The Challenge: Rivals II - Robb & Derek

[B]Robb and Derek can finally laugh at their shirt-ripping confrontation on Battle of the Seasons. Derek jokes, "My fight with Robb was one of the dumbest things I've ever done. He would've killed me and I look like a little Chihuahua!" Not only has Robb put the past behind them, but has also been training hard since his last Challenge, adding 40 lbs. to his 6'6" frame. He admits that while Derek isn't the biggest guy in the house, he's still a valuable asset in the game. "We are very well rounded. I know he can probably endure just about everything. I suck underwater; he's awesome underwater. And I think we're both pretty smart," Robb says. Can these former foes keep the peace long enough to grab the cash? Or will tempers flare once again? Don't really have a problem with either of them but I'm kinda "meh" about them as a team.
I love Robb, but I don't like his chances with one of the most boring personalities ever to be on a challenge as his partner.
LOL Derek? There's only one Derek that belongs on these challenges and he's out doing podcasts :( Good thing Robb has been working out, because on BOTS2 he looked like a guy who would get snapped in half by a guy the size of Trey.
I'm curious to see how much size robb put on, i mean 40lbs is noticeably a lot bigger, especially on tv
I guess he wanted to look kind of like Zach.
I love Robb, but I don't like his chances with one of the most boring personalities ever to be on a challenge as his partner.
I feel the other way around. Derek is pretty entertaining to me. He shows up to challenges and does decent. Robb is a cool, chill dude, but I feel like is extremely bland to watch. He is monotone and doesn't really bring much to the show. Just my opinion, obviously.
I think they're both really boring.
I like Robb ,but i don't see why Derek keeps being asked back
I like Robb ,but i don't see why Derek keeps being asked back
He brings in a certain audience that other cast members don't reach.
He brings in a certain audience that other cast members don't reach.
What Audience? I don't even think most people who watch this show probably don't know who he is.
What Audience? I don't even think most people who watch this show probably don't know who he is.
thats true, I watched most of Cancun and I cant remember anything significant about this guy
What Audience? I don't even think most people who watch this show probably don't know who he is.
Think about it
I'll just let the cat out the bag for the audience Derek brings. Obviously Hispanics. Possibly from ages 15-34. All about demographics.

Their Interview Is Up
Robb's arms look great. His added muscle should help his team. I wonder if he still smokes/drinks a lot though.

It's fun to watch some of these teams try to pretend that they're still mad at each other. It's pretty much the opposite of Rivals I. On that show a lot of the interviews were them trying to come off like they were friends and united despite still not liking each other...here we have people pretending that there's still anger when every interview Derek and Robb have done they've said that they're still close friends.

Probably besides Trey & Zach. And maybe Ana & Jess.

Nehemiah didn't like Evan...ummm...yeah, that's probably it. Oh, Aneesa and Robin hate each other IMO This season is an absolute joke
Robb's arms look great. His added muscle should help his team. I wonder if he still smokes/drinks a lot though.
Yes and yes. Not sure if he did on the challenge, but he sure as hell did a few weekends ago.

I already mentioned that I'm not a fan of these boring "on the fly" type of team interviews theyre doing now. Before the interview was like 4-5 mins now its only like 1min 1/2 -2 mins, are they that broke that they cant get longer interviews or do they just have nothing to say.
Didn't Laurel dislike Cara Maria as well, at the time?
Yes and Kenny and Wes are still not in good terms I think.
Yes and Kenny and Wes are still not in good terms I think.
If I remember, almost none of the people ob rivals 1 were on great terms. Besides paula and ev. They quickly got over their tiff butbtheir feud was one of those lousy excuses that mtv Is using for most of rivals 2.
Johnny and Tyler are really close now. Mandi and Jenn were fine but there was a lot of teams that dislike each other the whole time.
Yeah CT/Adam K, Evan/Nehemiah, Leroy/Adam R, Kenny/Wes they all really hated each other. And for Evan/Nehemiah they left Rivals hating each other even more.
Yeah CT/Adam K, Evan/Nehemiah, Leroy/Adam R, Kenny/Wes they all really hated each other. And for Evan/Nehemiah they left Rivals hating each other even more.
I think Kenny/Wes are played up for TV, a lot. CT/Adam more didn't trust each other, if Adam really hated CT - the result would've been a lot worse. Leroy/Adam don't hate each other, they didn't even hate each other on the show like that. Evan/Nehemiah, yeah I guess... Hate is a strong word.
Nehemiah's problem was that he was consistently screwed over by Evan at every turn on any Challenge they were on. It did not help matters that Evan mocked him the entire time about it either. Well, Nehemiah should be happy that if he does another Challenge, Evan will not be on it.
