Also with these new kids, a lot of them are followers. On BOTSeasons they were talking so much smack about the older vets and when they had their shot at taking out the vets on Rivals 2, Zach, Knight, Frank, Jonna, Nany, Jemmye, Trey, and whoever else who debut on Seasons never made any type of big move against anyone. It was Johnny, CT, Wes, Emily, Paula, Diem, and Camila's game from day 1. The vets even got those rookies to throw each other under the bus. Hopefully the rookies change it up with this upcoming challenge because if not then why would vets like CT and Johnny quit if the rookies keep handing them a fat check each time. So they'd have to have an entire season full of newbies and really old vets in order to have some type of suspense. But they need the right newbies. The ones with character as well as competitiveness. Some examples: Laurel, Cara, Camila, Emily, Sarah, Marlon(if he returns), and Cooke(if she returns). I could see them taking charge and run an entire season with this new generation.
The older cast were followers too so that's nothing new.
Oh I think it was luck when it came to The Duel...He was lucky that Ct got that BS DQ and got sent home. That doesn't happen I bet you Wes Doesn't win. That was luck. Oh and It was Wes's own damn fault that he got stuck with Casey. I remember there was a scene that never made it to the show...He was talking to Coral and it was about why he picked Casey. I recall him saying that he all of the girls left were horrible(Diem, Casey and Aviv were the only ones not picked) and it didn't matter so he just picked Casey(or it was something to that effect. I haven't seen it since it aired.)And mind you Derrick made it far with Diem and Darrel not only made it to the end but WON with Aviv. Neither of them were as bad as Casey was. So he stuck himself with Casey and THAT was stupidity. And winning ONE challenge doesn't make you the best. Katie has won one challenge also, does that maker her the best female competitor?
Yeah but you said those who had a name on the challenge, we arent talking about if he is good or not, we are talking about character and wes was easy one of the highlights on fresh meat. I agree about johnny and paula though, people start to notice johnny until the island same with paula and that was more because they start to make challenges one after another, so yeah people got used to them.
lol Wes ran circles around everyone politically on The Duel and went into 5 exiles on Fresh Meat. Yeah he may have been lucky sometimes but so has every winner of the Challenge. Everyone needs a little luck to win these things. And I don't mind CT and Johnny do every challenge until the show is over. As long as they're good I don't see the problem. It's not like these vets everyone wants off their TV suck and are simply taking up spaces.
Wrong Thread :D

Wasn't on message boards back then, and social media wasn't big so I just assumed they became fan favorites around that time because of how well they did.
Well seeing as Alton, Trishelle, Frank, and Stephen were huge characters on the challenges they did, I guess I'm referring to the other one. You know, the one where Leroy and Mike were puppets on Rivals 1, made it all the way to the end and didn't even make a dent. The one with Leroy, Naomi, Dustin, and Heather were all on the same challenge season and again... didn't even scratch the surface. The editors tried to make something interesting out of Leroy and Naomi but gone and forgotten. Wes(who left an episode earlier) did more. On Botseason2 Dustin and Nany were good competitors, but got tossed around by the other teams politically. The same ones they were following orders from. And on Rivals 2, well you saw what happened with Leroy and Nany. But Cooke definitely has a chance at making some noise but I doubt she'll return. So like I said, they are popular real worlders but as challengers... very meh overall. Dustin and Nany are good for drama though. But anyone can do that. Heck, Preston can bring drama.
Don't put Preston so low...
I don't like Preston he's 0 for 3 with me because 1 he's not funny 2 he's not a good competitor 3 he doesn't bring anything to the table.
He brought drama to the Real World but that was it... Nothing against him but they need to stop asking him back. I always forget he is there.
He brought drama to the Real World but that was it... Nothing against him but they need to stop asking him back. Preston is absolutely useless. A complete waste of space.
I would much rather see Ryan on a challenge then Preston.
I would much rather see Ryan on a challenge then Preston.
I actually would like to see him on a challenge.
Preston is absolutely useless. A complete waste of space.
On every challenge I've seen, there's been at least one waste of space cast member. Even all the way back to BOTSeasons... seriously did Flora say two words?
These are some of the eliminations I'd like to see happen. I left out Frank and Cara Maria since we do not know when/if Frank quit, as well as the circumstances of CM's injury (i.e. during a mission or an elimination). Chet vs Frank & Camila vs Theresa - Balls In Dustin vs Frank & Jemmye vs LaToya - Back Off Emilee vs Jonna - Shadow Fighters Preston vs Swift & Jasmine vs Jonna - Spot On Brandon vs Zach & Nia vs Cara Maria - Reverse Tug-of-War Isaac vs Johnny R & Jessica vs Devyn - Handcuffs Swift vs Johnny R & LaToya vs Nany - Name That Coconut Jordan vs Leroy & Aneesa vs Theresa - Corner Ball Cohutta vs Zach - Ascender CT vs Zach & Jonna vs Laurel - T-Bone Finals: 1. Bananas & Laurel 2. Leroy & Theresa 3. Zach & Devyn 4. Johnny R & Nany
Frank quit?
Frank quit?
For a while it was speculated he may have quit, but nothing was ever confirmed. I left him out just in case. I hope he didn't quit though, I'd like to see Frank vs Zach happen.
Frank quit?
I heard he didn't quit, saw atleast 1-2 eliminations and he was injured in his elimination. speculation!
If Cara was injured in an elimination too, I hope it was against Laurel. That would be an epic battle!
I would much rather see Ryan on a challenge then Preston.
Fresh Meat Ryan? I actually think he's mildly underrated...everyone seems to think that he's one of the worst all time but I don't really see it. He didn't do horribly on the challenges he did on Fresh Meat, and was pretty solid on G3 (he lost in a weight competition to Nehemiah who probably had 20+ pounds on him and was only targeted because he was just so much lighter than everyone else), Duel 2 he did fine on the games he played but lost in a duel where the odds were significantly stacked against him, and performed pretty well on Fresh Meat 2. What stands out to me is how he pushed that log 1 on 1 against Pete who was a LOT bigger than him and was beating him for the majority of the competition. I don't think he's anywhere near the top guys but I don't think he's the bottom feeder that some consider him to be. I wouldn't mind seeing him again. I think he plays a similar game to Casey where they try to appear worse than they are so that they can skate by and then make a move at the end. If anyone remembers, Casey wasn't horrible on G3 because she knew she was safe...she only played up how awful she was on the Ruins so that she would be able to stick around. Some of the heights challenges she successfully completed on the Gauntlet 3 were a lot tougher than the ones she was "afraid" of on the Ruins.
Fresh Meat Ryan?
I think they were referring to Ryan Leslie from RW NOLA
What exactly does Preston bring to the Challenges? It's not like he's fan favorite, starts a bunch of fights, hooks up with everything that moves, and he's arguably the worst male competitor in recent memory, to boot. Hell, he's not even a guy that most people go, "mehhh..." when they see that he's going to be on the next season.
On every challenge I've seen, there's been at least one waste of space cast member. Even all the way back to BOTSeasons... seriously did Flora say two words?
I think in the case of Flora. I remember reading that she apparently sued BMP for something (forgot what it was for). So because of that the producers just ignored her so there wasn't any trouble.

But I agree with you. I think he'd be great if they did another Duel.
I don't think Devyn could beat Nany in a final
In an individual final, I agree. If the final is in pairs, and Zach was her partner I think Devyn could beat Nany. But, we've never seen Nany or Johnny R in a final either so it's hard to make an accurate call.
I'm talking about Ryan from RW:NOLA.
I heard Frank got injured, not quit.
You guys are going to be surprised with the final order LOL Because I have heard that Johnny R did better than any other rookie that had
