The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2 - Informed Speculation (Spoilers)

Knight and Jemmye will suffer because Knight will most definitely screw up when its his time to choose a side. I don't know why some people think Wes is a slam dunk to be on CT's side. They're not exactly great friends, and in fact, from listening to his Bus Driver's Route interview, I got the impression that they probably wouldn't be buddy-buddy on a future season.

I don't think Bananas/Nany are in that bad of a place. Sarah will not vote in Bananas just because she is paired with Jordan and there is the Boston alliance. She is good friends with him and they have been training together. She won't and I highly doubt Theresa will either. She only trusted Bananas last season. I don't see this big strong boston alliance going after Bananas. Zach is also close to Nany and so is Jonna. Also after Zach voted for Bananas the first time on FA he went to him afterwards and said it was a dumb move and he wouldn't do it again. If any team will be targeted it will be Theresa/Wes because people don't like them and they will be strong. Leroy/Nia, Dustin/Jess will 100% be on Nany/Bananas' side too.

Bananas will be ok for a few rounds, but they'd be smart to target him early!

As far as getting mad at the other competitors, that seems to happen with everybody on the shows, from the days of Road Rules/Real World until the current slate of competitors. The only time Diem spoke out about production in the SIX challenges she's been on was the last one. She has always thanked them for what the show did for her personally and for the support they've given MedGift over the years. I would love for Diem to have one last hurrah on the show but not at the expense of having to go through the venomous "Diem Hate" that we all saw on here during Rivals II.

For example if CT and Diem are indeed a team there is no way I can see CT and Wes not being on the same team or Zach and Backpack due to Nany and Jonna.

The main factor is diem ( if she is on this challenge) because unlike ct she considers Wes like a brother outside the show.

Diem and CT definitely make the most sense marketing wise, I just selfishly wanted Laurel back lol.

I just find it silly that they're paired together in the same format twice. Like Wes and Mandi and Vinny and Sarah were Fresh Meat partners...but they hooked up afterwards and it made sense to re-pair them for Exes. CT and Diem didn't get back together and break up between the first and second exes...they got back together and stayed that way. I remember in that greatest challenges slideshow (the one where Mark said he wasn't retired anymore) that Jon Murray pretty much said that he wanted CT and Diem to win Exes for the storyline. They're just taking another swing at their fairytale ending. (if it's actually the case that they're paired)

Because they were just on a show together recently (Rivals 2), I don't think we'll see as much of their forward story as we did on that one. I imagine it might be like Gauntlet 3 where they really weren't the focus.

I want to see Bananas vs CT. CT was after him at Rivals 2 and he didn't like him at FA too, definitely after sending him and CM in. I think it would be good alliance war like Wes&Kenny. And both males are popular so that would bring views too (hopefully) And tbh, I think CT has better change with this cast.

It seems like the alliances this season definitely won't be "as set in the sand," since every team has one member that is close with a member of another team that would ultimately lead to the impracticability in forming exclusive alliances. I think it's going to be a season of "floaters," just like the last exes, where people don't throw certain people in/and or play an individual (couple's) game, i.e. playing strategically towards the end like CT throwing in Mark Long to go against Bananas I have a feeling that unless CT/Diem determine who "goes in" Wes/Theresa, Danny/Melinda, Jay/Jenna, Tom/Hailey will be the first to go home. Does anyone have any speculation about what that last team is? rachel/darrell??

So has there been further evidence for CT to be on this challenge besides that one tweet?

It's the love story continuation you always want to see how it plays out. They want the same thing with Danny and Melinda, but they aren't going to make it to the end..

I don't really know why people are *****ing all that much about CT/Diem. No matter what it brings viewers/ratings to the show (which is good considering it only gets renewed a season at a time.) Plus when you think about it, (especially out of this cast,) aside from Tom/Hailey, Danny/Melinda, Zach/Jonna, Knight/Jemmye none of the other "exes," are really exes in the sense of an ex-couple. They bring the drama to the show, and a storyline is consistently created in terms of the development of their relationship even after all of these years. Besides, Diem wasn't on the last challenge, and CT essentially wasn't either given his edit/reunion/airtime that entire season

If ct and diem bring the ratings this challenge needs to get renewed, I'm all for it. then again I hope this whole challenge is not based around them, there's more drama with other couples like Johnny r/ averey, Zach and jonna.
