I have a feeling if this season does not hit a certain rating mark, Rivals II is the last Challenge. If they hit a certain mark, they get renewed one more time for hopefully a Duel 3.

I really don't want the show to end and why does Jemmye keep saying July 10? Is that when it airs?

Is that when it airs?[/quote] It airs July 10 ,turns out somebody was wrong on some schedule and premiere will be July 10.It was here couple of pages back

MTV PR people made their future schedule available some time ago. Since they did that, wiser heads prevailed at MTV when it was recognized (perhaps from reading vevmo>?) that there would be a predictable loss over viewers over July 4th, and that history shows most of those lost viewers did not return for later episodes. Waiting until the 10th is a smart move to maximize the ratings potential. :encouragement:

Just wondering, was there any reason why Coral wasn't on this challenge with Trishelle?

Wait, I been watching since season 4 but I can't remember if Trishelle/Coral had any beef. I remember Miz picked Trishelle over Coral once but that's about it.

I know that they fought on the Inferno a good amount, and on the pre-show for the Inferno they trashed each other a lot. And probably a good amount on the Gauntlet too, but definitely more a rivalry than Sarah.

Elka's quote after her elimination was priceless, essentially saying Trishelle was sleeping her way through the game. I wonder if someone would ask Elka if she would come back to the Challenges; she's on Twitter now @ElkaWalker.

An open spot to freely add anyone else when she pleases

Don't know if this was addressed before but Ruthie stated that she got a call for this challenge (via podcast), but did not receive a second call of course.

Since it's Rivals though, everyone, for the most part, love Ruthie. The only people I could see her being put up with are Anessa (Duel 2, apparently with Ruthie there, there was a lot of tension, as Anessa said in a confessional) or Beth (since Ruthie saved Gladys on BOTSexes 1 instead of her and ironically, Beth took her out in The Gauntlet 2). I'd love to see Ruthie back on The Duel 3; Hopefully the eliminations do not favor the bigger woman. Ruthie would seriously kick *** in a final. I'd hate to see some of the smaller women (Jillian, Paula, Diem, for example) to miss out on a final due to their sheer size. Her and Trishelle would have been television gold. It would have been nice to have seen Julie back as well; it's been since the Gauntlet 2. I wonder if she's been called since then. Even Trishelle/Elka would have been nice.

Coral and Trishelle are friends now. Not like that matters though given some of these pairings.

Holy ****, Bird slapped CT? She wasn't even there a long time! Dayum, girl, didn't know you had that in you. There are a lot of fights this season! The trailer looked fantastic, I absolutely cannot wait. I look forward to whoever breaks down the trailer's fights and eliminations.

I think it is actually kind of cool for Aneesa to be the one calling out Trishelle. Bird is gutsy, I'll give her that and it was nice to see Paula's statement about not caring who they **** off.

Here is another shot from the Robb and Derek vs Dunbar and Tyrie elimination. Interesting how it looks like 1 on 1 in the first one and 2 on 2 in the second one. Perhaps one of them was a tie breaker? [ATTACH]2109[/ATTACH]

I think missions and eliminations look good. Looks like a few surprises.

I don't know how much or how often that was discussed, but it was a topic of conversation. I certainly applaud cast members who recognize that what they are about is the successful production of a TV show, and they are not standing on a platform for their own personal agendas.
