Well there could many reasons:
1. Devyn actually got in shape this season and performed well this challenge.
2. She didn't perform well and fought her to the final by beating people in the elimination rounds.
3. She coasted by being likeable, funny, and unathletic, so everyone considered it an easy win plus they get hangout with a cool chick.
4. Production rigged it for her to keep her around bc she brings somethings to the shows and has a big fanbase which equals ratings.
Somehow I believe 3 & 4 are the most likely reasons she made it to the final.

I go with 3, and maybe she was in a strong alliance, who possibly took her to the finals.

I think there will be 2 main alliances and my guess is it is CT, Laurel, Caramaria, Zach and Johnny R. VS Johnny B,Theresa,Nany,Leroy and maybe Cohutta.
Also I think Laurel's tweet was about Kenny. Kenny blocked Laurel on twitter and they now hate each other. They used to hook up and I think Laurel had feelings for him and he screwed her over. That is what it seemed like from tweets and what I've heard.

I think they probably had a tumultuous relationship. I thought Kenny disliked her because she asked him to follow her this June, and then he blocked her in August.

I thought the alliances could work like that, but not now since Zach and Johnny b follow each other, I think they all work together and it make sense since JR, JB, Zach, CT and Leroy are all speculated to be on the finals.
