Ummm this season seems really lame. I don't like this Exile Island twist, I liked the Redemption Island Twist better. They still could have done it and had another successful, not predictable season. They could of just had Jeremy go against Val and whoever lost went to Redemption and Jeremy picked someone from his team to go with her so it keeps the teams equal. Survivor tries to switch it up too much these days and this season may bite them in the butt, but we'll see.
I'm sad Nadiya is gone. I liked her. I don't like Dale he looks shady and I can spot a shady person from miles away. He'll be a problem as this goes on.
Decent enough premiere, but something feels off, not sure what it is though. Probst said this season is going to be unpredictable, so I have hope. I enjoyed the supertease at the end. With the strong possibility of someone quitting, we're looking at another final two!
I just watched it and I liked it, I'm pumped one of the twinnies left first, again lol.
I also dislike Josh, something about him rubs me the wrong way.

He's trying to be smarter than he really is. Voting for Baylor was pointless, I see him going out very soon. Next episode is Survivor Sumo!

Yeah I agree, it was pointless especially after Baylor said she wants to work with him. I love survivor sumo, these match ups look great.
It was kind of disrespectful. Baylor seemed really sincere about wanting to work with him, and he basically threw that away. I hope it comes to light pretty quickly next episode and she confronts him about it.
nooo Twinnieeeeeee i'm sad. And their only reason was "because she u-turned someone on AR!... no one else has done that here!" ugh give me a break... so many other people could have gone that would've boosted their tribes strength. Nadiya was actually really likeable and helpful in that immunity challenge! grararghwwha
I did haha i thought they were pretty funny on TAR... i mean they were annoying as hell, but they had their funny twinnie quirks and they were pretty ruthless when it came to playing the game... i liked it.(and i hated that they were unjustly screwed over in the AS season)
(I also know I am in the minority haha whateva i do what i want!)

I do enjoy the Twinnies in small doses. Their bickering can be hilarious. But it can also get annoying.

I think it's good that they switched it up to exile Island. It was lame seeing people throw the clue to the idol into the fire almost every time. Also it gives options for a possible cross team alliance. On top of that, with no redemption island, players will fight harder cause there's no second chances. I know the premiere wasn't as exciting as Cagayan but the teaser at the end definitely made it seem promising.
Survivor really needs to go back to showing the full intros, Rites of Passage, etc. It's not a big deal, but it's a part of the show, and it feels incomplete without it.
I really like Baylor (I about died with the monkey scene on Day Zero), but something about her "looking off-screen into the distance" action shot reminds of an airheaded dumb blonde like Megan from VH1's Of Love shows.
I want Natalie to go home if her tribe loses and I want Josh to go home if his tribe loses. I hate josh he treated Baylor like she didn't matter to him. Why would you vote for someone who has your back and trusts you?. You could say it was a throw away vote but if why wouldnt he vote for VAL, someone who he'd have a legitimate reason to vote for.
Also did the thing Dale took have something to do with the idol?

I'm pretty sure it is the idol. Val's clue took her to the well. I bet Dale will eventually end up on Exile, get the same clue, and realize he already has it.

That's the idol? It doesn't look like it would be one.
I'd love to see him give it someone thinking it's a fake idol and feeling extremely stupid when Jeff says its real lol.

It will be very interesting to see how it plays out, that is, if it really is the idol lmao!
Do not watch the Survivor Live aftershow with Nadiya. She inadvertently gives away some potential spoilers. One of which I'm not disappointed with, but still, after Cagayan, Survivor is so much more amazing when spoiler free.

Regardless I don't like Josh, I really want him out next. Besides if you're going to throw it away then vote for VAL, she's the easy target because she wasn't there
I'm almost certain Baylor knew Josh was throwing his vote away on her and she voted for the twinnie.
If so, it was still a dumb move on his part.
Did you listen to Corinne's podcast?
Too early to say so imo. And Challenge17, why make a clear enemy in Val? The game changes quickly and I'm sure she'll rmemeber that, whereas with Baylor, she wouldn't think anything of it.
I listend to half of it. She desrtoyed poor Jaclyn.

Whose Jaclyn?
And I'm sure Val knew she had a huge target on her back I doubt she would hold it against him.
I just dislike Josh a lot tbh.

Part of the married couple with Jon. She got like one confessional so not shocking you don't remember her lol.

And a look at the Exile Duel. From the supertease, I think it's John vs Julie.

Hoping Natalie goes far!!
Get over it.
I don't see how people like the twinnies. Did you guys not watch amazing race?

I wish they would have used the unused Ancient Voices intro from Survivor: Nicaragua, but whatever!
Survivor: San Juan Del Sur: Blood vs. Water - Main Titles

So far my favourites are Baylor, Josh, and Jeremy & Val
I freaking love Baylor, she is definitley my favorite, but Josh and Keith are up there too.
Josh has qualities that I like, but I'm still dumbfounded by his decisions. I think I'll like Reed better.
