Jenny reminds me A LOT of Robyn from San Diego!
Anyways it's seriously irritating me how Cory is trying to make that fight between Ashley and Jamie about him. It wasn't even directed towards him, Ashley was drunk.
That annoyed me so much, Cory brought up his family not Ashley
Does anyone know how many episodes this season will have? I remember someone saying that as soon as the Real world ends, the challenge will be premiering right after. I'm hoping it's not more than 12 episodes so we can get the challenge in March or April
I would have preferred to see their casting tapes in the beginning instead of those staged casting scenes. We all know the casting scene was fake because Thomas was on Twitter talking about how he got on the show days before he left. I also wish they would have got the news they were cast over Skype like Las Vegas because they genuinely seemed shocked on their season.
I really love the editing and hope the cast takes it down a few notches and maybe the show could be enjoyable. If they are faking I feel the Exes will bring out their real personalities aside from Jay and Jenna who both seem thirsty.
Thoughts on this premiere... Definately the most drama on a premiere since NOLA.
The main people so far are Cory,Jenny,Ashley, and Jamie.
Not going to lie, I liked it much more then recent seasons mainly because I love to see the drama.
Can't wait to see Cory and Brian fight.
I LOVE fights so I really can't wait to see Cory VS Brian, they would also be a killer team if they do a rivals 3
Well they go at it twice from the looks of it. I wonder will it be worse than Averey and Nia because they are only showing tidbits of it.
Did anyone notice The Real World comes on at 11 pm next week? Regardless of them having competition at the current time slot it's a stupid idea to jump back a hour.
I'm Sorry but the Premiere was just..Bad.
Everything Felt too Rushed. And these people are so Damn Desperate and thirsty it's not even funny. Nothing that happened was funny or entertaining or even exciting. It was just..Bland.
I'm gonna be anticipating the Exes showing up. That's when this season is going to get interesting.
Overall it was... Different. The editing was cool but the constant countdown, the words explaining every scene and the showing of the cameras in the background kind of makes the show feel more fake than it already does. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it's gonna be interesting to see how the show does, I think this format is gonna turn older fans of the show off. For the most part I like everyone the same, Ashley is crazy but it makes for good TV. The only person I don't really care for is Jamie, she's annoying. But everything went super fast so it was hard to gauge their personalities fully because they went straight to the drama so I guess I'll know more of who I like and don't like as the show goes on.
Also kind of weird how the show didn't trend at all tonight.
I came across a tweet where Jamie tweeted Jamie Chung saying "there's a new Jamie of the real world"..... I guess she figures since they're both Asians named Jamie, she's comparable. I have nothing to say to that just wanted to throw that out there. Thought it was interesting.
Seeing as the other Jaimie was on nearly a decade ago and is so far removed from the Real World universe that 95 percent of people have no idea shes connected... no.
My favorites are Jenny and Thomas, and they had the best 2 scenes of the night.
*Guy goes in for kiss and Jenny just leans away from him* lol
Thomas: Like, you have a nice ***, and a nice body, and a great face.
Arielle: Dude, I like *****, so...
Thomas: ............Oh
It's crazy how high school is like this ultra traumatic thing for people in their 20's. Can't count the number of times I have seen someone break down saying "I feel like this is high school!"
Ashly is making me really uncomfortable with her apologies. Like, I feel like she wants to use sex to apologize to Cory.... and.... she is straddling him.
Wait a second, I know they're putting emphasis on the fact that this is Real World EX-Plosion but other than their relationship status these kids had no story to tell in this first episode. Like I know NOTHING about these folks except Ashley is a disaster.
The Ashley thing was just un-easy. Next morning she's showing her ***. Jumping on him, then in the club, "I'll do anything to make it up to you...." WTH?
This poor sap this girl brought to the house and left in the hot tub. Can't believe he thought he had a chance after she just told him to his face that she wont fight over another guy. LOL at him telling Ashley to smile. This cant be legit.
Yahoo made an article on Where are they now Real worlders for tonights premiere :D lol @ all the old people in the comments having nostalgia and trashing new reality tv
People will watch tonight, but its a sad truth, the MTV market it trying to get edgy. Teen Mom, 16 Pregnant, and anything from Snookie and JWOW will always dominate. While the classics will get thrown in the trash.
Have you seen the ratings from Snooki and Jwoww? They're doing terrible. Same with Teen Mom 3 (or was it 4?). That season got cancelled.
Anyway, it didn't really feel any more fake than it always has felt. The show just sucks, plain and simple. I even look back at seasons like Cancun and Hollywood and wonder, "How the hell did I like this crap?"
I keep imagining this:
Random Girl: Well my mum got cancer and I was picked on my whole entire life, my father is dead and my family is poor and I have anger issues so I want to work on them.
Producer: Do you have an ex ?
Random Girl: No
Producer: sorry you do not make the cut :)

Cancun and Hollywood were pretty good seasons though, they weren't perfect but compared to the later trainwreck seasons they were good. There's something about the show now that's missing or lacking, idk what it is though.
