I get what you guys are saying. But shows like the Bachelor, survivor, big brother, are very popular shows. I can ask someone my age about the current cast of big brother but nobody knows who Frank Sweeney is, unless your a diehard fan of the show (like must of us here) or someone in high school. The glory days of this show are over.
So it's not like, a spinoff to DuckTales?
LOL i wish i culd like ur post more than once. funniest **** ive ever read

DO NOT SAY THAT! Saying it makes it true. :(
I agree. This show's best days are behind it and honestly, That's been the case for quite some time now.
if thay were smart they wuldve casted nia with avery. she revived trw just look @ the ratings on her episodes and how many ppl talked about her!
Apparently Averey wasn't available.
Avery was but nia needed to work on her book so they got Jess and Anastasia
Avery was but nia needed to work on her book so they got Jess and Anastasia
Hmm, your delivery was a bit lacking. It is best to go with the punchline at the very end: "They got Jess and Anastasia because...*wait for it*...Nia needed to work on her book."
I doubt Averey wants anything to do with the show anymore. Anyway, those two being on this season wouldn't make a difference (though I would love to see the dynamic). You have CT and Diem on here, two of the most popular challengers...
hahahahhahah oh no. frank was actually bearable this season. lets not change that now
So we Get a Showdown Between Jordan and Frank. Awesome. I'm down to see it.
frank was actually bearable this season.
We're watching a different show
I really hope the ratings pick up, but holy hell this has been one of the worst seasons in recent memory. Where's the politics? It's all falling into place so predictably. The only upside is the elimination ideas are getting a lot better (with the exception of the the dumb blindfolded stick one). I'm sticking it out because I truly love this show but I can't take it this season.

They really need to put out a 2 team only challenge like the Gauntlet or just give us a Duel 3 already. pair challenges are old and we have had them back to back to back to back (Rivals, Ex's, BOTS (eliminations were pairs), Rivals 2).
Duck Dynasty blowing up on twitter tonight. I didn't spot a single challenge trend.
Duck Dynasty blowing up on twitter tonight. I get it that you guys are trying to rub it in but trending on twitter doesn't mean anything. For instance... Portland trended a lot and even Rivals 2 but did that mean it would get 11 million views?

I find it interesting to see that if Rivals has 3 or 4 trends up, what the ratings numbers that come in the following day will look like. In the little bit that I have seen, there may be a very weak correlation but it's nothing I would stake anything on. More of a personal musing I like to engage in. Question, is Honey Boo Boo a repeat or new last night cause those ratings were in the challenge range. Has the show just fallen off that tremendously or am I missing something?

And that wasn't even a premiere or finale
Battle of the Seasons 2 Was better than this challenge.
Really? I like this challenge. Very predictable, but overall interesting. They need to change the voting process. To predictable. Remember the gold old days when you didn't need a small alliance to run the game to the end?
Yes and I miss those days.
Good* I sounds so dumb with this iPad. Lol.
Yes and I miss those days.
The Challenges have been run by alliances as far back as they go
The Challenges have been run by alliances as far back as they go
True. But the alliances were far more entertaining and/or likable back then.
Battle of the Seasons 2 Was better than this challenge.
I thought BotS2 was good for a transitional challenge, meaning it established some characters & got us some new faces and new threats (kind of like Fresh Meat but without the 14 new people, but instead using who they have). But overall, it was a crummy challenge. Rivals 2 hasn't topped Rivals 1 to me as of yet, but to me, it's way better than BOTS2.
Did anyone watch the VMAs? If so, how many commercials for Rivals 2 were there?

But yeah, Rivals 2 has already topped BOTS2 with just the first episode lol. I wish we could go back to the Duel 1 or Gauntlet 3 days where challenges were tough as hell. (The ice resistance challenge in G3, the dreadful chained final of G3, that baton wrestling elimination in Duel 1, jumping from balcony to balcony collecting flags from Duel 1, etc...)
