Does anyone knows if the cast was already told they made it to the final? Some crazy bimbo from West Virginia is saying she is on it they even interview about it that video is on you-tube. Probably she is not , since she would be violating the confidentiality agreement on the contract by saying she is on a show. That's really embarrassing way to look for attention lol I really want this to start filming already and air already so we can get another challenge.
Right! I mean why can't they just show the challenge first (January) and then RW in the spring/summer. People can wait I mean its just TRW. Since they will never air them at the same time or start one a month or so after the other premiered :(
apparently some kid on twitter is a finalist too and him and his friend are saying its NOLA again. I believe them 0.01% tho. Id post screenshots of the tweet saying its NOLA but i cant find it anymore, i saw it about 3 weeks ago or so.

That usually is not revealed until they get the final call, or even after cameras start rolling in some cases like with St Thomas.

However, if they do say something and BMP finds out (as they probably would), that could potentially disqualify them from being cast.
Yeah, even if they really are finalists there is no way they'd already know the location this early.
But yet they do and/or did with the challenges...I'll believe it when I see it though.
If they want to see ratings go up even more they need to get a cast like Vegas 2
Yeah because Vegas 2's cast was so top notch...
I agree that would be an stupid twist, but *** sells on this generation of viewers.
Rose, generation aside, *** sells period. What do you mean "THIS" generation. hello Flappers and Marilyn Monroe...
Yeah because Vegas 2's cast was so top notch...
They brought the ratings, it did way better than explosion and it didn't have twist. I do agree they need a good cast in my opinion like that
Since when are twists bad thing? Chubby Checker is rolling in his grave, -_- Vegas 2 was pathetic though come on now it was a redux. If it ain't broke don't fix.
Can we all stop accrediting Vegas for the increase in ratings when it was NOLA who started the increase? Had NOLA not brought in the increase in ratings from the horrible DC ratings, Vegas may not have done so well. So no, Vegas technically didnt bring ratings regardless of them having the highest rated season, it was NOLA
Since when are twists bad thing? Chubby Checker is rolling in his grave, -_- Vegas 2 was pathetic though come on now it was a redux. If it ain't broke don't fix.
I never say it was bad thing, but Vegas lowest rated episode is equal the highest rated episode of Explosion. Vegas cast still did way better without the need of a twist. Explosion wouldn't have done well without the exes and even with the exes the episodes decreased once it hits its peek with Lauren's pregnancy. Pathetic for you, MTV all cares about the ratings and Vegas 2 brought it.
Can we all stop accrediting Vegas for the increase in ratings when it was NOLA who started the increase? Then San diego had a amazing season premiered, then after that it went down hill. Like I have say and V1man have wrote on the Portland rating threads you can only blame the season before for the first episode ratings then it's all about the new season to maintain and increase or decrease ratings. Anyways back on topic, what other twist would you guys think it would be interesting for a Real World Season?
I would love for them to do a Real World: Third World or something where the cast goes to a third world country and instead of living in a mansion, they live in a hut or something and dont have luxuries like every season does.
Yeah because Vegas 2's cast was so top notch...
That's just hard to do. Everybody had multiple story lines outside of Naomi on that cast. That just doesn't happen. And it all came off authentic, and it was just a homerun cast as Bill Simmons called it.
Vegas 2 overall had a great cast. Naomi was kind of pointless but everyone else had something significant to bring to the table. I'm really wondering what new twist they're going to do for season 30.
Vegas 2 overall had a great cast. Naomi was kind of pointless but everyone else had something significant to bring to the table. I'm really wondering what new twist they're going to do for season 30.
Naomi was pretty funny though. She definitely served as the comedic relief that season, so to call her pointless isn't entirely fair. Real World: Blood Wars. A month in, the cast finds out they're switching locations and upon arriving at the new house discover one of their family members has already moved in. A sibling rivalry, a cousin whom you've feuded with, etc.
They brought the ratings, it did way better than explosion and it didn't have twist. I do agree they need a good cast in my opinion like that
I loved Vegas 2
I liked Vegas 1 better. Great season but Vegas 2 was good.
I never say it was bad thing, but Vegas lowest rated episode is equal the highest rated episode of Explosion.
That probably had something do with that Vegas following a successful NOLA 2 and Explosion following the lowest rated season ever Portland... And you've said yourself that MTV as a whole isn't producing ratings like it used it. So I don't think that says much about the casts when comparing those two.
I didn't see Vegas 1 but I can definitely see myself liking it better (I tend to like the older seasons better). Vegas 2 was the first recent one I saw after a long hiatus, and I personally thought the cast was good. Granted it did follow a successful NOLA, but the fact that the ratings were constant throughout the season should say something. I'd rewatch Vegas 2 over Exes anyday
Why did NOLA do so well in the ratings? Was it because of Ryan Leslie vs Everyone? That's literally the only thing I remember from that season.

I'd rewatch Vegas 2 over Exes anyday
The thing with explosion is that it got repetitive once it hit the peek with Lauren Pregnancy that's why ratings went down after that particular episode. In my opinion Vegas 2 wasn't repetitive that's why it's still the highest rated season from the last 7 seasons (DC-Explosion). Every episode was enetertaining and every cast memebr brought something to the table.
Why did NOLA do so well in the ratings? Was it because of Ryan Leslie vs Everyone? People were looking forward that episode. I would as far as saying that Ryan Leslie was the Puck of Real World New Orleans 2.

I liked how they had to go do charity work and all that. BMP/MTV/Production did really good casting for Vegas 2
Why did NOLA do so well in the ratings? Was it because of Ryan Leslie vs Everyone? That's literally the only thing I remember from that season.
Nobody's fault but your own though.
I'd rewatch Vegas 2 over Exes anyday
And this is sad.

You can't say those things and expect them to be ignored...luckily it's friday night.

Since they haven't even started filming RW 30 then we should not expect another Challenge this year. =(
Since they haven't even started filming RW 30 then we should not expect another Challenge this year. =(
It really depends on how they decide to do it. If they decide to filmed the last 2 weeks before this real world wrapped filming like they did for explosion/Free agents or if they filmed it after a while weeks before the premiered of the newest season of the real world like they did from Rivals until Rivals 2. If you are talking about premiered date, I am not expecting any other challenge to be air until early next year.
Does anyone know where the Real World is going to be filmed?
