Last friday...Didn't saw it and it's not online.
That sucks, part of me really wants to watch it!
On the Portland season, I think Marlon was the only "peacekeeper" necessary. Pick one sane, level-headed person, and pick entertaining dynamic people for the rest of the cast. Jordan, and Nia were amazing casting choices. The thing with vegas was Adam R was 100% manufactured drama, but the thing about manufactured drama is that it transforms into real drama very quickly, and at that point it's entertaining. He came in there wanting to be like the Jersey Shore kids, and get into fights with randoms, and break ****, and cause drama. But it cycled into Nany cheating on her ex-boyfriend, and ending a 6-year-relationship, and Nany revealing her past with domestic abuse, and all of that was very real. I do believe Nia targeted Jordan at first to start drama, but I think after the pool table incident Jordan started to hate Nia, which fueled him spreading the idea that she's a prostitute, which I think she was genuinely offended by. I think all of the stuff with the lamp-gate was genuine. After that Jordan was in Johnny and Averey's ear non-stop about how awful Nia was, and of course they hopped on the Jordan train which fueled a lot of the fights later on in the season that were genuine. Drama has like a domino effect. I mean Nia's instigation brought out a softer/more genuine side to Jordan, and kind of showed Johnny and Averey for who they really are as well. I'd say Nia made everyone "stop being polite and start getting real". We wouldn't get to see everyone's true colors without Nia instigating it, and I think they need to cast more people like that in future sesons who shi*-stir(Emilee was great on Cancun), otherwise you get seasons where people have their guard up the entire time.
Proceed I couldn't have said it ANY BETTER! Rating good, okay, or bad Nia made Real World: Portland memorable and talked about whether it was good or bad! Emilee was good too! San Diego 2 was a good season, that was when I liked Frank and hated Zach!
Proceed I couldn't have said it ANY BETTER! Rating good, okay, or bad Nia made Real World: Portland memorable and talked about whether it was good or bad! Emilee was good too! San Diego 2 was a good season, that was when I liked Frank and hated Zach!
When Frank and Nia are 2 of your favorites, taste comes into question. But on another note, I've been rewatching past seasons, Cutthroat/Rivals/Exes. And I do think I appreciate Cara Maria more looking back at those challenges. However, I think it's strange/narcissistic that she only followers 30 people on twitter. And she doesn't even follow some of her so called friends on these challenges/reality tv world. I have a feeling that she's just a miserable no good person in real life, that constantly needs drama in her life. So I retract my previous statements of being ok with her winning. I'm ok with her getting 2nd place though.
When Frank and Nia are 2 of your favorites, taste comes into question.
I think one can value the fact that Frank and Nia were the "MVPs" of their seasons without them being their favorites. I mean Frank was on a season where everyone was basic/boring/didn't want to be there. I mean what would San Diego 2 be without Frank. It still sucked *with* him, but it'd be a complete flop without him.
Proceed I couldn't have said it ANY BETTER! Rating good, okay, or bad Nia made Real World: Portland memorable and talked about whether it was good or bad! She'd stir **** up, then walk away. Cancun was incredibly entertaining for me (mostly the dailies). I actually liked both Frank and Zach when I watched San Diego 2. BOTS was when I started hating both of them, Frank moreso.

And I'd consider Frank "basic/boring". Being dramatic doesn't make someone more interesting.

Cara Maria is a little too "woe is me" for my tastes. It's like, I want to feel bad for her but I can't. She seems like she purposely does things to be an outcast because she's "being herself" or whatever, but then she whines about how everyone treats her like an outcast. You can't have it both way. Either you're fine being the outcast or you're not.
You think she's miserable because she doesn't follow all of her friends on Twitter?
No, and I knew some smartass would say that. I think she's miserable because she is always playing the victim. All the people that have defended her she ****s on. She can't ever keep a friend for a reason and she talks a bunch of crap. Paula, Mandi, Camila, Cooke, Sarah, etc...all used to be her friend and look now? No longer friends. At some point you have to look at Cara as the reason instead of EVERYBODY else. Also, only following 30 people on twitter? That's just disrespectful to your fans. Look at Laurel, she follows 13 thousand people. IMO, People like Laurel and most other castmembers are appreciative of their fans and their experiences and Cara isn't, and wants attention by acting like she wants everybody to leave her alone.
Considering that she believes in thinking for herself instead of being a sheep and blindly following plus she was bullied for most of her childhood, I give her a lot of props for being as open as she is, especially on her youtube videos.
No, and I knew some smartass would say that. I think she's miserable because she is always playing the victim. All the people that have defended her she ****s on. Following 30 people isn't disrespectful of your fans considering most "celebrities" follow 0 fans. Laurel's home page is now plagued with probably thousands of tweets a day that she has no reason to see at all because of how many people she follows. Considering I'm one of those people she follows, I hope none of my personal tweets show up on her page so she can see things that matter
No, and I knew some smartass would say that. I think she's miserable because she is always playing the victim. All the people that have defended her she ****s on. She and Cooke aren't friends? Some of the things said about her in the confessionals, I don't blame her. People hardly ever said anything they said in the confessionals to her face on Rivals 2 (see Jemmye, Paula, and everyone else who **** on her). There's no law that says she has to follow a bunch of people. IMO that's you thinking that everyone has to do what "xyz" does and if they don't that makes them a bad person.
If I were on the show I wouldn't follow fans either. I can imagine how annoying it is to get 1000+ tweets a day saying "@CaraMariaMTV my mom beat my *** this morning before school, can I get a follow to make my day better? lolz". Fans are thirsty. What does that follow from the cast even mean in all honesty? If you follow one fan, how is it not fair to follow them all? Nightwolf made the best comment about unnecessary tweets filling their homepage as well.

Paula was actually sticking up for her on the Rivals 2 reunion, Cooke and her are still friends from what I see, Camilla and her never had a issue from what I saw, and idk about the other 2 since 1 wasn't even on rivals 2 and 1 was only on it for a little and I don't follow them (or even like them).... but I think what people don't understand is that their "challenge friends" aren't there real life friends. Now I'm sure in some cases they are, for example I'm pretty sure Cara and Laurel still call each other sisters and hang out outside of the challenge but most people don't see each other outside of the challenge so it's not like Cara's gonna follow every person on twitter that's ever been nice to her on a challenge that just doesn't make sense. I think she's a great athlete and a even better friend to have, she just keeps her circle of friends tight which is actually a smart thing.

I hope this season she proves she is a beast (is there a way both her and Laurel can win?!). She has stated before that the only cast members she truly considers friends outside of the show are Brandon and Laurel (there are a few others too, but those are the main two). Moving on, any info on the final yet? I guess it will either be today/tomorrow or tomorrow/Thursday if it's a two day final again. I'm still hoping we end up with 3 guys and 3 girls, but it doesn't seem likely at this point.
So at what point during the Challenge do their Exes move in and start challenging them to elimination rounds?
So at what point during the Challenge do their Exes move in and start challenging them to elimination rounds?
The date I was told was November 5th. The exes were paired with one another. Isaac and Noirin bit the dust first. Sometime later the exes divided into individuals now fighting against one another.

She's actually the fan favorite by far when it comes to fresh meat.
I've never understood the Cara hate from both viewers and cast members.
I can't speak for everyone but I've only recently started to dislike Cara. She was one of my favorites from Fresh Meat 2 through maybe Battle of the Exes. I just found it a little ridiculous that on Battle of the Seasons she went on about how she should have to beg rookies for a vote because she's a vet and whatever, but then on Rivals II she starts saying screw all the vets, the vets are terrible. I just think that she feels like she's gotten to a point where she's done enough shows that she shouldn't be allowed to walk to the final like CT, Johnny, Paula, Wes, etc., and then when people don't let that happen she acts petulantly. Plus she's VERY passive aggressive on twitter. Every time she makes a mistake she blames editing or has an excuse or whatever.
Cara is immature. She always play victim. I also agree she is very passive agressive on twitter.
I usually like Cara. Having met her and seeing how nice she is in person, its's hard to dislike her. But Cara is very passive aggressive on twitter. She's one of those people who will tweet a lot of things but when she see's that person in real life, she tends to avoid speaking her mind. She was bullied most of her life so I think she hates confrontation of any kind but some people don't play when it come to twitter. It's one of those "say what you mean, mean what you say" kind of things. I think it rubs people wrong that she's so non-confrontational on real life but a little more sassy on twitter. I still think Cara is one of the sweetest cast members ever, but she's a product of a harsh childhood and it's made her a little socially awkward.

And to clarify by "dislike" I only mean that I dislike her MTV persona that I see on the show/twitter/press stuff. I don't know her to dislike her as a person, and I'd probably bet that she's great in real life. Maybe I should rephrase and say that, similarly to how I feel about Wes, Frank, and Nia, I dislike the way she acts on the show.
Cara isn't hated at all when it comes to viewers. She's actually the fan favorite by far when it comes to fresh meat.
By viewers, I really meant citizens of Vevmo, she gets a lot of hate on here. I love Cara, but I will not try to cover up her flaws. She is very passive aggressive in her tweets at times, she does blow things out of proportion. But I like the fact that no matter how much hell she gets from other cast members, she keeps coming back. Hopefully with Laurel by her side we see the real CM on this challenge. Oh, I did forget that I hate when she ******* about going in. I'd rather go in an elimination and kick *** than waste breath whining over it.

PinkRose mentioned hearing about a format but it sounded too confusing. Maybe it isn't an individual challenge. I really wouldn't be surprised either way!
