The Challenge: Generic Thread

Mark has always been consistent on any challenge he is on. At 37, he kept up with Landon of all people. On Exes, he was still one of the best guys there.

I'm not saying Sarah's a bad competitor at all, I think she's solid! I think she just overrates herself if that makes any sense? Like if she didn't talk herself up so much I wouldn't even compare her to Ev/Laurel/Emily. I think Chet summed it up pretty well on seasons, when Sarah said "I don't know how I got this reputation for being so good at puzzles" and he said "Because you brag about it!" She's basically like that about everything lol. I do like Sarah, maybe I'm being too harsh on her.

Overrated competitors: Sarah Theresa (has potential though) Cara Maria (she sucked on Rivals 2 and brought down Cooke with her, though she shined on Free Agents) Kellyanne (also has potential) Ashley K. (never understood all the hype with her) Susie Nany Mark (has to be the most overrated competitor ever) Leroy Zach Jordan Dustin Alton (again, never understood the hype with him) Underrated competitors: Marie Jemmye Ayiiia Kimberly Cara Z. Tonya Julie Mandi Frank S. Bananas (people still doubt his abilities after winning five seasons) Johnny R. Preston I'm not saying the people that I mentiones are bad competitors, but people think so highly of them and I just don't see what all the fuzz is about.

She sucks at everything else, especially endurance. Kellyanne is a really good competitor, but people on here think she is some elite competitor, which we haven't seen yet, but she definitely has the potential. I think Nany is above average, same as Theresa. Totally agree about Johanna.

I know people say he is good, but I think he is one of the best competitors the challenge has seen, he has the smarts, has endurance and can hang at physical stuff. As for Reilly, I almost never hear nothing about his performance on Free Agents, he did outstanding for a rookie.

I actually was more impressed by R than Bananas at the FA finale and he did beat him next day by 30min I believe? Maybe he is going to be like Kenny, good at finals. Frank is definitely imone of the best newbies. I really like him.

I really like him.[/QUOTE] Honestly for the volcano on the second day of the finale, I doubt Bananas gave it his all. He probably had a pretty good idea that he won. Bananas outperformed him on the final. Johnny R. did do outstanding for a rookie and someone's first final though.

Yes he did very well in the final and out pacing Bananas is a feat in itself, but if it was a "true" individual challenge I don't think he'd have made a name for himself.

Oh and one other person I forgot: Johnny Backpack. He has ability but for the most part he's had the benefit of being friends with everyone on this show and going against people he is Cleary stronger than, or people throwing it to him. The only legitimate win he has is CT(and the final) of this past season and Battle of the Exes.

it's hard to say who's overrated or underrated because there can be people who are great in different challenges then suck in others. some people do good in teams and pairs some will only be good in a solo game..and then some do really good in challenges and eliminations but suck in finals, for example.. zach, he's probably one of the best guys in the challenges and elinimations because he's so big and strong but once he gets into a final he's not impressive at all (free agents he was horrible) emily S- always winning the challenges- never impressive to me in the finals (rivals 2 she won but let's be honest it was a ugly final for them, they just ended up doing good in the end of the final when it mattered the most) but then you have your opposite people that purely are good because they have endurance like the dustin's, cara maria's, nany's, johnny Reilly's, paula's-- those are the people you don't want in a final with you because they might not be big and strong but in a final 95% of the time it's not about how big and strong you are it's about running, and endurance

He always performs well on every season and fone into an elimination round at least once. He can't be faulted for having allies as everyone does.

I'm in now way saying Preston is a good competitor, just that people here consider him worthless, which is not. At worst he is decent.

The only guy out of your guys that I think is overrated is Leroy. I group Dustin, Jordan, and Johnny R. together as having potential to be good. They're versatile and well rounded but if they have to go into a physical elimination against a bigger opponent they will lose. I don't underrate Frank at all he's above Dustin, Jordan, and Johnny R. Zach is a good competitor and seems to be tailored made for eliminations/challenges, but if you throw a final at him similar to Free Agents then he will most likely fail. Preston is not the worst but I still don't want him on my team.
