What I hate about The Challenge is that the villain of any season NEVER ends up winning. If Wes had made it to the end of The Ruins and won or if CT made it to the end of Rivals and won, that would have been amazing. I would have loved to see Jordan beat Bananas simply because it's just boring if everyone gets along.
Team San Diego was the villain of Seasons, no?
Edit: sorry I see somebody else already posted this.
Seasons was a horrible season, so I didn't consider it. I'm talking about the actual good seasons like Ruins or Rivals.
You got it wrong. The Ruins was a HORRIBLE season and Rivals was Below-Average.
I hate fair weather fans like you unless by I'm out you didn't mean you were done watching.
Meelz has been doing a thoughts recap for every episode so far, so I'm assuming he/she are out until next week. Plus I don't blame them for wanting to use the CT GIF
I thought Rivals was a pretty good season.
Episode 6 where CT starts talking to Laurel and Mandi has that crazy rant about it, and then Evan and Nehemiah lose in the jungle to CT and Adam is one of my favorites
This past episode just further proved that Leroy is a pathetic competitor on these shows. I have no idea why they bother to keep casting that guy.
Leroy clearly doesn't try. He plays the game differently. He doesn't like winning so that way people don't look at him as a threat and he doesn't like loosing. His game plan is always to just stay in the middle. I like Leroy but he doesn't play the game that great. Even Bananas said on afterbuzz Leroy isn't someone who can protect or save you.

Nah, I love this show too much -- even when it's ******. I'm out meant I was finished with my post lol

He. :)
Also, quick ranking for the seasons since Fresh Meat II:
01. Rivals
02. Battle of the Exes
03. Rivals II
04. Fresh Meat II
05. Free Agents
06. Cut Throat
07. Seasons
The whole Rivals concept is a really good one!
I wonder if they could do it with friends and it would work?
I feel it would be the same because most Rivals II teams were friends by episode 2 anyways lol

Why are Exes and Rivals 2 so high? Exes was boring to me, aside from Emily/Ty's struggle in the game and Rivals 2 just felt like all the drama was from drunken bs. Rivals and Cutthroat have been the best challenges in this era, with FA being third IMO.

Thats your opinion......
All you have to do is rank them like we have and it keep it moving :)

This was Darrell's strategy back in the day. But it only worked because of the big team Challenges. The strategy doesn't really work with pairs.

Obviously, but this is a forum to share opinions...
Then again, this is an episode thread so maybe not.

Making "Rivals" work together is Cathy to viewers, putting 2 allies and friends on the same time wouldn't be as catchy.
The only way it would work out for the ratings department in my opinion, its if it has some kind of twist that would make friends back stab or go against each other.
They can sell it with the line "Would you back stab your friend for money?" Something like survivor blood vs water.
I think it was smart of Leroy to throw himself in for possible elimination because then he has a 25% chance of not picking the kill card. If he was not in the bottom three then laurel could have voted from hill and he would have o go up against a great competitor or get lucky and go against Preston but that's not a chance he wanted to take. I think throwing the challenge was smart because Jordan was going to throw homelk in a ways but it could backfire if Leroy keeps doing it.
33% chance now! That final draw is going to suck big time. It'll probably be just two cards. 50/50 chance. This season has been a joy to watch for me personally as everything seems real competition based with a nice little dose of in house shenanigans.
And RoyLee slander is unacceptable!! He wasn't going to get far with Naomi as his partner in Exes. Then Ty gassed at much later than expected in Rivals II or that's another 3rd Place finish for RoyLee. His lazy game play strategy seems to be working in his favor at the moment, so we can't really knock it yet.

Yeah it is kinda like Blood vs. Water but Blood vs. Water works way better. I wonder if the challenge will ever do anything like that.
Leroy isplaying the game smart it just comes off lazy on tv and he's one if the most liked cast members so he would not want to ruin that by sticking his neck out for Johnny and instead playing the game neutral. If next season is a big team challenge like cuthroat then Leroy, jonna, Aneesa and competitors that are middle of the pack could make it to the end without having to kiss up to vets because vets like Johnny dont have power or many friends left in the challenges.
I wanna get in on this ranking action so here it goes.
1.Battle of the Seasons 2
2.Cutthorat
3.Free Agents
4.Rivals 2
5.Rivals 1
6.Battle of the Exes
7.Fresh Meat 2.
Way to twist my words around champ. I said it's immoral to go around from person to person having ***. Having consensual *** with a different person each week is immoral. I never said having *** many times with one person is immoral. And the fact that people defend people that jump in someone's bed everyday is disgusting, but hey do you but don't go all suicidal when someone calls you a *****.
Let me guess, you're the type to defend Miley Cyrus and the way she's influencing little girls in a negative way because "it's her life" right?
plese take your dubious conservative views to another board...they do not belong here
You can do whatever the **** you want but like I said don't get all butthurt when you get judged. But hey, go be cool and goodluck with your HIV goals. Like I said and will always say, go do YOU. Goodluck with your life goals.
well since you are an "assistant" it really isnt your call is it?? this makes you very hypocritical when talking about Jordan's ego because yours is far worse!
Here are my rankings and explanations:
1.Battle of the Seasons 2 (two hottest gay guys in Challenge history, Frank and JD...enough said. Plus I loved the dynamics and drama of Team San Diego)
2.Fresh Meat 2 (love the Kenny vs Wes storyline and that Wes got his *** handed to him)
3.CutThroat (backpack episode...greatest Challenge moment EVER!!!)
4.Rivals 1 (entertaining at the time, should not have had a sequal)
5.Free Agents (started off good but the moment Bananas started to open his mouth I started checking out)
6.Exes (way too much Bananas on this one and his treament of Rachel ****** me the ef off)
7.Rival 2 (only good thing to come out of this was Emily winning a Challenge, THATS it)
.
Haven't watched Fresh Meat 2 but...
1. Rivals 2 - The challenges were great and very inventive, the drama between most pairings got more interesting as time got on and the cast beside a few clunkers was great
2. Seasons - Loved the format, the 4 person teams made for interesting tactics and them picking who would go into eliminations was great to watch as were the eliminations themselves. Again a great cast with great drama "setpieces" i.e. Camilla's breakdown at Eric
3. Rivals - Pretty much this high for Mike and Leroy. Also seeing Adam and CT make it so far despite the biggest target on their backs made for a great storyline.
4. Free Agents - Loving this season so far and can't wait to see it pan out.
5. Cutthroat - I liked that every team went through some kind of massive argument that spanned several episodes and the Laurel & Sarah mini alliance within the red team was great.
6. Exes - I really can't remember much of this season, not a bad season when I really think about it, but there seemed to be a lot of fodder in terms of drama and cast members
I think Leroy plays the game perfectly. He is there to make it to the end and isnt about the childish drama. I've noticed this season CT is doing the same thing for the most part. Its been an interesting season thus far. I was definitely happy to see Jordan go. I couldn't stand him since he first opened his mouth back in Portland.

Indeed, and I could tell by the Afterbuzz TV interview that Johnny wants Leroy to be like Kenny & Evan were to him, but that was easier back then. Evan & Kenny had the entire house under them, and swaying votes & such was easy. Johnny doesn't hardly have anyone anymore, so why would Leroy stick his neck out just to become two on the rest of the house? He gets further just playing it safe (taken as lazy) so he can get further in the game other than being a target by the house. Say he wins a challenge and Johnny isn't in the bottom three, and Leroy has everyone wanting Johnny in, is suppose to go against that? He does then he's a target next week. He's playing it pretty smart IMO, even though that doesn't make good tv, but I don't think he remotely cares about that.
I find it interesting that a lot of people are ranking Rivals 2 over the first one.
Rivals II IMO really was a good mission. I still watch it now lol
And the missions were good!

While many of the rivalries were a stretch, especially Paula and Emily, I think overall it was better than rivals 1. Rivals 1 was really nothing but JEK vs CT.
