Oh I'm pretty sure they're awesome people in real life. But as far as the challenges go all they do is just take up space IMO( with a few exceptions.)
And I didn't like the concept either.
replace "they do" with "JEK" and you'd would be on point.
I want to sympathize with Eric, and certainly do to an extent. What happened to him on G3 was unfortunate, and must have been awful to live through/with, and could have happened to anyone truthfully. What I take issue with however, is the pouting and entitlement he displayed afterwards, especially on CutThroat and somewhat on BotSeasons. On team challenges, rookies are thrown to the wolves because they're an unknown commodity, Eric's proven to be a worse than an unknown, he's solely responsible for losing a lot of people a victory on G3. I was sort of baffled he would take issue with John's decision to repeatedly throw him in elimination rounds to protect Ty, and the stink he made out of the issue. Him quitting on Camila (although in his defense I'm sure she was very abrasive and hard to deal with) was also a low point, and frustrating to watch because he robbed his partner a chance at victory.
****, What entitlement? This isn't the infamous 3 we're talking about here....as for the victory. they could've just went without him to the finish line or at least put a c;lause in the rules that one person "shouldn't hold them down". I missed the G3 finale but read mad summaries about it and the Big Easy situation so I may be foggy on certain aspects but it's really sad when more people care about their pockets than a person's health. Peter Griffin voice: Prioritieeeeees.
P.S. if it was even that big a deal much less serious they should've picked his *** up like they did Susie half a year later.
What does that even mean?
I bet it came from the same place as "Ratchet" I have that word too.
LMAO, What entitlement?
You didn't think Eric came across as acerbic and whiny regarding the blue team's decision to throw him in on CutThroat? He lobbied to have Ty thrown in solely on the basis he was a rookie, and that'd be somewhat justified if Eric hadn't already **** the bed the in a major way a few challenges prior. This is one of those cases where the blue team was completely justified in doing what they did, Eric wasn't helping them in the daily missions, and if he couldn't handle the G3 final mission, there's no way he would have survived the CutThroat one.
This isn't the infamous 3 we're talking about here....
The only way any of those three apply to this scenario is John essentially controlling the blue team's decisions on CutThroat, I think he made the right choice with Eric all things considered.

The veterans finished the final mission ahead of the rookies on G3, even with the Eric debacle, unfortunately there was a specific clause that one person could hold them down, not the opposite. I think it was cause there was some sort of sponsored US Army theme to the final, and they have a no man left behind policy.
The priorities thing doesn't apply here either, everybody there was concerned for Eric the moment he went down on G3, and they tended to him until medical personnel arrived but what does that have to do with the future challenges he's been on? I think it's justified that fellow cast members wouldn't have a lot of faith in Eric's ability to compete, and he shouldn't take it personally, but he did/does, which is where my issue with him came from.
Also I think they revealed on the G3 reunion that Evan and someone else did actually carry Eric for a stretch of the final as well.
Okay... Eric is not on this Challenge(thank god) and he certainly is not part of this team...
but just to put this out there...
...in that elimination round on Seasons, Camila was nothing but supporative of him (she even told him to take a break- which he did)-Camila was one single tile away from completing the puzzle, while Devyn was only half way through, despite Eric already taking a break.... it was when Camila asked him whether he can go again that he decided to quit....
"rumor" has it that he DQed because he wanted Devyn to win and he knew that no matter how long his break is going to be, Dev/JD were not going to overtake them....
that's why it was a ratty move.... he did not do quit bc he couldn't physically bring himself to go into the water one more freaking time, but because he came into arena, with the intention to throw it anyway...

Even if this is a lost cause, half of the RW cast last season, didn't? Ashley, Sam, CJ, Derek, Robb, Laura, Trey, etc. It goes on and on. Camila is one of the better girls who does challenges these days with Laurel, Emily, and maybe Sarah being better than her. She always brings something to a season:
Cutthroat: Sent in to the Gulag multiple times, relationship with Johnny, fought with her entire veteran team.
Rivals 1: Had the huge fight with Jasmine/Jonna.
Exes: Had a huge meltdown against Johnny.
Seasons: Had the whole "stuck with Eric" storyline, fought with the new kids cast (San Diego and NOLA), and had another metldown when Eric quit.
She's been a bit more quiet this season, but it looks like we see more of her later.
I feel like we're never gonna see Jemmye standout as a competitor on her own. She's instigating drama and having meltdowns but we have yet to see what she can do.

Or, alternatively, you are seeking exactly what she can do.
I feel like this is a pretty solid team for the girl's side obviously no where near Paula/Emily. Camila has proven to be a good competitor and I think Jemmye is better than what people think and what she comes off as. I think she is just portrayed as this drunk mess that it outshines her athleticism. I'm not saying she is a great competitor but better than how it seems.
Not a bad team and a strong team in eliminations but jemmye completing a final i just cant see it ..questionable stamina.. I hope they go far but id like to see nany in a final too nany jonna in an endurance final could compete
Jemmye should focus on better her self athletically and wining challenges rather than just start pointless drama. However, MTV probably brought her on for just that to bring the drama. lol

I honestly wanted to cry for Camila on that episode, especially when she tried to even finish the elimination by herself. I felt so bad for her. Yes, she is a loud mouth, but she genuinely was giving her all, and eric really quit bc he didn't want to send Devyn home and didn't want to be there anymore. Weren't there reports of camila/eric actually beating devyn/JD but when eric noticed, that's when he threw in the towel?

Like I said Camila had only 1 tile to switch and Devyn was only halway through.... quitting was the only way Eric could make sure that D stayed... they were that far behind...

wait how do you know this ? from what big easy said after he quit, he made it out to be like they were fighting a losing battle
wait how do you know this ? from what big easy said after he quit, he made it out to be like they were fighting a losing battle
Every single other cast member watching(on podcasts, afterbuzz, interviews, spreecast) said this and Camila herself.
That is some screwed up **** then, I had no idea, that makes it even worst because I though big easy quit because he and Camila were already losing but the fact that they were close to winning and about to win and he just quit to save devyn? uhh makes me sick to my stomach especially when this is the same guy who send Wes packing, he might as well had just quit the first day then . I don't get why they didn't talk about this on the show, they should have since its pretty signfiance. I'am going to look up the afterbuzz shows and see what I can find. Thanks

On Afterbuzz it was Trey talking about them being so close to winning...(probably episode 5 aftershow)
I was pretty indifferent on Camila/Jemmye when this season started, but they've been growing on me. I loved Jemmye on her Real World season. I'm starting to really like here again and I don't think it's fair for others to make such horrible statements about her, calling her 'the ugliest person on the Real World'. I get that it wouldn't be a challenge without the 'drama', but saying that... that's just beyond low.
Camila's meltdowns are always pretty entertaining, the next one looks great
It looks stupid to me. Seems like she goes off for no reason.
It looks stupid to me. Seems like she goes off for no reason.
It's probably all the tension in the house builds up and gets to her
Oh camila, she didnt disappoint me last night, but she walking to the pool on exes still is my numer one .
That's gonna be hard to top. Let's not forget the "YOU'RE GONNA DIE!".
By far my favorite team. Camila is gorgeous, a little crazy but funny and Jemmye is just a drunk mess and doesn't care. Also lately they have been performing well. #TeamSubtitles
They did good last challenge(Swimming) i never knew they were lifeguards?!
Camila even competitively swam until her college years.
