I personally wouldnt watch that, its pointless.
Most of those people are done with reality TV
Good! Excluding Brianna, Brooke and Adam. The rest can kick rocks.
Yep...she's in her third trimester I believe. We'd need Sean Duffy's kids...lest this show be a sausage fest.
Actually we could add Coral's daughter in there too.
Absolutely not. Sean is a pansy him and Montana and Jason all were annoying.
Steve from The Quest, too. Both were half (or partially) Asian; there's never been a full Asian male on Real World/Road Rules/the Challenge. :(
Asian is asian. full or not... smh
Asian is asian. full or not... smh
They had Asian ancestry, but they are still both mixed... There's never been a full Asian male... I'm not trying to debate whether or not they have Asian ancestry... I'm just saying there has never been a FULL Asian male.
I know there was talk of a Real World Back to Vegas reunion...I remember Leroy mentioning he was contacted for it, that would be interesting to see if they would do that for a week or 2. The Heathers and Mike might not be interested
Fantastic! I couldn't stand Marter or Mike-Mike anyway.
I hate Mike so much and I found Heather so annoying. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so.

You "hate" someone you've never met in real life? Come on now..

That was an April Fools joke. The entire cast was in on it. Leroy said it on an afterbuzz tv aftershow.

does it matter? If that's the case Lindsay, Miley and Kim K deserve a reprieve.
They really need to make it mandatory to have 8 people in the house instead of 7. Jersey Shore had 8 people each season. Explosion would have sucked if it were just the same 7 people without the exes.
Or maybe they should just dump the Real World, promote the **** out of the Challenge, and when they want to introduce new people have more Freshmeat seasons. Crossfit is huge nowadays, I would love to see more athletes on this show because drama between athletes is much more intense and interesting than seeing Nany and Camila drunk fight. Maybe another network, a big network, should make a Challenge type of show.

They tried 8 roommates a couple of times, but one of them always got barely any screen time.
Brooklyn - didn't watch it but I heard Baya barely got screen time
Cancun - Derek
D.C. - Josh
New Orleans - Eric
It's more balanced when there's 7 people. Ex-Plosion is a weird exception, but it's more like screen time on that season focused on the COUPLES rather than the people themselves.

Then how come everyone on the Jersey Shore, first season, got more than enough screen time? I honestly think they should stop picking up boring nice people like Arielle and cast athletes and people with drinking/fighting problems.

New Orleans 2 was the worse when it came to having 8 roommates...Erik/Ashlee were hardly shown and Sahara was shown a little.

I personally wouldn't watch that it will be like having 4 corys and 3 Ashley's....Pointless stupid drama. I am okay with a chill roommate that will keep it real no matter what. Plus it wouldnt succeed in rating wise, they need a diverse cast that will face problems differently.
My favorite cast from rescent season was Vegas 2 (Last successful season, explosion did descent but not as sucessful) I felt like it was diverse and we have a little of everything that season.
For starters, you implied that it is perfectly okay to have only 2 or 3 HALF Asian males and absolutely zero FULL Asian males in the entire RW/RR/FM history, which is about 330 castmembers. There you go, you are enlightened. You're welcome.
What's the difference if they aren't full it doesn't matter they are still Asian..... so by your logic Joi and Cooke don't count because they have white fathers?

Representation is important! Here's a simple article I found by a quick Google search. You can search more, but basically, representation counts. It's nice that there's half-Asians on the show, and they certainly have every right to be proud of their heritage, but there should be FULL Asians represented on the show as well.
Answer my question then: do you think it would acceptable if throughout all of RW/RR/FM history (~330 castmembers) there was only 2 or 3 half-black males and not one single full black male?

I will not. Kthnxbai
Exactly. Asians in the United States are not as respected as the other races, and you have just proven my point. Thank you for exposing your own ignorance.

Maybe there aren't enough from California who signed up that seems to be how they pick people now a days
I find that extremely difficult to believe considering that California is one of the most heavily Asian-populated states in the USA.
Maybe less Asian's want to go on the show & "star" in reality tv.I know my friend's parents would not like it if they went on reality tv over university

That's true. They usually go on to do better things with their lives.
With that being said, there still should be an adequately large pool of Asian applicants. And even if they weren't generally "as entertaining/interesting" as the other applicants, there still should have been an Asian male that was selected to be on a season considering all of the token blacks and token gays that end up on every cast. The fact that No-logic could not answer my question speaks for itself.

True. And i'm sure if they looked enough they could find a few with enough drama/interesting stuff going on in their life

The only Asian I can think of that was on the show is Jamie Chung. And like you said, she went on to do MUC better things with her life
I also think they should have more Native American/Pacific Islanders on the show... the only two I can think of off the top of my head are Shelly from Road Rules 1 and Pua from Semester at Sea, neither of which are Real World.
EDIT: Ruthie could count, but she is technically Filipina.
