Poor Mark is the perfect example of why there shouldn't be partners with an individual final

I don't like them being paired. This should be individual all the way.

I think every section is timed.

Laurel has zero competition , this is a piece of cake for her. As for the guys I'm rooting for Johnny R.

Assuming Devyn sucks in the first half, it means the two Johnnys will have plenty of time to rest while they wait for her. Meaning, Johnny R and Laurel hypothetically would lead the pack for heat 2 just because they both got rest (and aren't paired with Devyn for round 2). Round 3 I figure Bananas would pick up some pace and Zach will have finally got some rest so it'll even up for the guys. For the girls, Laurel is at this point by far the most rested and should have it in the bag.

I think they just like to group up people somehow in finals for more drama when they yell at each other and so forth.

for a show called, "free agents" i jsut wish the final was all individual. thats all.

I believe they are timing each individual section and waiting for all the teams to finish before continuing on. Then adding all the times at the end.

Free Agents truly feels like the least individual...individual challenge ever. The last 2 legs better be long and intense to make up for this pairing thing..95 percent of the missions/final is going to be paired basically in some fashion

Whoever gets Devyn on the most labor intensive stage has a huge uphill battle to climb on the individual stage. Some strategy: If you know you have the lead after the first 3 stages, you don't have to try to set the pace on the individual stages and potentially tire out. Just stay within striking distance of the leader on those final 2 stages and don't overwork yourself.
