How so?
I think I've heard Laurel & Kenny say before that he is the reason why the final challenges are like 2 days long and involve scaling mountains and hauling tons of dirt around in a wheelbarrow and stuff lol. I think he's ex military or something?
How so?
The living conditions, the Navy seal-level+ challenges. He leeched the fun out of the challenges according to many cast members. Ask V1 about Booth.
But what's wrong with harder finals that are 2 days and harder missions? I love the fact that missions have gotten harder. Cause some have been entertaining to watch.
And as for the living conditions recently except Rivals II and The Ruins they have been fine. Especially with Free Agents.

Cutthroat was supposedly really really bad, and I think it was bad during Battle of the Seasons 2? Some of the cast was mad that all they had to eat was bread, chicken, and lamb nuggets. And BMP started rationing the alcohol which they used to not do. Idk though.
Yeah that's so true! Before the challenges didn't cater to super fit people. A lot of old schoolers could compete and not be in great physical shape. But there were also more team challenges so it was probably easier for the less fit to make to the end rather with pairs and individual challenges.
But it's a double edged sword. In the old days, many cast members were complaining the challenges were too easy. Tyler even referred to them as picnic games. So production decided to amp up their athletic game on the challenges. Where production messed up was taking away phones, internet, and the cast in general being able to go out and have fun. Now they are only allowed to go out on certain days, to certain places, and only if the entire cast goes. So the challenges have become a high end prison with rewards.

Hahaha Omg! Right! I remember Bananas talking about his hiding places and how production would constantly search through their things.
All this talk about RW vs. RR makes me want Road Rules to come back, at least for a couple seasons. Awhile ago, I went back and watched some of the seasons, and found them much more enjoyable than Real World. Even when I was watching older challenges, I was #TeamRoadRules. They are just better made for challenges IMO. At least if they brought it back for a bit, there can be enough new faces to make a Road Rules team with a bunch of older ones mixed in.
True. But if there was a season with the best 14 male/14 female competitors and like Big Brother we choose half of them and production chooses the rest. A completely individual game it could be fun besides a Duel 3. Even though I wouldn't mind a Duel 3 in the near future.
That wouldn't happen because the fans would pick people like Kenny or Evelyn who are never being back. I dont really want a all star season because IMO for someone to be a all star they can't be a rookie, and they have to be really good. The female side for all stars would probably be god awful because the real all stars like Evelyn or Rachel most likely won't be there
The crossfit **** is ridiculous. I would love to be on a show with Emily and tell her to shove her bacon, kale, and crossfit regimen right up her ***.
I'm sure if I were on the show I'd be looked down upon for going biking/hiking/kayaking/etc instead of "getting swole" and taking selfies at the gym...
LOL I actually don't think that would be the case.

I think they went way too far in the other direction regarding the challenges. I think they could've had some sort of middle ground. Like make challenges that aren't easy per se but don't make them so Extreme so that you need to kill yourself in the gym in order to win them. I think they got the right Idea on Battle of the Seasons 2. In that season the challenge weren't as extreme but you needed some sort of ability to do them. Like in don't weigh me down you needed strength(If you were the one holding the bag) In Don't Cross Me you needed Balance, In Abandon Ship you needed to swim etc. And in Oil Change..I guess you could say a Wrestling Background would help(But it's not required). Balance it out if you will. I think it could be done.

Me too. I miss Road Rules. I wish they would bring it back..But not that Viewer's Revenge bull****. Have it like it was. 6 People in a RV going to various locations doing missions and at the end have the handsome reward.

Sadly I think a lot of the people from the earlier seasons of The Challenge have decided not to come back for this reason alone. It seemed like the challenges were always a fun experience for everybody in the Real World vs Road Rules era. Things didn't even seem that bad during The Inferno 3 or Gauntlet III. It appears that the living/housing conditions started to get bad with The Island and they have only gotten worse over time.
Stripping challenge:
Dance seductively on a pole in front of a small audience.
Who would win?
Aneesa is the judge because... if you've seen the challenge at all, you know why.
Competitors
Casey
Laurel
Cara Maria
Sydney
Carley
Linette
Aviv
I'd probably lean towards Carley, but you gotta watch out for the quiet ones. They're probably closeted freaks.

I don't think Laurel and Cara Maria would be that good at that. Casey probably would be too afraid to climb the pole (lol). Carley would probably win that contest.
Nope. The way this show should end is Real World and Road Rules castmembers IMO.
If not Duel 3, or some type of individual challenge where bmp try their hardest to cast some of the best athletic cast members (really want to see ct/landon/frank/darrell, laurel/ev/emily etc go head to head individually) then I would settle for a Team Challenge. I just wonder how many Road Rules members they would be able to get..I'm tired of the usual RW members they pull from..Jas, Preston, Bananas, Jonna. They might need to dip into the Fresh Meat pool so we'd have a somewhat decent cast and quality competitors.
And I too miss Road Rules. I always found RR more interesting and exciting, while RW was rather boring with hookups and alcohol induced fights and the cast just sitting around a house.

I think that's the impression sometimes we have, because the houses look big, clean with luxury, but if you listen to the interviews the cast always complains about how the food sucks, they don't have hot water etc.
A lot of people won't come back because of the living conditions. They have gone too far. They should be able to make a phone call whenever they want like the real world and be able to use a computer whenever they want. I understand taking their cell phones away and certain websites away but cmon let them be able to be in contact with their family. On gaunlet 2 I remember they could use a computer whenever they wanted.
I heard Cutthroat had one of the worst living conditions, they would get fined if they went outside sometimes. It is kind of ridiculous. And now they won't let them have watches to be able to see the time...That doesn't produce a good show because everyone is just miserable and doesn't want to come back.

If they could tweet (of course, production would have to check it before they send it) or go on the internet, then who knows, maybe we wouldn't know immediately who came home based on tweets
If they would give cast members the freedoms they had before, more cast members would come back. Can any of us blame those for not wanting to come back when they have no freedoms, sometimes can't even leave house, no internet, terrible food and showers, and then on top of that have to do missions that are semi impossible for some people to complete. People used to do challenges for free paid vacation, good times, and the possibility of money. Add the fact that it gave many cast members a reason to stay in shape, the older challenges were much more tempting.
They gave them hot dog soup on Rivals 2 lol
Lol Anastasia said she refused to eat on rivals 2 bc of the really bad food they tried to give them.
They gave them hot dog soup on Rivals 2 lol
What the hell... I don't understand why they can't just give them decent food.
Random, but one thing what really bothers me about the houses is that they are sooo messy. Looking at that mess makes me nervous. If they are so bored, why not clean a bit? Hell, they are grown **** people, not some teenagers.
Yeah I don't know what production thinks, I mean what's wrong on letting them having an iPod , use a computer, or just let them go out ,like they used to do on the past.
It's crazy that they are not even allowed to read a magazine.
Lol I wonder how bananas was able to hide a camera an a cellphone for a while during free agents.
He used that GoPro openly so I guess they let him have that because he had that during eliminations and if you see on one of the episodes someone is reading a clue and he has the GoPro out.
