Its all good. While I would like for them to do another Seasons (whether they go back to the 1st format or the newer one), they don't have to, just have a good enough mix to where it doesn't seem like its Rivals 5: Free Ex-Agents of the Seasons starring the same people yet again lol

Your guess is as good as mine because it's depressing to know people are that mentally slow & dumbed down to not be able to grasp "people who used to do the shows/veterans" versus "people who frequent the shows now/rookies". If anything it would bring back some old-school viewers who've let the show go a while ago (like I should've done smh)

Completely rude & uncalled for. No I don't WANT the show to end, but the way it's been going for the past couple years I've accepted that it's time to. Hell a couple of the castmembers say the same thing, they just keep going on them for the easy money & not having anything else to do. For as long as it's been around the Challenges should be HUGE (despite it being on MTV), but the production company is a mess. From what I've read about they're making the same mistakes with the Bad Girls Club & its spinoffs as well.

I fell out of the challenges for a while but you know the season I came back on? Rivals 1. Why? I heard people like JEK, Paula, CT, Wes, Evelyn, etc. were all going to be on it together – people I remembered watching in years' past.

I know Frank has directly stated the show is on its last legs, Trishelle in her Rivals 2 fit said something similar (now she wants to come back but I believe she's just talking/it depends on who she knows will be there). A lot of the old-school people don't want to come back unless other old-school people are there, the interesting newer people either are one-and-done or only want to do maybe one more (Marie I think & Nia). The rest can't really carry the show & CT/Johnny being there does not matter, evidenced by the current show's ratings.
I also saw on here earlier that they planned to finally show a marathon of this season & decided to scrap it for Ridiculousness & whatever other bs they show on MTV now. The fact that they now treat this show like the "red-headed stepchild" compared to the other shows is very telling imo

Hailey is going to be Laura - St. Thomas boring unless her and Tom get into it. I don't really think they are that great of friends. Watching the show and post interviews I think two things were def. obvious even through editing 1. She ripped his heart out and made him very leary to fully commit to a girl for a couple yrs (Jamie is the first girl he titled "girlfriend" since Hailey) 2. He has an issue letting go and despite everything, he still wants to be able to say they are friends. And no its not cause he still loves her like the show edited it to look …. he still follows at least one or two other girls he dated on Twitter as well. Some people like to totally eliminate Exes after a breakup and others think they need to stay friends with their Exes…. he is one of the ladder

Dustin/Jess are more entertaining than Danny/Melinda...That's for sure. I can't stand Jess, atleast she produce something. While Melinda is just there.
I don't think Hate them or like them production have their favorite, plus they are regulars.

Premature …. like PinkRose has been saying 6-7 weeks away …. they might even decide to change the theme if they can't get the couples they want…..

The theme is probably NOT getting change, they have plenty of teams they can used. Plus they need those ratings, it will be dumb not to do a sequel of their highest rated season in the last 9 seasons.
I can see minimal changes, such as they did for rivals 2 dropping Tyler for TY. Even dropping a team for another team.
The only reason Exes had as great ratings as it did was because of CT & Diem. It wasn't the theme it was the relationship of CT & Diem being shown. Even friends I know who don't usually watch every season watched it because of them. I don't think Exes 2 will pull good rating unless that have some couples as popular as CT & Diem.

Everyone including BMP/MTV , because the first one was success plus people now day like those kind of themes. There was an article I posted days ago explaining why people like those kind of format in reality TV.
Explosion did descent, but WAY Better than the last 3 seasons of Real World (San diego 2 , ST.Thomas and Portland) and Free Agents. Rivals 2 did good compared to Seasons 2 and Free Agents. They are not looking for the same numbers as the first one , but descent numbers that will help the franchise to keep going.

Agree to some extend! Diem/CT were huge impacts in ratings big time which is true, but a normal exes without them will put similar number to Rivals 2 and thats what they want they don't want big number like the first one. They just one something that help the franchise going like Rivals 2/Explosion did. They would sit them down and tell them that it's the last season on the contract , that they need this season to be great in order for the franchsie to continue. I heard they did that For Gauntlet 3/Rivals/Exes/Rivals 2.
