Paula just announced on twitter that she is retired so I guess we won't be seeing her ever again since she's now engaged too. I think she wants to just move on with her life Johnny should too and some of the old vets too like Anissa.
She'll come back if offered. I think she's just pissed that they didn't cast her for this upcoming season or BOTS 2. Money is money and even the appearance check is a nice way to start a marriage.

I think it was said that she was going on this challenge but pulled out when Tyler was cut. Apparently her fiancé isn't a fan of her going so I doubt it's based on any bitterness towards the show. She has a new job and is moving forward with her life...everyone has to stop at some point.

That's not true. She was cast this season and backed out last minute. She has a fiancé now and is staring a new chapter in her life.

I believe she is done because Paula has never said she is retiring until now and I believe her. I'm happy for her engagement and it is probably the best decision to move on.

First Averey, then KellyAnne and now Paula. Some of the the only girls I care about this season dropped out, at least Nany didn't so I have one girl to root for.

Yeah, that worked so well when they tried all new people for Battle of the Seasons--hopefully they learned a valuable lesson. Unless, of course, you want the show to end--then this is a great idea.
I would personally love a "new school" cast with 28 people and a mix of people from RW 19-26 , FM2 and A few vets like stated above . The past 3 season really don't ever need to be on TV Again.

But we didn't see half that cast compete before which is really why it did bad! Now we have seen some of them compete which is why I don't think it would do bad now. Especially with a decent theme and a few older vets we haven't seen like I also said!
I mean what would you suggest, they keep it the way it is because that won't work. Most of them have or are retired!

We all know "retiring" means nothing--this is about money
Without a mix of new/old the ratings will be awful. You need as many veterans as you can get.

Rivals does not have be current , Davis/Tyrie , Derek/Robb , and Kstelynn/Sarah are just some Rivals who were on good terms when they did Rivals . The whole house including Nany was against Dustin when his secret was revealed.

Yes, I'm aware that the rivalries do not have to be current. But Nany and Dustin were never rivals in the first place. When Dustin's LV roommates found out about his gay **** past I don't remember Nany being angry with him. She didn't like that he lied to Heather and the rest of them about it, but that was basically the extent of her "anger" towards him. Mike is really the only rival Dustin had from his Real World season. Making Nany/Dustin a rivals pair would be a huge stretch even for Challenge standards.

That's not entirely true. There are some people who have never came back when they've said that they're done with challenges.
And Honestly some of these new kids could be considered veterans at this point...I think it's time BMP gives them the spotlight. They can't rely on these old vets forever.

People act like they're 60. If they want to keep older viewers they have to keep "old vets". They need a couple each season--at least. That's reality. They have to keep those fans to survive.

This is 100% true. Perhaps the most honest and truthful post I've seen in a while. Without at least 6 - 10 of the Johnny Bananas, CT, Paula, Wes, etc.... no one watches. See: Battle of the Seasons.
I wouldn't ***** if they'd completely phase out Bananas and CT. Those are the two that I'm sick of seeing over and over again. I much prefer Zach and, as much as I hate to say it, Frank. Bring back Derrick and Darrell as well and I'd be happy.
