Unfortunately, the only way he could go home is if he doesn't bring the idol but seeing how paranoid he has been it's really unlikely.
this new idol is bull ****, now survivor is too easy. As ppl have mentioned this is survivor not a scavenger hunt, the original idol at least involves risk, this one just makes someone immune, now Tony can take any risks he wants, if it doesnt work out for him then he plays the idol. Thats just stupid.

The idol will expire at final four, so there's some, albeit slim, hope that he could get blindsided at the end and become the final jury member.

probably not.
I hate the uber idol. It sucks the life out of tribal knowing someone is in zero danger. Especially when you watch the episodes specifically to see them get blindsided!
