This pageant queen beauty is a force to reckon with -- her stunning looks and tough personality are all she needs to get the attention that she craves from her numerous male friends. A San Francisco transplant, originally from West Virginia, Ashley's bubbly personality and her connection to all of the late night hot spots were welcomed by the roommates, but after some time she clashed with a few of them as they began to question who Ashley really was - especially Jamie. Will the roommates give this party girl another chance or leave her floating off into the San Francisco sunset?
Interview about episode 1 with Ashley: The Real world Ex-plosion best of the week:
If you watch the episode again and listen closely, Ashley doesn't say "my boyfriend's a trainer" she says "my boyfriend's, uh, trainer is the trainer for the Oracle sailors." I can see where the confusion came from, but it looks like Ashley was telling the truth after all.
Definitely some interesting behind the scenes stuff in that interview. Mentions 1:30am curfew and not allowed to talk about production. Kind of amusing when she talks about not being allowed TV, music, books, internet and says "What is this like the f****** 1500s?" I like Ashley but no one wants to watch a TV show where people watch TV. Says she was drunk more during her time in the house than she is in real life. Says roommates told her there was s*** going down that led up to the hamburger toss (she doesn't remember that night) but Bunim / Murray didn't air it and want to make her the "bad guy" for ratings. Mentions they filmed an after show the night before the interview. Clearly she gets along best with Jenny but still not friends with Jaime. There's an MTV poll right now asking "Whose side are you on?" and Team Ashley has 73% of the vote over Team Jaime. To listen to another interview of Ashley, click here and jump to the 20 minute mark. It's kind of a contentious interview with a San Francisco radio station. Thursday, January 16

I mean seriously.

Here's another poll regarding Ashley from last week: ?Real World: Ex-Plosion? Poll: Was Ashley?s Outburst A One-Time Deal? Was Ashley's outburst a one-time thing? No - 95% Yes - 5% Seems like all of MTV's focus is on Ashley for the short time she's in the house. Based on the previews and next week's show title I have a feeling she won't last past Episode 3. Next episode is called "The Departure" and I think it includes the after show that Ashley said was filmed January 9th.
SPOILER ALERT Why does production allow a vote out within the first month? Pretty sure Frank would have been out of the house if he wasn't gay, because if there was a vote would have been 4-2 or 5-1. I find it hard she does anything that is so serious it deserves her to be kicked out. Probably will be an exaggeration just like the burger incident instead it will be you sprayed cleaner in my eye I could have gone blind.

What a joke that season was.
I'm with you on the Frank thing. What a joke that season was.
I am not even saying Frank should have been kicked out of the house, but if production allowed a vote like they are doing this time he would have been gone. It has been less than a month pretty sure the cast will get over whatever she does in a month when the exes come. My reasoning for saying if Frank wasn't gay he would have been out of the house is it would have been a 3-0 vote with Zach, Nate, and Ashley they just would have needed one other cast member (Alex or Priscilla). The reason for Bunim/Murray won't allow this is because they didn't want to look like they were assisting Zach and Ashley into being homophobic.
In one preview clip Ashley (who had left the house) calls Jay and tells him she wants to return if everyone is OK but doesn't want anyone to be mad about it, and asks the house to vote on her fate. I assume in the season you guys are referring to Frank didn't ask for a house vote?

Ugh why couldn't Jamie leave instead and do us all a favor
way to post a spoiler in a non spoiler thread
Well to be fair they did say spoiler alert and the preview for tomorrow's episode already spoiled it. If you watched anything on MTV this past week then it would have been spoiled
I assume in the season you guys are referring to Frank didn't ask for a house vote?
Ashley didn't either that is production saying for Ashley to do that. Have to be dumb to think she would actually do that.
Anyone know if she's stated that she'll do a challenge? She is definitely one of my favorites this season!
For people wondering how Ashley left, she says this on twitter: "actually they didn't show how I left - with my friends in a panamera porsche, blaring rap, and laughing =)" So it sounds like she just took off on a Friday night after partying rather than return to the house with Jay scheduled to return on Saturday. I still like Ashley but really disappointed she couldn't control her drinking and quit the show. And it was her choice to take off rather than return to the house that night regardless of whether production told her to ask for the vote. Pretty amusing though watching her toss her purse around in that episode. She also says regarding the possibility of her returning this season: "maybeeee , I mean Jenny is a good buddy and I only lived like ten blocks up the hill..."
So stupid. Ashley was my girl.
Even though Ashley won an earlier poll for house MVP, she's losing the current one: ?Real World: Ex-Plosion? Poll: Did Ashley Deserve Her House Eviction? Did Ashley deserve another shot at being a 'Real World' housemate? No - 62% Yes - 38%
Eh I'm glad she's gone. Her being a Drunken Idiot was getting old and it's unfair for the cast to have to continue to deal with that constantly.
Just to identify Ashley's length of stay I matched up what aired on TV to the pictures that have been posted. The cast's first night out was Friday August 16th. Ashley did her disappearing act on the 3rd Friday night, August 30th. So she barely made it to the 2 week mark.

She is not drinking no more and have been working out/hiking a lot.  For some reason I would love to see her in a challenge, I feel like she would surprised people.
