But its not like they can compete in physical/endurance eliminations only mental and strategy and I think MANY teams could beat them in elimations and I don't see them winning missions either. We can agree to disagree all day but I could see BMP casting them and so I put them there. I mentioned tonssssss of other things but everything leads back to Marlon and Derek.
They have a advantage deny it all you want but they do. Also this is a very weak female cast aside from Sarah there's no strong girls
2 dudes especially these 2 athletes is crush and guarenteed week 5+
2 dudes especially these 2 athletes is crush and guarenteed week 5+
Derek is an athlete? Aneesa & Rachel made it week 7. And? Do you really think they win a final?!
They have a advantage deny it all you want but they do. Also this is a very weak female cast aside from Sarah there's no strong girls
Ummm Nany, Jonna, Averey, Nia, Jessica. Sarah is not the only one IMO.
They have a advantage deny it all you want but they do. Also this is a very weak female cast aside from Sarah there's no strong girls
But do you really think they will win a final challenge?!
Ummm Nany, Jonna, Averey, Nia, Jessica. Sarah is not the only one IMO.
We don't know about Averey, the rest are good but not compared to two guys. its still a very weak cast
I think Exes-wise, it's a pretty strong cast, and let's be real, if they're going for an Exes theme... competition is not going to be their main goal. That being said, personally I'd reconsider "hook ups", especially Nia/Leroy and Isaac/Jasmine because they haven't even been really confirmed (I think Isaac denied the whole thing with Jasmine?). But then again, BMP does what it wants.
But do you really think they will win a final challenge?!
Jordan & Sarah or Zach & Jonna have the best shot because of puzzles but they'd beat anyone else there
I think Exes-wise, it's a pretty strong cast, and let's be real, if they're going for an Exes theme... competition is not going to be their main goal.
From how I understand it, Marlon not only doesn't talk to Derek, he tries to brush aside any sign of ********ity, despite engaging in a very public act and discussing it at a number of different points in the season, to try and make his rap background more legit. I like Marlon, but I don't like his attitude to the situation. That being said, I think it would make for a very interesting Exes team. If Marlon didn't quite when he noticed the guys/girls numbers were off and he was the only guy eligible for a relationship with Derek.
Being ******** in the rap game is suicide, so I understand where he's coming from, however his music is garbage and he hardly even gets his tweets retweeted so he's a nobody and is wasting his time. Even Adam Royer sold way more shirts than him judging by the amount of retweets and girls taking pics wearing his clothing line. And Marlon and Derek is unfair as all **** because they're both decent competitors and would outperform any female other than Emily and maybe Laurel.
We don't know about Averey, the rest are good but not compared to two guys. its still a very weak cast
I think Averey will be okay and Marlon and Derek would not win, I repeat Marlon and Derek would not win OMG! Also, its not that bad of a cast and like I said all that could really happen.
I think Exes-wise, it's a pretty strong cast, and let's be real, if they're going for an Exes theme... competition is not going to be their main goal. I thought of the St. Thomas people but idk about Marie, Trey and Laura are kinda boring, and LaToya well her and Swift are a hook up that was never confirmed and her and Brandon never kissed or did anything. Leroy and Nia at least show evidence of a potential hook up and everyone says it happened.
Jordan & Sarah or Zach & Jonna have the best shot because of puzzles but they'd beat anyone else there
Which is fine. Sarah is due for a win and Jonna needs to final see a final.
You can't say it's pretty strong when there is a team of Eric & Devyn, and Issac & Jasmine lol
I said Exes-wise it's strong... not competitively.
I mean did you guys at least like the special and after show ideas?
I said Exes-wise it's strong... not competitively.
But that's not strong then....
I mean did you guys at least like the special and after show ideas?
I did! I think it was interesting and could have people tuning in. Another point to make: Every single Challenge has had weak competitors on it. There are always going to be "weak" competitors on the Challenge. Not everyone is a super human competitive beast.
But that's not strong then....
Yes it is? It's strong in a different way. I'm in no way referring to physical or mental strength or performance in the missions. I'm referring to the history between the teams and the complicated relationships that many of those partnerships have. Which is what BMP is looking for when casting an Exes-themed season.
My personal Ideal Battle of the Exes 2 Cast I wanted to add a same *** Couple , but to be honest it was hard to find any that would do a challenge. I think a male/Male pair would be to unfair. Marlon/Derek I find both to be way to boring. I know people like Adam/Heather/Janelle/Will/Marie/ANa are long shots but hey it's fantasy. I don't like neither Knight/Jemmye, Laura/Trey he is good looking but they are to boring and Danny/Melinda way to boring, Jasmine/Jessica with anyone are annoying. 9 teams were people that were in serious relationships, unlike the first exes. Only 10 people were on Free Agents is not that repetitive of a cast. Same rules as the first one 30 players, 15 teams , 11 eliminations and 4 pairs in the final. My Cast: [B] Susie Meister and Cohutta Grindstaff (Hooked up/Flirt on The Ruins love Derrick face on the back LOL) Trishelle Cannatella and Steven Hill (Hooked up on Real world Las Vegas) Nany Gonzalez and Adam Royers (Hooked up/Dated for a while on RW: Las Vegas 2, he made her look like a fool) Anastasia Miller and CT Tamburello (Had *** on a Bush on Rivals 2) Heather Marter and Dustin Zito (Dated during Real World Las Vegas 2 and live together for like 2 years) Kellyanne Judd and Wes Bergmann (Dated After The Island until Fresh meat 2) Marie Roda and Robb Schreiber (Dated during Real World ST.thomas and Battle of the seasons 2, he dump her via text) Janelle Casanave and William Gilbert (Dated during Real World: Hollywood, Cheated on her multiple types) Sarah Rice and Jordan Wiseley (Hooked up on Battle of the seasons 2) Averey Tressler and Johnny Reilley (Dated during Real World: portland and lived together for a year and half after their season) Hailey Chivers and Thomas Buells (High-school Sweethearts, until she cheated on him and lied about losing her Virginity with him. Who would make the final?
Like it!! One of the better lists I have seen.
From all the challenges that happened on the first Exes tell me one that you think Marlon and Derek could win?
The very first mission even though it'll be disturbing to watch to say the least. The one where you have to get a ball and run up a slippery slope. The one where they're grabbing beach equipment with a plane engine blowing them. The wedding mission. Basically anything that has to do with some level of physicality and endurance. Not to mention how the **** are eliminations going to work? You can't have a guy go up against any of these girls, so are they going to rig it all the time? Marlon and Derek will never have to worry about facing Zach or Leroy in a physical elimination.
I did! I think it was interesting and could have people tuning in. Another point to make: Every single Challenge has had weak competitors on it. Now I'm all for Nia and Jordan being a team to put everyone on more an even playing field but I don't see that happening at this point like I use too. And thank you! I totally thing people would watch this Exes and ratings would be maybe less than the first Exes but higher than Free Agents and maybe around Rivals II which is good.
Not to mention how the **** are eliminations going to work? You can't have a guy go up against any of these girls, so are they going to rig it all the time? Marlon and Derek will never have to worry about facing Zach or Leroy in a physical elimination.
Not every elimination has to be a physical faceoff. Elimination games like Banded Together and X Knocks The Spot were played by Rachel/Aneesa and could very well be won against Marlon/Derek by a boy/girl team.
Here's an interesting concept... What if Inferno 2 was actually a Gauntlet 2? (I took out Beth and replaced her with Melissa to make the teams even in number of girls. I replaced her with Melissa because Melissa was originally on the cast before she and Coral dropped out) ROOKIES Brad Fiorenza CT Tamburello Derrick Kosinski Karamo Brown Landon Lueck Jamie Chung Jodi Weatherton Melissa Howard Shavonda Billingslea Robin Hibbard VETS Abram Boise Dan Renzi Darrell Taylor Jon Brennan Mike Mizanin Julie Stoffer Rachel Robinson Tina Barta Tonya Cooley Veronica Portillo
The very first mission even though it'll be disturbing to watch to say the least.
Disturbing for you maybe :devilish:
Not every elimination has to be a physical faceoff. Elimination games like Banded Together and X Knocks The Spot were played by Rachel/Aneesa and could very well be won against Marlon/Derek by a boy/girl team.
That's what I say every time it's brought up, plenty of other eliminations as well.

The second one no because to much weight would be on the ring. The trivia one no. The log one **** no because Marlon can't swim. The boat one probably not but they would do okay. The lube one maybe The wedding one no The plane one no. So I would say maybe 2 out of 8 which is fine. I mean can they not win a mission?
The lube one maybe
Cracked me up. Don't even remember what that mission is. And the trivia one is entirely dependent on what questions you get. Get lucky and anyone could win. And Derek and Marlon are both pretty quick to be fair. Derek showed that in Hall Brawl (name?) in Rivals 2
The one when they slide down the hill and had to get balls
Ah. One would think "The Lube One" is quite an odd name for such a challenge.
The first mission no. They wouldn't be that fast. The second one no because to much weight would be on the ring. The trivia one no. Do you know how much CT and Mark weigh and they still dominated that mission? Why not the wedding one? 1 decent sized guy and 1 6ft football player can dig and make their way through sand much faster than a guy and girl team unless Emily or Laurel is one that team. Why not the plane one? Go watch exes and tell me who was the anchor in all the waves: the girls. No girls on this cast can match up weight wise and strength wise to Marlon and Derek who aren't going to have a tough time speeding through the air and making their way towards the jet. Maybe if the guy pairs were skinny guys like Ryan K. it would be even, but Derek isn't that small and Marlon is kind of a big dude. It'll never happen.
Ah. One would think "The Lube One" is quite an odd name for such a challenge.
It was called lube me up
It'll never happen.
As much I like discussing the possiblity (being a fan of Derek and Marlon) I pretty much agree. As I said before I think Marlon would scram at the sight of being a same *** pairing on Exes or anything akin. Unless of course he goes back from being JDeezy to Marlon and lets the rap thing die it's rightful death.
