Really looking forward to this challenge. Watched the first 35 minutes already on MTV app and just from that I can already tell that the challenges and voting system will be much more interesting and exciting than Rivals 2.

I think to the drama will be much more interesting and real bc alliances only carry so far in this challenge.

Almost anything will be more interesting and exciting than the entire season of Rivals 2. I have a really good feeling about Free Agents. Even if the cast is far from perfect, the format is fresh and, in my opinion, awesome!

Me too! I was so tempted, but I held out so the anticipation could build for tonight. I am s pumped to se how this new format unfolds.

I didn't watch the preview either. I was very tempted to, but seeing all the comments about it being really good made me want to wait instead of spoiling half of the first episode for myself before I can see the full episode.

It could end up being cool, it could not. Too early to tell before episode 1. I'll wait till the final and see how it all unfolds and who skates etc if anyone...I just want to see these guys with all this potential how they fare head to head in the missions, so hope we get to see some of that. the jordan/zach/leroy/johnny b/ct battling in individual missions, that would be great to see every mission.

Yep, I never mentioned how great the male cast is. There are so many solid competitors, once it gets down to the final 7ish I think things will be unpredictable from there and i'm sure all the elimination rounds from that point will be awesome.

The female cast is simply awful in terms of competition--sadly

5? :(. Let me just list off the top of my head who I think has potential to win: CT, Johnny, Zach, Frank, Leroy, Dustin, Cohutta. I think if they all made it to the final 7 things would get very intense.
And I agree with the females competition wise. They should've put on someone who can give Laurel a run for her money because that girl blows all of them out of the water. But personality wise this is probably my favorite female cast maybe ever? I actually love 90% of them so each week when one of them goes home i'm going to feel bad :(.

I am not sure the female cast is weak necessarily this is the crew of females who still will do them. But this will shed a lot of light on the endless debates about if Theresa is good, if Jonna is good, if Nany is good, etc. Hopefully this will show who of them is actually a more top tier competitor. Unless the draw screws them :) jk jk..Rivals 2 really seemed to be set up for Paula/Emily to win, so it's like what do you do if you can't find enough girls to make it competitive?

Disagree with Dustin & Cohutta...I don't think either of those 2 could beat anyone else on that list other than each other
Theresa's the only competition for Laurel and she's unproven because of bad themes

Zach would be tough in eliminations, but he isn't really that great IMO. Dustin and Cohutta are good, but they aren't very tough competition.
I think Camila could give Laurel a good run for her money, but I agree. I love the females this season--personality wise.

For sure! This will most definately end a few arguments about who is a better competitor now that we get to see them compete invidiually (for the most part) and it looks as if we don't have any stupid elimination rounds this season.

I don't think anyone has claimed Jonna or Nany are "top-tier competitors
Both are girls that would have been great in the old-school team challenges because they are small and have endurance (especially Jonna)
No one considers either of them to be overly physical. They have no shot to beat girls like Aneesa, Laurel or Theresa in a physical elimination round.

Pretty sure Ruthie would do one and Avery would, too. I believe it was said Avery was a replacement for someone else which is pretty dumb. She seemed like she would surprise people.

That argument is never going to stop because we'll never know who is the best competitor. Besides. Does it really matter who the best is?

I thought Dustin did great in the 2 seasons we saw him in. I personally thought we didn't even get to see his full potential, so I wouldn't be suprised if he won a few challenges and elimination rounds and narrowly won the final challenge. I don't think he'd be this big beast of a competitor, but I could see him being an underestimated underdog who takes home the gold. The same with Cohutta.

That's 2 other people though...I am sure Emily would do another one too, but she can coast to any final she wants now where she is at. This crop of women is basically the majority of what we should expect to see for the rest of the challenge and the exes girls and maybe 1 or 2 more.but that would be 4-5 differences tops. My point is that if these girls can't make it competitive, their is really nothing the show can do...Theresa/Nany/Jonna need to step up to make the girls side competitive is my point
