Are you sure? The Kenny-Derrick thing was straight from Molds. I think Rivals 2 was supposed to be another theme (Duel 3?), but was switched to Rivals 2 relatively late in production when they couldn't get their ideal cast together. That could just be speculation, though. Either way, they will often ask/test many people in case something falls through. FYI, Ruthie said her rival would've been Aneesa, but they went with Diem. BGC-esque style, referring to how production let Nia fight with Johnny and Averey with little interference. When Nia was cast, Brad didn't want to be on it
No I'm not 100% sure I just heard somewhere, I don't remember where that Danny was originally supposed to be on Cutthroat. Maybe Kenny and Danny were supposed to be on it and Kenny was replaced by Derrick and Danny was replaced by someone else. I remember reading somewhere on here that Danny dropped out because of Melinda.
thats alot did you know facts of original castings declines and alternates of cast members but theres a couple i think they missed like ct was not gonna do free agents but mtv gave him more money to do it anyways wes was not gonna do rivals 2 but i think he heard that ct was gonna be on it and was gonna be his partner
This has probably been talked about but whatever. Since Real World: Key West there have been twelve Real World Seasons and thirteen challenges. Since that time only 6 post-Key West Real Worlders have won: Dunbar (Sydney/Cutthroat) Frank/Zach/Sam/Ashley (San Diego 2/BOTS) Emily (DC/Rivals 2) Also a Fresh Meat/Austin/Key Wes/X-Treme person has made money in a final (not necessarily won) in every challenge since Gauntlet 2 with the exception of Battle of the Seasons 2.

There was a string of 9 seasons (Season #6 Battle of the Sexes - Season #14 The Duel) that featured either Darrell or Aneesa. They crazy part of this is that they never crossed paths even once during this stretch. Darrell was there if Aneesa wasn't and Aneesa was there if Darrell wasn't. Here's a detailed breakdown of how they constantly missed running into each on all these challenges: Battle of the Sexes - Aneesa In, Darrell Out Gauntlet - Darrell In, Aneesa Out Inferno - Darrell In, Aneesa Out Battle of the Sexes 2: Aneesa In, Darrell Out Inferno II: Darrell In, Aneesa Out Gauntlet 2: Aneesa In, Darrell Out Fresh Meat: Darrell In, Aneesa Out Duel: Aneesa In, Darrell Out Inferno III: Aneesa In, Darrell Out It's quite an extreme coincidence that for 9 straight seasons one of them was there while the other wasn't.

Free Agents is the first challenge since Fresh Meat II to have the players name on the back of their jersey rather than the front.
There are only 4 challenges to never repeat eliminations throughout the course of the season: all 3 Infernos and The Ruins. Rivals would have been the fifth had Blast Off not been reused.
That's Sad honestly.
how?
how?
Only 6 people post Key West/Austin/Fresh Meat 1 have won? really? In all of the seasons after that less than a handful of people who appeared after those seasons have won. That's Pathetic and Sad.

It still pains and perplexes me that Dunbar has won a Challenge. He's just one of those people who shouldn't be winning a Challenge. It's like if Jasmine won a Challenge. It just makes no sense.

It just makes no sense.
I don't know. Dunbar isn't terrible...he's just not great. I don't think it's fair to compare him to Jasmine. Also, Cutthroat was the last team challenge. Being a team challenge, "secondary" competitors can easily make and win the finals. Luke would in this boat if the Gray team won. Look at the Gauntlet 2, I know it's the way the eliminations went, but it seemed as if half the house never even thought of eliminations. Not hard for decent competitors to win a challenge at all if it's a team setup.
It just goes to show how much experience/politics/being a vet DOES matter.
No it doesn't.

As explained above. In fact, dating back from The Duel (the first challenge with Austin / Fresh Meat (original) / Key West participants) there have been a total of nineteen winners (two people winning multiple times) that weren't part of the three groups: -Jodi -- RR: X-Treme (The Duel) -Abram -- RR: South Pacific (Inferno III) -Derrick (x3) -- RR: X-Treme (Inferno III, Island, Ruins) -Tonya -- RW: Chicago (Inferno III) -Frank R. -- RW: Las Vegas (Gauntlet III) -Jillian -- RR: X-Treme (Gauntlet III) -Tori (x2) -- RR: Viewer's Revenge (Gauntlet III, Cutthroat) -Rachel R. -- RR: Campus Crawl (Duel II) -Susie -- RR: Down Under (Ruins) -Landon -- RW: Philadelphia (FM2) -Carley -- FM2 (FM2) -Brad -- RW: San Diego (Cutthroat) -Dunbar -- RW: Sydney (Cutthroat) -Camila -- Spring Break Challenge (Exes) -Ashley, Sam, Zach, Frank -- RW: San Diego 2 (Seasons) -CT -- RW: Paris (Rivals II)
9 if you'd count Camilla and Carly which you probably wouldn't. Also about the Carley & Camila, its called auto correct because those are the normal ways people spell those names
Adam Royer brought Carley from Fresh Meat II home on day one on Real World Vegas

You are aware that several people who aren't elite competitors have won challenges Right? Why can't he join that club?
Toe is right. Dunbar is just annoying and simply aggravating and a pessimistic human being who feels he can never lose or needs a scapegoat.
Adam Royer brought Carley from Fresh Meat II home on day one on Real World Vegas
"Local Girl" lol
Chet joined Jon (Real World: LA) as the only person to be the first boot multiple times, right?
Chet joined Jon (Real World: LA) as the only person to be the first boot multiple times, right?
If you aren't counting kicked off for being in a fight, Tyrie was the first male eliminated on the Inferno 3, Rivals, and Rivals 2.
If you aren't counting kicked off for being in a fight, Tyrie was the first male eliminated on the Inferno 3, Rivals, and Rivals 2.
Oh damn, you're right. Nevermind then.
Oh damn, you're right. Nevermind then.
You're right too an extent as well, if fighting isn't taken into consideration, Tyrie would've only been the first male sent home on Rivals 2 because on The inferno 3 it was CT and on Rivals it was Adam.
