I don't know if Easy and Katie are on good terms anymore. Zach said in a podcast that when he did a gig with Easy and Katie, that Easy was berating Katie and saying means things to her.

The G3 vets also felt like Easy lied to them, including his bit about being on a stretcher and throwing punches at the paramedics.
Haha yeah he definitely should have kept to his word and punched every Mexican paramedic he saw.
They def should've listening to Banana's and gotten him out, so yes its partly their fault but perhaps big easy should have not over estimated his abilities. Depending on the challenge, someone could have gotten them out. I'm a big fan of underdogs, but in the gauntlet 2 case, the vets were so far ahead they deserved the win. AFTER the evacuation, they still managed to "win" and finish faster.. it's just that they didn't actually win. & why do I have a feeling big easy will be forever remembered for that one moment?

It's called legacy. Everyone has one defining moment that they'll be known for, and no matter what achievements they achieved before and after, they'll still be known for that one moment.

If G3 wasn't burned in everyone's memory then Camila raging at him for just giving up (apparently when they were winning too) will definitely do so. I personally think he's the worst male competitor on the Challenge (but I only started watching since Inferno 2, so I could be speaking too soon)

Or atleast one of the worst
Big Easy just annoyed me because every challenge he comes on and says the same thing "I lost 70 pounds, etc. " ...he's said that 3-4 times already, just doesn't make sense.

Before Cutthroat, Eric was a decent competitor, he won a challenge and elimination on The Duel, he did well in most of the challenges on The Gauntlet III until the final, and kinda flew under the radar on Fresh Meat and on The Duel 2 until Derek called him out. Then all of a sudden on Cutthroat and Battle of the Seasons he is like Public Enemy No. 1.

In Cutthroat he was disposable, and in Sesasons Austin/Fresh Meat/Brooklyn were going to be sent in every time until "the vets" ran out of power. Eric's mission victory was simply because his half of the circle let him win. His elimination win was Can I, which was pretty much a crapshoot. The vet team was stacked in G3, so they weren't losing any missions that they weren't throwing or was unfair for the team with bigger numbers. Wouldn't really call him a decent competitor at any stage of his Challenge career.
Sorry for getting offtopic. I'll post what I made on the Free Agents thread. I put together a ranking of how the players rank each other depending on how they were drafted for each mission. Thoughts? -I know Cara's been a captain 3 times, and this will probably probably drop her in the future, but Laurel being 3rd is weird. Theresa was picked before Laurel twice! -Bananas really isn't valued much among his peers. He may not be the best competitor, but his experience should be worth gold in these missions where it really pays to know how to approach weird missions.
I always wondered why Easy was cast in the first place.
Cara has done 3 challenges to date. The Gauntlet, her 1st challenge was part 1 of a series. The Gauntlet 2, her 2nd challenge was part 2 of a series. The Inferno III, her 3rd challenge was part 3 of a series. This probably means any potential challenge she may do in the future will be part 4 of a series.
Cara Maria would smoke old school Cara if she ever came back. Battle of the Cara's.
Cara Maria would smoke old school Cara if she ever came back. Battle of the Cara's.
They would probably get along since they're both part of the anti-Johnny club.
Uhhhhh Eric was most definitely on The Duel 2.
Yeah he was and he broke Nicks arm by falling on it which just shows he ruins somebody's chances every time he's on the show
Cara Maria would smoke old school Cara if she ever came back. Battle of the Cara's.
What a wonderful world it would be if Cara Z came back. I have Emilee now but still...
I always wondered why Easy was cast in the first place.
I always wondered why any of the Fresh Meat(and Camilla) were casted in the first place.
Weren't Johanna or another team there as well? Should've gone with that team imo
I always wondered why any of the Fresh Meat(and Camilla) were casted in the first place.
It's pretty obvious why they were cast. Production obviously felt they weren't getting enough dynamic personalities out of the Real World or Road Rules. You may disagree but they didn't feel that way. You'd be happy to know that Evan agrees with you. On one of his podcasts with Derrick he says that Fresh Meat shouldn't and wouldn't have happened if production felt like they were getting good people. And they also wouldn't be recycling the same cast members if they thought the new ones could carry the show. I think that with the right edit some of them probably could, but obviously production disagrees.

They had no problem with that in the past. What was so different? And I honestly do think that the newer personalities can carry the show. I think they just made the mistake of relying on the vets too much and that's a situation they created for themselves. I think they have several new personalities that can carry the show. They just need to start giving them legitimate screen time and giving other recent castmembers that haven't been on the show yet a chance.

Its done and over with and there is nothing you can do. Its time to move on from your Fresh Meat/Csmila dislike its because its soooo annoying! You bring it up on every forum.

Bringing some of those guys would help keep the cast balanced and it would be refreshing to see them return after long layoffs. I really hope production stops being stubborn long enough to realize the casting formula they're using has become quite stale and badly needs to be changed.

I am still seeing those tweets asking "Who was the old lady with botox on the aftershow" a lot of people were even asking who was Tyler and he was on the first Rivals. MTV knows in the long run people like Zach/Nany/Jonna/Cara/Jemmye/Jordan/etc would do more challenges in the long run that those cast members that are married with kids and haven't be on a season since probably cutthroat. So it's smarter to build a fan base for those that will do 3-+ challenges than an old vet that current viewers (Rivals- Present) hardly know that would probably just do only one more because they bigger responsibilities and families at home. Derrick wife doesn't like him going away to film this show wife>>>>>>Challenges. The only vets I see coming back Mark/Brad (If timing is right)/Maybe Darrell and Tyler if production doesn't keep dropping him every time lol
Uhhhhh Eric was most definitely on The Duel 2.
O wow you're right. Man I completely forgot about him that season.
I think casual viewers would learn to like the old schoolers if they were to watch and see the value and entertainment they bring to the show. I still believe that occasionally throwing the older/hardcore fanbase a bone in the form of a Brad, Darrell, Rachel, Mark would go a long way in the ratings. I just don't see why they wouldn't want to get the best of both worlds in terms of demographics. I don't think casual viewers would turn the show off and refuse to watch just because they see 1-2 cast members they aren't completely familiar with.

In my opinion now days is not really about the cast, is about how catchy and reliable is the format/theme is to the viewer since this show is not in its "golden Years". That's why the only seasons to be successful since The Ruins in the rating department have been both Rivals and Exes. I am still hoping free agents keep going up, so we can keep getting creative formats not just corny ones. They wouldn't turn it off but Brad/Darrell/Mark ( I do see them coming back), but like I say MTV is looking at the bigger picture for future shows who would make better reality TV on MTV standards (Drama, Hookups, etc) Someone like Cory that would hookup/fight/etc or someone like Darrell/Brad Married man with kids and serious jobs that wouldn't act as fools on TV nomore. Plus Who would do more shows in the long run if the show continue... Right now, unlike other unsuccessful seasons in past years of The Challenge is not only just this show struggling in the rating department on MTV is literally every single show. You know that they are doing bad when Last week The challenge was the second most watch show with those mediocre ratings and the highest one on the 18-49 demographic. We will see what Susanne Daniels does to improved ratings for the entire network. All she cares about is ratings and making money for VIACOM. That's how she gets paid.
