Okay well Johnny took a break on Battle of the Seasons. What is the difference? While I do agree with you on the fact that Johnny has won 5 challenges, he has proved himself to be the best this show has ever had, and has done 10 challenges, I feel like they should leave him out of the loop IF the format does not cater to him.
For example, Exes 2. If they give Johnny Nany as a partner that will be his third time getting a partner that his rivalry/ex was even shown on the air. It is pretty obvious that they are stretching rivalries and ex relationships so they have an excuse to cast him. Its obvious that Johnny has no exes that are willing to do another challenge so leave him out of this season. If Season 27 is a season that caters to him like a Rivals 3, Fresh Meat 3, a team challenge, or another individual challenge then by all means cast him.
But I don't agree because its pretty obvious that you like to pick and choose who you hate.

Like I said before her doing 4 challenges in a row is the most she's done. Johnny has appeared on basically every challenge since his RW Season so it's much more excessive and tiring to me. Plus she doesn't make it to the end every time and she's not front and center of everything like backpack is.
And whether the format fits him or not I don't think he should be on This season or the next. I feel like this show and the audience need to learn to survive without him being on this show. This show is not about Johnny Bananas. It's about a group of people From The Real World and Road Rules competing for Money. Not Watch Backpack walk to the end and win again and again and again.
And so what if I pick and choose who I hate? EVERYONE does that. Why is it an issue when I do it?
While we are debating Johnny and Aneesa.... Tell me why we are about to see Jasmine or her 6th Challenge in a row and Jonna on 5 out of the past 6? Jemmye will be on her 4th in a row. Zach will be on his 4th in a row. Every fan has there favorites that they would love to see every season and every fan has people asking WHY do I need to see this person again??? It is an endless debate based on who you like and don't like. Personally I think this show would get better ratings if they stopped recycling the same people, it gets boring. I want to see newbies or vets we haven't seen for awhile. And these regulars, give us a season off from them every few seasons.
And I hate when they stretch people to fit a theme. If we can't have Cory for ex. (the guy was prob casted for RW to go up against the big dogs on Challenges), then others who don't fit the theme shouldn't be on either.
So have anyone heard anything about Ty and Emily? And there's a lot of talk about Aneesa and Dunbar but what proof is there that either of them got the final call? I know Tyrie tweeted about Dunbar being cast over him but he tweeted something similar last season and Dunbar was not on Free Agents.

I am not a fan of JEK/Bananas, in fact I thought the Mob was what was killing the show. I am not watching for the drama, but the people who produce the ratings (audience,) are. Part of the reason we saw such success with Rivals was because there were so many hot heads/power groups going against each other. You had JEK/The Mob teaming up with Wes & his gang of friends to go up against CT. Then, we see the internal collapse of the alliance, along with "the mob" itself. Compare that, storyline to something along the line of Seasons, where one team (San Diego,) controlled the entire house, and there really wasn't any feasible opposition. The only drama that stemmed from that came in the form of immaturity from the morally debased "new generation." I don't particularly care about the drama or who is on the challenge, but the storyline is without a doubt what causes the ratings. Exes had story lines about EXES, Rivals 1 had individual story lines PER PAIRING, along with the alliance war between the biggest heads on the challenge. Rivals II you had the CT/Diem romance ALONG with the drama from the new generation, (FRANK, KNIGHT, ETC.) and the clashing of heads. Even lower rated seasons like Ruins and Free Agents had (vs.) story lines where it was JEK vs. Wes, and Johnny vs. The New Mob led by Jordan. If you put a fraternity of dudes (Zach, Reilly, Jordan, Leroy, Knight, and TOM/JAY) together, chances are the eliminations will be predictable, and the drama will stem from the relationships alone, which by the looks of this cast, will make for an unremarkable, boring season.

I agree with you. Seeing the same people over and over again gets boring and stale. I'd would love to see people who haven't done a show yet from Recent seasons and maybe throw in some older castmembers we haven't see in a while. I think ratings would do better. Because the main criticism I see from this show is they cast the same people..I think if they stopped doing that this show would be better off.
IF Alton is on the next challenge then maybe the cast will be something like this
1. Alton & Sarah (assuming he got the first and second call and said yes which would actually shock me because I thought he was done. Plus did Sarah get a second call and if so did she say yes?)

By what I heard don't count neither out yet, production will find some way or some how to make them fit in. It wouldn't be the first time.

Cooke makes a living as a soccer player. To be honest, as much as I love competing and doing challenge-like things, if I got to play a sport I am passionate about every day of the year, I wouldn't pull myself away from that much.
Anyways, PinkRose, I'm curious as to how confident you are that the teams are in terms of "locks". Plenty of time for backing out and things to happen, but any interest in listing the teams in order of how confident you are in them appearing?
Mostly curious about Jonna and Zach, Laura and Trey, And Robb and Marie.

I am to lazy to look for the list, but for those 3 in my opinion:
1. Jonna/Zach
2. Marie/Robb
3. Laura/Trey
Anything can happen there is still a month before they leave, nobody is lock until they're in the location in-front of TJ. Any team can be dropped before departure like Adam/Nany 2 days before leaving for exes, lose their passport on departure day like Jonna on Fresh Meat 2, Decide to not do it on their way to the airport like Svetlana on the Gauntlet 3, or get sent back after arriving to the location like Team Sydney for Seasons 2.
Anyways, from those people that keep messaging me asking me the tentative departure date for this challenge is in a month from Saturday (August 5th)

I don't expect a lot of drama from the pairs they are choosing.
Swift and Jasmine are not going to fight - she will play it up for the cameras but thats it
Danny and Melinda worked together fine on Free Agents
Dustin and Jess - she will play it up for the cameras but thats it
Jay and Jenna may bicker a little but thats it
If Johnny and Camila is happening - that already won one, they can work together
Leroy and Theresa - she will play it up for the cameras
Robb and Marie seem to have both moved on and will be fine together
Laura and Trey will be fine as long as Laura does not hook up with someone
Tom and Hailey will be fine - Tom has seemed to mature since his season and won't want to look bad
Zach and Jonna have been on 2 Challenges since so they'll be fine
If Jordan and Sarah is happening I think they will be fine
Jemmye and Knight have had some drama here and there but have also been way past their breakup. They will get under eachtohers skin a little.
The good $hit Exes wise would have been Heather and Dustin, Johnny and Averey, and Cory and Jenny and none of those are happening.
With as much as they amped up Jordan vs Bananas this past season, it would have been awesome to do Old School vs New School, they'd each have their mob of people trying to prove New is better then Old and vice versa
