Shanley/Chris should have been casted. There is tension, they had a real relationship, Shanley was the star of the show, and she won pretty much all the challenges. I know there challenges were stupid but it shows she is competitive.

Ummmm noooo I'm happy they're not on their. They picked the right teams. Chris isn't very confrontational like Shanley so them being together could have gone great and we saw a lot of drama or really bad and we got nothing but two people kinda avoiding each other. I didn't know the second break up was so bad though.

Honestly, Shanley looks like she's just looking for attention to me. It looks like she couldn't milk the "star-crossed lovers" thing much longer without it getting boring, so she went the "he's a psychopathand I'm scared of him" road. That's classy, attacking his character, making it really hard to defend himself. It's a very smart move, actually. Her whole delivery, especially the last line ("It got creepy. real fast") seemed rehearsed. Something about her always irked me. Don't get me wrong, she's great tv and I would love to see her on a Challenge, but she's not someone I would associate myself with.
So last night's special was good, but here are my thoughts on it all.

Binged watched season 1 and I have to say that I enjoyed this show. The cast was perfect. My favs were Simone, Shanely, Paige, Amber, Ethan, Wes, Adam, and JJ. I hated Kayla, Scali, Brittany, and Chris T. The others were insignificant to me. I kinda wish they didn't give them those freebies towards the end. I also wished they explained more on why people were matches like Ashleigh and JJ.
I just watched the baby special (it's on mtv.com if anyone's looking for it) and here are some of my thoughts.
Ethan and Amber. Can they just fade into oblivion and never come back to my tv screen again? I thought that proposal on reunion was cringeworthy (whenever a guy proposes on camera it's just crap, and Amber was trying too hard to look surprised), but I wasn't ready for how desperate for attention they actually are. It seriously looks like MTV were the first people they called as soon they found out about the pregnancy. Jacy even wrote on her blog that she found out about Amber being pregnant from production despite being friends with them. Letting them film the ultrasound and the whole "finding out the sex of the baby on camera" was just sad. I know it's a reality show, but they're worse than Danny and Melinda at this point. I hope they live happily ever after, but never ever appear on tv again, but who am I kidding? Let's get ready for the wedding special next year.
Chris T.: and this is why I don't do drugs. I thought Shanley was overacting in the sneak peek, but the guy looked really creepy.
Ryan is cute and adorable. I like the fact that he's so open about his feelings and doesn't need to put on a tough act to be a man. He is comfortable enough to just be himself, which I think is a very attractive quality. Which brings me to Adam. I'm sorry, but you're not attractive enough to act the way you do. People keep saying Brittany is crazy for following him, but I think he's the one with the problem. He's obviously leading her on, he enjoys the attention she gives him while he degrades her constantly. He comes off as extremely insecure, and it's a huge turnoff.

Finally found the episode! Woah I just realised how pretty Paige is. I didn't find her that pretty on the show and she was kinda quiet but with the red lipstick and stuff she looks so so so pretty. But what's the deal with Scali and Jaycee? They bleeped the whole thing.
Most of the cast hates Paige but she is really pretty.
I think Scali and Jaycee are cute together. I wish they would date. It sounds like they were getting serious and then Scali screwed her over because he didn't want a long distance relationship but now she is moving to New York.
Finally find the episode! Woah I just realised how pretty Paige is. I didn't find her that pretty on the show and he's was kinda quiet but with the red lipstick and stuff she looks so so so pretty. But what's the deal with Scali and Jaycee? They bleeped the whole thing.
I had to watch that fragment several times and I'm not sure, but I think what JJ said is Jacy and Scali had sex on the plane back from Hawai. Jacy got angry because nobody was supposed to know about it.
