I think they will find a way around it. Jamie (new orleans) wasn't actually a rookie in gauntlet 2, he should have been on the vets team, but they still considered him a rookie bc his first challenge had no eliminations or something like that.

The first Ruins was a disaster because of the way things became controlled and what happened off-camera. This time neither of them are there so it would be much better and more balanced now.

I loved the ruins. Honestly if it had been closer competition wise, it would have been more watchable. But I would still rank it over many of the other challenges. I think this Challenge will be good, they casted almost nothing but hot heads.
it may be a similar format but I highly doubt it will be titled "the Ruins"...the reason it had that name is because Thailand is known for their ancient ruins, Uruguay is not famous for that
I think if we are going to see a throwback to an earlier format it would be Gauntlet since its the 25th anniversary I could see them bringing back one of their most popular formats

Balanced? Don't really think so. I mean look who has gone home. Nothing but Rookies. If this really is Vets vs Rooks then we may be in for another unbalanced season. I think the only way this season is probably going to be good is if the Veterans Turn into one giant Cluster**** of a team in the Vein of THE Road Rules Team on the Original Battle of the Seasons, The Bad ***** on the Inferno 2, Or The Women's Team on BOTH Battle of the Seasons. Or **** The Veteran Team on the Gauntlet 3.

The cast did start out more balanced the Ruins, Debut.
Lex, I've heard it confirmed that we've been accurate with Dustin, Frank, Jemmye, and Nia. Eric was never there and Emilee has obviously gone home. We are just missing who the guy is that would have gone home 3rd if it has not happened yet. Someone has been very careful not to be on social media after they left.

I called it that Bunim/Murray was pulling one over on us as soon as Nia's elimination was announced. The girls side is just too weak for that to happen. Nia, Frank, and Dustin all out first was just too fishy.

well not 100... He never really was on my radar,bc he wasn't that interested and was doing well with his job... as for Isaac his name that was brought up to me, but I have no intel on him, so I threw his name out there..
As for the format... big teams challenge was planned from the get go, I believe. But certainly not Duel.
As for the theme.... Knowing the wast majority of the cast and the pre-season alliances, V vs R makes the most sense....

Yeah, because Nia have proved herself before to be a beast on competition -.- she is an unproven and she can end sucking at this, so it wouldn't surprise me if she is home or get sent home sometime...I don't know why she would sent someone to follow a bunch of athletes on twitter and also follow someone on instagram.
Dustin is 100% out I don't think that was a wrong sighting at all, he was spotted by 2 different people at the same bar in New Orleans. Plus his friend (The one that slept with Cooke on Vegas 2) posted a picture with him from Halloween night.
Jemmye/Emileee/Frank/Nia are the one that seem fishy, but we know that atleast 6 people are home by now.

Keep in mind that Jonna did followed Nany on Rivals 2 and it was way before their elimination...It was even before Zach/Trey being eliminated. I remember V1man did said back then, that cast members were sneaky especially on the days they had to do cast interviews, which is on their free days. Nia/Emilee can be one of those cases (But the thing about Nia, idk why she would followed a bunch of athletes, like you I think both of them are out).
Dustin for me is 100% confirm out being spotted and being tagged in hallowed pictures.
Jemmye is 99.9% being spotted, friend writing about seeing her in halloween and Scooter (work for MTV) tweeting about if she was coming to NY.
Frank yeah he was spotted, but lexxblair said he was still there during Halloween...He was spotted in nYC a day before halloween by a waitress (her twitter, seem pretty legit).
So lets say Preston is the other Male. Preston could be put on the rookies team, and I could imagine that during the intro scene of the show TJ is explaining the format of being Vets vs Rooks, vets at three or more challenge appearances, Rookies 2 or less (coming in). But then they split up and realize that the vets guy team would have one less than the rookie guys, and then TJ says something like "Cohutta, I know you've only done 2 challenges, but lets face it, you're not a rookie, **** you don't even know anyone on that rookie team. You're a vet bro. Go join the Red team." *applause from the Vets team led by Johnny Bananas*

That's very true that they are sneaky, some cast members have admitted to sneaking their phones in the house and stuff like that. They get caught eventually, but they do, do it.

TBH, I think CT was telling the truth. People may have negative opinions of him, but I think he's basically an honest guy. He is the character on the challenges, but once they are over, he's back to being Chris who leaves the drama and negativity behind him unlike some others. Frank, for instance, who brought CT's name up in every interview he had after the challenge and constantly on twitter. Chris never responded, that I saw, to any of the tweets that were so offensive that it made me question Frank's character more than anyone else's. He has a lot of growing up to do, and maybe that's the difference, Chris has learned over the years and may be overlooking most of this drama because he has lived it.
As far as people wanting the vets to retire or not do a challenge, that have only so many more that they can do...So, yeah, if I wanted to do one and felt that I could handle it I would definitely do it. Where else are you going to get a lump sum of money in such a short time?
