Movies: Horror/Thriller Genre
So I just recently watched a couple of horror/thriller movies with my friends and we had arguments (as usual) about which film is better so we each made a list of our favorite Horror movies...and here's my list :) : 1- Halloween (1978) & Alien (1979) (sorry but I can't choose between them...AT ALL) 2- The Shinning (1980) 3- The Descent (2005) 4- Psycho (1960) 5- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 6- Jaws (1975) 7- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) 8- Rosemary's Baby (1968) 9- A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) 10- The Exorcist (1973) 11- Saw (2004) 12- [REC] (2007) 13- Scream (1996) 14- Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) 15- The Blair Witch Project (1999) I am very interested in seeing you guys lists/discussions of you're favorite Horror/Thriller movies, so feel free to share you're opinion.

And The 1st Wrong Turn was the only one I liked.
These aren't my "favourite" horror movies of all time.. I just find these the scariest ones (or at least when i first saw them haha) 1. The Descent - HELL YES. BEST SCARY MOVIE EVER. 2. The Exorcist 3. Paranormal Activity - don't judge. these still scare the **** out of me... 4. Jaws 5. A Nightmare on Elm Street '84 6. Blair Witch Project 7. Poltergeist 8. The Strangers 9. Darkness Falls - crap movie, but terrified me as a child 10. Texas Chainsaw Massacre ('74 & '03) 11. REC/Quarantine 12. Halloween '78 13. Child's Play 14. The Shining 15. The Hills Have Eyes '06 16. The Ring 17. The Evil Dead '81 - SO FREAKING GOOD. 18. The Sixth Sense 19. Wolf Creek 20. Scream - it's a 90s classic.. and it definitely had a few good jumps!!
I just finished watching Martyrs for the first time and boy what I watched, It was a great horror film but too much for one person to take. If anyone plans on watching Martyrs, I recommend you to NOT eat a snack while seeing it (I did :( ) AND just be ready for whatever is coming. ...Anyways, does anyone have an explanation for the ending. My theory is that Anna told the old lady that the afterlife is sacred and something beyond imagination so the Madame couldn't believe what she heard to the point where she killed herself. OR She was told that there is no afterlife and she realized that all her work was for nothing so BOOM she killed herself. I found this movie similar to Saw and Hostel in a way but very different and unique at the same time. I do recommend this movie but I do warn that it's VERY disturbing. Peace :)
