at the same time I hate Backpack and don't want to see him win again.

Bananas is my dude but ordinarily I wouldn't root for him this season since he just took the last one. However, given that all of the other people that I'm a fan of (Leroy, Sarah, Theresa) are paired with people that I'm either lukewarm on (Nia) or flat out don't like (Wes, Jordan), this is still my team.
