Lol. Preston legit thinks he isn't the weakest link.
He hasn't been the weakest link in even one mission this season. He's performed extremely well in all of them.
He hasn't been the weakest link in even one mission this season. He's performed extremely well in all of them.
But out of the guys on that team, he was the worst. I'd say Leroy has performed the worst out of all the guys left.
He hasn't been the weakest link in even one mission this season. He's performed extremely well in all of them.
Episode 1: hard to say, he was in the running portion of the mission Episode 2: had Camila, IIRC in the top (not top two, but probably not far behind) Episode 3: didn't do anything, stood by the wall Episode 4: performed well to help his team win Episode 5: DQ'ed his team Episode 6: decent IIRC, didn't see the draw Episode 7: bottom three Episode 8: nothing since that team was a cluster**** from the get-go Elimination: put up a good fight with Cohutta, but lost. He wasn't the pushover you would expect, but out of the guys that were left, you have to consider him being below everyone else. And this is coming from a guy that supported Preston this season.
I'm not saying anything bad about Jonna... Jonna is my favorite cast member in the entire franchise. I realize that both of them have underlying reasons for acting the way they do.
oh that is just sad lol
The lack of interest is based on a weak female cast, poor promotion and many other stupid things done by MTV/BMP
a weak female cast...with Laurel and Cara?? you've got to be kidding me...
Lol. Preston legit thinks he isn't the weakest link.
Preston is full of himself if he thinks he isn't the weakest link, just wanna smack my tv screen when he comes on talking like that
a weak female cast...with Laurel and Cara?? you've got to be kidding me...
Well they need more than 2 or 3 competitors for it to be a good show to watch. Cooke, Emily, Rachel, KellyAnne, or potentially Ashlee, an addition to Laurel, Camila, Cara, and Theresa could've been a much better show. But instead we were given Jasmine, Jemmye, Emilee, and Devyn...
I think next season I'm going to avoid all trailers cause the trailers give away so much.
Best decision I made this season was to avoid the trailers. I had all of last season figured out because of the trailers, ruined so many potentially good moments
Preston is full of himself if he thinks he isn't the weakest link, just wanna smack my tv screen when he comes on talking like that
I blame TJ. He gives Preston way too much credit. He does try his best, I'll give him that.
a few observations: - Cohutta you are too nice of a guy and too smart to fall for this twice. Think with your big head and not the little one. - Finally people are realizing that Nany is a ****! - CT is just as smarmy as Bananas and seriously needs to stop doing these Challenges now that he finally got a win. I don't see him taking this one home. - Aneesa is too old and out of shape to keep doing these Challenges. Even if she would have made it to the Final she would not have won ... even Jessica could outrun her! Give it up booboo. - Queen Laurel takes another one out...I absolutely love this woman!! - for the life of me I could not figure out the point of that Challenge...evidently Johnny R's team could not either lol Bring on the next episode...finally one I am looking forward to!
I don't know why the voted Preston off. They should have put in Bananas and hope Reilly takes him out or puts up a good fight.
Why would I avoid this board if I'm watching it at the same time as everyone else for the first time? Regarding social media, all I have is Instagram so not a problem for me.
Do younot realize there are spoilers posted constantly on this board? Not just trailers, complete elimination and final spoilers.
Nany did nothing wrong. Cohutta's just an idiot for trying to turn it into something real. She not someone you marry/date--not if you're smart.
Cohutta seems to have terrible taste in women. First KellyAnne, now Nany. They're both beautiful, but obviously not girlfriend material. Will he ever learn?
Looking back on last night, that Aneesa v. Laurel elimination has to be one of the closest in recent history. Aneesa actually looked like she had the upper hand in the second round as well when they were locked at the middle. It's a shame Aneesa had to go so soon after proving herself now twice. I'm not a fan of the whole "proving your stripes" mentality, but she definitely still deserves to be there over Jessica, Nany and Deyvn and maybe even Theresa. I had kinda counted Aneesa out in/after the last few seasons, but she's proven that on her own she's still a force to be reckoned with.
I'm sorry but I'm not really liking this season (I'm not trying to get any angry replies so please don't bother) I like the format but the cast is so weak It becomes a waste. It seems that the challenge and the elimination rounds take the whole 45 minutes of the time and i don't like that either. To me (again it's my opinion) this season is boring to the point I don't bother to tune in until 2-3 days after the episode airs. BUT I'm glad someone is enjoying This season :applause:
I think Preston may have just been a compromise vote for that team since no one would be able to agree on the guy. Zach, CT and Cara are all working with Johnny Reilly. Devyn, Leroy, and Jessica don't want to throw in Bananas. Obviously Nany has the Cohutta thing and he seems well liked to the point that other people probably don't want to toss him in. Preston's just the easy kill.
Please, this board gives away things constantly
No no no, not this board...YOU give away things constantly

BUT I'm glad someone is enjoying This season :applause:
I think the main problem here (and to some extent prior this season) the cast just gets along. A cast which features Dustin, Chet, Frank, Swift, Isaac, Preston (who is a really good runner), Jordan, Cohutta, Bananas, Brandon, Zach, Leroy, CT, a surprising good Johnny R. isn't a weak cast at all. There isn't really any "true" beef anymore, besides maybe Wes vs. the members of JEKD. Ironic, the storylines that the "new breed" (Fresh Meat 2, Cutthroat, Battle of the Season and Free Agent) should have brought with them (aka the Rookie Revolution and the fight for the spotlight) got smashed in every season except BOTS. All the other stories that we were looking forward to see didn't just happened, because the people got along pretty well with one another. Which is why the show/producer had to rely to natural drama that a rival or an exes brings with it and even there almost every couple/team figured out that they had to got along to win and that gave a big blow to the series in my opinion. People started to realize that in order to win money, they should not create drama whatsoever to have a target on their backs. Rivals (the season that brought the series back to life IMO) was such a success because CT (who was absent for quite some time before that and his recent memory on a challenge was the biggest fight and the best elimination round in Challenge history) gave them a lot of new storylines and he had a problem with a lot of people there, but he didn't wanted / forced to be in the spotlight as Jordan did which is way his story worked and Jordan didn't. The mob was scared that CT might take them out and in Jordan's case he had just a too big ego for his own good. No matter, how this season turns out to be or if there will be a new season, the producer should find a new way to create drama. Maybe lock them in a prison or make a big team challenge (Vets vs. Rookies), because as it showed Couples (Fresh Meat 2, Exes and Rivals 2) and individual seasons (Free Agents and Cutthroat (which felt like an individual challenge since the teams itself didn't had anything in common and everybody was on their one really) doesn't give them drama anymore.
Laurel is a fantastic competitor, but she has an absolutely horrible personality.
I think the main problem this season is the editing. Every episode has just been so... flat. I think that the content has been there to make an interesting show, but something else is wrong. I can't quite put my finger on what that is, maybe the music or how things are cut together or something else, but I definitely get a different vibe from this season than from past seasons.
Yea like let's give the first 5 minutes of the episode to a wig burial instead of more scenes from the night Nany hooked up with Johnny R.
Tamara the wig, or really anything involving Devyn, is a much more important event in my opinion. Humor > hook-ups/drama/w****s named Nany.
I really am getting tired of Devyn. She's an abysmal competitor and her confessionals are all inauthentic and rehearsed. Call me old school, but I liked when people were expressing spontaneous thoughts in their interviews and not reciting jokes that they wrote down and practiced beforehand.
Her confessionals do indeed come off calculated. I think she knows that she will not bring anything to the table athletically or even dramatically, so she sticks to what she can do in order to be recast. Her lines definitely sound scripted.

Anyone else would have failed in his position and he didn't. Not even sure what smarmy means

It's really too bad.
Laurel is a fantastic competitor, but she has an absolutely horrible personality.
Looking at her twitter over the years shows you that, and I think she tried to be different at the beginning. It just failed her miserably.
Laurel is a fantastic competitor, but she has an absolutely horrible personality.
What has she done to warrant that sort of opinion? It would help your case to provide examples to back up such statements.

But truth is, physically speaking, he's second to no one.
