I just see Mark coming back, Darrell will have the same problem as Susie the younger viewer (MTVs demographic) don't know them. I am still seeing those tweets asking "Who was the old lady with botox on the aftershow" a lot of people were even asking who was Tyler and he was on the first Rivals.
That is an idiotic statement to make. You think this current demographic had any clue who Isaac, Cohutta or Emilee were on the 1st episode of FA? Hell, Darrell and Susie are more known than Swift and Brandon as well! The audience will have no problem getting used to real athletes. It's all about promotion.

One thing you guys tend to forget this is not an sport show on ESPN is a reality show on MTV. Without drama this show doesn't sell simple as that, like I say in the long run who would do more of this shows if they continue and bring more hookups/drama that viewers on MTV would like someone like Darrell/Susie that are married with kids and have serious job or someone like Cory that doesn't give 2 ****s about making a fool out of himself. Who is more reliable for a production company to build a fan base to someone like Cory that would do 4 seasons in a row or someone that probably would do 1 or 2 more and then retired because of their family. That's the way BMP look at it . Challenge season 26 cast members would be something like this people that have been on the last 2-3 seasons of the challenges with someexplosion mmembers and two or three surprises.

I think this ultimately depends on the theme next season as to if there will be surprises. How I look at it is the show needs drama because drama sells. The highest ep. of FA so far was the one with the most amount of drama which will probably help next weeks ratings as well. The show also needs a good theme because if they have theme to me it doesn't really matter much of who is on there because people will watch if the theme catches their eye enough.

You hit the nail right there. This is reality TV and Drama Sells when it comes to Reality Shows. So they're not gonna bother with old-school cast members who have families and careers now. They're looking for the new Generation who provides drama and conflict. That's how it's always been.

Give me a break. Why do you think sports are so entertaining? Because of the athletic mindset and rivalries that happen. Imagine beef between Bananas and Darrell or Susie and Laurel, that's grade A drama right there because they're going to give it their all to prove they're better. Having Darrell and Susie and then 26 other ppl that don't give a **** about making a fool out of themselves will NOT hurt the next season. Every season there are peacekeepers (good calm people) and Darrell and Susie are better peacekeepers than Brandon and Devyn or Cohutta and Devyn. You're acting as if I'm saying just bring old school people back. I'm just saying bring at least 4 old school people for the true viewers and then cast whoever you want (Cory, Latoya, etc...)
If production felt that they weren't getting dynamic personalities then why the hell didn't they start LOOKING for those dynamic personalities and CASTING them on The Real World and/or Road Rules then? They had no problem with that in the past. What was so different?
I can't answer this question as I am not in production. They must have gone through their rolodex of cast members and thought that what they had, or at least those that were willing, would not make a strong show. Their methods may have been off, they may have been completely wrong, but they felt like it was what they needed to do to keep the show afloat. I think a few of the Fresh Meat should've been cast for the Real World and we could've gotten some of their backstory rather than just see them in stupid challenge drama. Diem's cancer struggle would've played out well on the Real World and Aviv could've provided an interesting political viewpoint with her involvement in the Israeli army. Even Kenny they could've played up the angle that he used to be a fat kid with self confidence issues and now he's trying to overcompensate. Maybe as an individual it wouldn't have been interesting but as a counterpoint to other housemates maybe it would've been compelling.

Do you not remember Darrell almost beating up Wes on Ruins? Not to mention calling Kellyanne a hoe in front of her face and giving Brad a new face. Just because he has kids doesn't mean he isn't going to have drama with the guys. Drama doesn't always have to involve hooking up.

I want Mark, Darrell, Derrick, and Brad back on a Challenge sooooooooooooooooooo badly.

Mark and Brad yes. Darrell I just don't see returning unless the theme is like Duel 3. The future is the new school kids.

And the future is whatever will bring ratings, otherwise people like Aneesa and CT wouldn't be brought back over and over.

The future is new school because they will always take the majority of the cast. What old is left his just a hand full and what is popular enough to attract viewers or what will fit in the theme. The new kids are like when Johnny, Wes, and them started doing challenges and older people started being phased out. We will eventually get use to it and enjoy them on the show.
What heat did Susie get?

It would be so interesting so these how these different universes collide. You'll have Mark trying to outperform his son Zach, Cory trying to match up to the legend Darrell, and Brad getting mad that these new kids that haven't got their feet wet yet are trying to put him in. Not to mention the fact that Mark, Brad and Darrell are in better shape than 90% of these new guys and can easily give us 2 more challenges which is the same amount that Bananas, Wes and CT would give us.
Side note - you can watch the Fresh Meat from the first season's casting videos on mtv.com. These are the same tapes they used to audition for the Real World. I watched Aviv and Chanda's. Aviv actually looked like she would've been a good fit for the Real World - she seemed very interesting, fun, and dynamic. Chanda, well... She was about as interesting on her casting tape as she was on Fresh Meat.

Brad, Darrell, or Mark would all be fresh and welcome options at this point since none of them have been on over the last 2 years. It really would be fun to see how they interact with a house full of challengers they have never crossed paths with before as well. I think I'm not the only one who would like a break from Johnny and CT at this point since they dominate the show and walk to final untouched season after season, it's just gotten to the point of being boring and predictable. I would still like to see Darrell and Johnny go head to head on a challenge at some point though.

I think those old school vets could be brought on eventually but not together. I could see one of them being cast at a time just to throw old school fans a bone. There's hope but just don't expect anymore than 1 or 2 old school vets showing up on a challenge at a time.

That's why BMP love younger cast members just look at the latest season of the challenge , Bad girls all stars Battle 1 & 2 and even the Bad Girls Club: 13 all star they go for go girls on recent seasons because they don't care about making a fool out of themselves. Didn't MOLDs or some one else wrote on here that Brynn got dropped in a past challenge over production finding out she had a kid? Not exactly the people that watch shows to see someone prove they can do something and better. If you look at those shows all of them either deal with hookups, sex and crazy drama. Who would bring that someone married or a careless younger cast member that doesn't have anything else going on? Susie/Darrell wouldn't hookup and they would think it twice before making a fool out themselves since they have kids. EMilee/Cohutta brought hookups and some drama that's what MTV wants that's what made shows I mentioned above success. Emilee is a waste of spot on my opinion. I am not saying they wouldn't be cast in a near future, all I am saying don't expect Derrick/Darrell/Brad/Abram/Mark/Susie all cast at the same time unless the theme requires (Legends vs Challengers, old schools vs new school) but I don't see them doing those type of themes next season, most likely another corny theme to bring ratings up. Darrell/Mark didn't even received calls for Free Agents and Tyler got dropped last minute once again, while Preston/Chet/Brandon were part of the final cast. Something I don't get until this day, But I guess MTV/BMP see something on them that I don't personally see... I hope Darrell get to do another : 1. I like him on his shows and he speak his mind. 2. He is an eye Candy ;) 3. Got the chance to talk to him and he is a really good/Chill guy that is in great shape.
Thank God I'm not the only one who sees it this way. Mark is like Derrick an *** kisser and would alliance himself with the main alliance like he always does. Brad/Darrell would be interesting since I haven't see them interact with younger cast members not even on social network. They are loud mouth and hot heads.
I want Derrick, Darrell and Abram on the next challenge ASAP, Mark and Brad not so much.
AFter seeing Abram on Cutthroat/Battle of the Exes...I am not interesting to see him again. Derrick is to much of an *** kisser for my taste and his wife wouldn't let him do one. I think it will be kind of cool to see Zach interaction with him , since according to Zach/Cara he is a fan boy and used to loved watching Abram on this shows. But to be honest at this point I am fine with not seeing Abram again.
I would love to see Brad/Darrell/Derrick back too. Mainly Derrick, he was one of my favorites epescially when he was younger and first began the challenges.
I would love to see Brad/Darrell/Derrick back too. Mainly Derrick, he was one of my favorites epescially when he was younger and first began the challenges.
I used to like Derrick back then , after the island and his podcast...I really don't like him.
Was Zach a fan of CT before he came onto the Challenges?
Was Zach a fan of CT before he came onto the Challenges?
By what I heard his 2 favorites were CT and Abram... He even stated he was a fan of Alton until meeting him on Seasons 2 on a podcast.
Hahaha he was a fan of Alton...until he met him.
Laurel has now tied Emily and Sarah G's record for eliminations at 5-0.
As of the most current challenge, Svetlana has been asked for every single challenge since The Duel but has yet to appear. Production didn't want to ask her for The Island after she back out of the Gauntlet 3 last minute ;however, they did and of course she declined.

Maybe she will finally agree to appear one last time just to get them off of her back.

Who would've been her rival? Beth? EDIT: That also means that a Key West team was attempted for Seasons. Johnny/Tyler/Paula, and presumably Janelle declined? Were Zach and Jose asked as well, anyone know? Sorry, I really love these "close call" sort of facts!
