It works perfectly. As much as you guys are *****ing, this season without nia would be very boring. I can't remember any story so far from anyone else.

The damage left by SD and STT? I'm sure had this season aired after Vegas, ratings would be different. I also agree, Nia has been a perfect addition to the cast. God knows why she wasn't an original.

Portland is doing pretty much the same as St. Thomas, but slightly worse, and St. Thomas had god awful scheduling (episode 2 was on the 4th of July). She wasn't an original because she isn't being a real person. She sent in multiple casting tapes and begged to be on the show. She seems like a fame *****.
A new season with two awful seasons before it, will generally do worse. At the very least, we are seeing an increase and two Nia-centered episodes saw an increase too. Call her what you like, but without her this season would have gotten stale fast.

I think Jordan is so far the star of the season. He got into an argument with every single room mate and every argument didn't seemed forced, but biased of his real character and believes which makes him very real to me and with Nia it seems like for her this is just a game. She is almost too over the top. Yeah but she isnt that ratingmagnet the producer hoped her to be.

She's just like the model from NC who tried out for 11 reality shows before landing on Tough Enough. She quit after the 3rd week because her body could not handle it but she claimed it was because she missed her daughter. I actually like everyone in the house but Jessica and Nia right now for different reasons.

I like Jordan, he's my second favorite, but how boring would have things gotten without Nia? Maybe we wouldn't have gotten all these future confrontations. I never saw her bringing in massive ratings anyway.
I'm actually interested to know what makes her walk up behind Averey and coldcock her in the back of the head. Not just because I like Averey but to see what drove Nia to do it. Makes me wonder if it was a random impulse.

God knows why she wasn't an original.
Media viewing habit research shows that viewers who elect to stop watching a series are very, very difficult for the networks to bring back, so it is possible that absent SD 2 and STT, viewers would not have departed in such depressing numbers. The fact that you are "sure" means nothing absent facts (like research data). Nonetheless, I doubt that God pays attention to the Real World or that there is a shred of evidence that Nia has been the "perfect addition." Nia certainly was a generously publicized addition -- but only on MTV.
Was Jordan's monkey joke really racist?
I certainly didn't think so.
I certainly didn't think so.
I don't think Jordan meant for it to be racist. I think he was just trying to goad Nia.

AKA the woman who lied about having 10 years of wrestling experience (she wrestled ten years ago) and was married to Jonny Fairplay? I think there's a difference in personalities there.

St. Thomas was a horrible season which didn't help out the show at all. I'm hoping next season is much better than this one so it can pick up a little more.
You mean Michelle Deighton? AKA the woman who lied about having 10 years of wrestling experience (she wrestled ten years ago) and was married to Jonny Fairplay? Actually, Michelle, who appeared on America's Next Top Model was married to Jon Dalton.
If it works so "perfectly," why are the ratings where they are?
The episodes centered around her have had higher ratings. You guys are just naturally haters for some reason. Dislike the girl all you want, but she's one of the (maybe 3) only people on this season who make it worth watching.
I don't think her "6 tape" strategy makes her crazy. If you want something, you want something. What makes someone crazy, IE Trey, is being a superfan and wanting to be in the show so badly that you actually pretend to be a racist on Twitter to get casting directors attention.

Truthfully, I don't care if she is acting because I believe a lot of people act much differently in front of cameras. Whatever makes for interesting TV, I'll watch!

Dislike the girl all you want, but she's one of the (maybe 3) only people on this season who make it worth watching.
Personally, I neither hate nor dislike her. She's just someone on a reality TV show...who is of no importance to me.
If it works so "perfectly," why are the ratings where they are?
The Real World is getting pretty irrelevant if we haven't noticed since the last two seasons. The premiere ratings are an indication of that. After those terrible opening numbers I only expected Nia to pull this season to a million, anyone expecting her to pull anything higher is delusion. She's helping, somewhat, but still TRW isn't hot**** like it use to be and that's fine, it's been on air for 21 years. I don't get why people are crying every week about the ratings just enjoy what's left of the show.

Nature is the reason for anything. :applause: or maybe I just don't like the person she's acting to be. (I watched two videopodcasts with her and guess what, she's totally the opposite of "Hurricane Nia")
You mean like how Nia on Twitter talked about how Martin Luther King didn't put in so much work for her to be working in a pizzeria?
If she said that, then all I can say is wow.
You mean like how Nia on Twitter talked about how Martin Luther King didn't put in so much work for her to be working in a pizzeria?
She was obviously joking, I read it. The difference is that Trey knew, like everyone else who has went through the casting process, the directors check your Twitter DURING the finals. He went on a 5 - 7 tweet rant pretty much about white power putting on a persona to help get on the show. If I said what I really wanted to say, I would be banned. You guys are being waaaaaaay too sensitive.

I acted totally different in.some situations than I would in "regular life". It doesn't mean she's fake, its just people naturally act differently under pressure
Lol um pretty sure people are upset about the ratings because awful ratings = cancellation and considering most of us here are fans of the show no one wants that to happen.
There's at least one more season so..
There's at least one more season so..
Ok.
There's at least one more season so..
We believe there is at least one more season on order, but that does not mean that another season will be shot or even aired. I've cast for a couple of shows that never made it into production so I know it's not yet a sure thing; but, I don't think this season's numbers rate cancellation.
Was Jordan's monkey joke really racist?
It's a monkey joke... of course it is. After seeing the sneak peak for episode 7 he def. did those gestures for a reason, it was intended to be racist to get to Nia because she called him the n-a word. Sneak Peek | Rightfully Justified | Video | MTV I'm sure people will say Marlon is too sensitive to the situation and others will call Jordan a racist. This will be another Ty-Emily blackface moment. *face palm*
