Survivor: Blood vs. Water (Spoilers)

It's that time again season 27 of the hit show will fly it's cast out on Tuesday according to notorious spoiler source Missyae a.k.a Jim Early. Early has been credited in the past for providing good information, but he's also been known for giving not so true info as well. According to him and other spoiler sources including Redmond over at Survivor Sucks website this coming up season will include 10 past contestants plus one of their loved ones. Early announced 8 contestants on his twitter last night. Who are they? 1.Gervase Peterson (Borneo) 2.Tina Wesson (Australian Outback/All-Stars) 3.Rob Cesternino (Amazon/All-Stars) 4.Rupert Boneham (Pearl Islands/All-Stars/Heroes vs. Villains) 5.Aras Baskauskas (Exile Island) 6.Kat Edorsson (One World) 7.Colton Cumbie (One World) 8.RC Saint-Amour (Philippines) Possibilities for the last 2 female spots include: 1.Danni Boatwright (Guatemala) 2.Cirie Fields (Exile Island/Micronesia/Heroes vs. Villains) 3.Candice Woodcock (Cook Islands/Heroes vs. Villians) 4.Natalie Bolton (Micronesia) 5.Stephanie Valencia (Redemption Island) 6.Andrea Boehlke (Redemption Island/Caramoan) There is a chance of a sleeper that is completely off the radar as well. He is not a very reliable spoiler source. He was claiming that Rachel was the fourth coach on BB14 weeks after we all knew it was Britney. Redmond and Survivor Fanatics are the only cast lists I would personally trust. Their list has a lot of names in common with Missyae's, but I believe a lot of his "spoilers" that are actually accurate are stolen from other people.

To be fair though Redmond has been wrong before as well. Based on what I've read Missyae has more sources than Redmond does. But with the exception of a select few, like Candice who doesn't have a twitter, twitter should be going silent for the contestants that are actually on.

I couldn't stand him, but he might have helped ratings. They pretty much made Survivor Philippines for him (though he ended up not doing it).

Apparently here is the updated cast RC + Dad Laura M + daughter Tina + daughter Kat + cousin or boyfriend Monica C + husband Tyson + girlfriend Rupert + wife Rob + wife Aras + brother Gervase + nephew Lmao at this cast. I'm not really sure what production/casting/Jeff are thinking with this one. Lets hope this is a joke.

She wanted $25,000 for him to make an appearance at a Midwest state fair @2005.

But I'm just confused as to why they would want Tyson, Monica, Laura or RC? Or even Tina on the show ever again. None are very compelling. And Rupert playing for a 4th time is just a joke itself. Surely there were better ideas or previous players that could have been utilized.

Burnett and Co would hope to change that by giving them someone appealing.

Survivor is better than that, or at least they have always tried to hold themselves above the Real Housewives/Bad Girls clubs of the world. Quite frankly, I'll be surprised and disappointed if they had him back.

I had a serious "wtf" face when reading most (maybe all?) of the returning players. If you're going to run with this concept, I guess you have to make sure the "plus one" will make for good tv as well. That may have taken some good returnees out of consideration. It's pretty bad when I'm most looking forward to Tyson haha. And Rupert for a 4th time...really?

Here is my theory with this cast. This cast is centered around Rob C. They cast this around him. His best friends outside of the show are Aras and Tyson. He's also good friends with Gervese, Tina, RC and even Kat. That leaves Rupert, who Probst and co. think is the best thing to happen to survivor. He won't win, he sucks at challenges, has no social skills and is terrible strategically. Oh and his wife? She's obese and apparently not very nice. Next is Monica. Apparently, CBS wanted her husband Brad on One World but he was unavailable so they settled for Monica. She was good physically but wasn't good at the actual game of survivor. She's destined to be an early boot so I doubt they care they just want her husband. Then there's the most confusing person to be on, Laura. Laura physically resembles Monica almost exactly. Both are conservative republican women, both middle aged, both athletic, both wealthy. Laura also made accusations against CBS and Survivor of rigging Samoa in favor of Russell. Basically saying they gave Russell hidden immunity idols. So why would They want her back? Better yet if this were true why would Laura want to return? Obviously they won't be feeding her idols, and with a huge pre game alliance she's sure to be an early boot.

Wow, that's a horrendous cast. They clearly didn't care about bringing back favorites or anything. This may as well be considered a regular Survivor with a new cast. It's interesting that they didn't bother with the Hantz family, though. Not that I want any Hantz's in the game.

I would love to see Colton again. His fiance is HOT like him. Why are so many fans homophobic towards him??? They need to put their homophobia aside. He is by far one of the best players. I hope Russell Hantz is on the show with his wife. Kat's brother is sexy! Maybe he is gay! I hope so. he is too sexy to waste on a woman. I loved RC and thought she got a raw deal on her season. I don't like most of the others. Tina was lame.

Burnt some bridges along with his nephew. 3.Thats Kats cousin, not brother.

There have been a lot of hints Rob is on. Watch the first couple minutes of the Parvati's Survivor After Show. It does seem unlikely that Rob would lie about a baby, but there has been a lot of evidence and the timing is too convenient. The baby is coming in September. I'm 99.99% sure Rob is on. Nicole has been kinda 50/50 the whole time, as Rob could easily be going with his brother Danny. I, for one, am still holding out hope that it's Nicole.
