Are you just trying to argue your opinion? Nia's casting tape displays behaviors from BGC. Not to mention her exposure of violence throughout the trailers. We have not seen her on BGC, which would make Camille's argument of Nia being a BGC reject accurate. It doesn't matter if you think RW is a step up from BGC. It's completely subjective, and doesn't negate Camille's "logic".
No. I know for a fact Nia specifically tried out for TRW, she said shes been wanting to do TRW since she was 11 (or some age like that) on a Spreecast.
Nothing wrong with holding women to a higher standard than guys. You can be sexual without coming across as whorish imo. Women are often shown in a bad light on RW and the like. No need to add to that negative image.
It is wrong. And it is your attitude that we should not be treated equal that contributes to this negative image. She's not being whorish. She is being sexual with her boyfriend. The definition of ***** is someone who accepts payment for sexual favors.
Bad Girls Club reject was meant as just a description of her behavior.
CP, we disagree -- if only symantically. Traditionally speaking, BGC may occupy a lower rung on Dante's inferno scale than does RW, but in recent years, but I'm not sure that is really saying much about our culture. I suspect that what we are seeing from Nia is a "bad girl" character portrayal based upon the way she interacts with her close friends easily identified via twitter. Irrespective of who the real Nia may be; however, the clips of her behavior which BMP is using to market Nia as a cast member could as easily have come from a BGC trailer for BCG. Fans/viewers/media critics have taken notice of Nia in large part because what we are seeing is such a departure from the casting profile. I've come to the conclusion that her casting is a conscious decision by BMP/MTV to an efort to capture some of the Oxygen/BGC audience for MTV, since MTV has been hemoraging viewers at every turn.
Right. I can see all that. Doesn't BGC get more viewers than Real World anyway? Either way, they want some of that audience. The company casts for both shows and I personally think Bad Girls Club promotes violence which gets them ratings. They cast girls who are willing to fight. Every preview of Nia looks like something you'd see on the Bad Girls Club. Nia keeps pumping her Hurricane Nia image with glee. I do wish Mary Ellis Bunim were still with us. I don't think she would let her creation head toward such a negative place. JMO, of course.
I think you guys need to calm down judging nia before she has even made the show. She's being HERSELF and that's what the show is all about. I've met more people like her in the REAL world than any other cast member...people sometimes fight in the real world. Does that mean the show is headed in a negative direction? No. Id you look at the trailer all of her fights happened on just 2 different days, not every flipping second like on BGC. Face it, the show sucked. Sucked, sucked, sucked so they put someone in who wasn't a typecast. She's raw, she's real. There's already been talk that she was called a "money n word" and spat on by two roommates so for all we know know her actions could have been justified. If you REALLY want to compare BGC to Real World and talk about thecshow being trashy, you should rewatch Cancun.

Obviously. I tend not to be judgmental to people until after they start hitting me with a lamp, not before.
Something about this season seems more old school RW to me. Like, the people actually seem like real people, and they actually do activities around the city which is pretty cool. I do think part of it is though that they are in an actual city, as opposed to St. Thomas. Like, they are in an actual metropolitan area which feels like we haven't seen in awhile. San Diego was more of a beachy atmosphere, and Vegas they were for the most part just stuck in that Hotel/Casino.
I agree about this season having an old school feeling to it. I definitely think Joi left because of other issues, I doubt it was only because of the job. Jordan isn't that bad tbh. It's funny watching him troll... as long as he doesn't go too much over the top (Frank).

IF YOU HAVE BALLS YOU'LL SAY IT TWICE." lol

Right! I know she said the only season she has ever watched was Vegas2.0 but it's like.. really Joi? What type of job were you expecting??
A bit late but... Nia's casting tape is like any other person trying out for a reality tv show casting tape. I really don't get the fuss about it.
A bit late but... Nia's casting tape is like any other person trying out for a reality tv show casting tape. She never said "I'm a bad *****..I don't give a **** what you think..etc" All I saw was a sad attempt at twerking and her admitting to stuffing her bra.
You and I apparently live in very different worlds.
I've met people MUCH more like the other casts compared to Nia. I barely know any chicks like her. She seems openly vulgar xD Maybe Im missing something, but I can't think of how she is real compared to other people on the Real World.

But when it comes to being raw and uncensored, I've come in contact with tons of people, guys and girls, just like her. I don't see what the problem is. The point of RW is to have 7 DIFFERENT people, not 7 personalities we've seen time and time again.

Maybe we'll see how she is in the season. :D
Nia suck his **** on national tv and in front of her roommate,I believe Nia thinks outside the box
Nia suck his **** on national tv and in front of her roommate,I believe Nia thinks outside the box
Wait..what?
Nia suck his **** on national tv and in front of her roommate,I believe Nia thinks outside the box
As if MTV is going to show that....
Where did you hear that though???? I just saw them making out
Nia suck his **** on national tv and in front of her roommate,I believe Nia thinks outside the box
"Outside the box," "in the toilet," or "in the gutter," seems pretty much all the same to me.
I feel sorry for Nia family
Everyone is so judgmental, as long as she isn't hurting anyone then shes fine as far as I'm concerned.
I feel sorry for Nia family
I'm still wondering where you heard that she gave Jordan ******** in public. you can't say things like that without solid proof Why do you feel sorry for her family? Who cares. She's old enough to make her own choices and if her family loves her, they accept her despite of "mistakes" she makes.
Everyone is so judgmental, as long as she isn't hurting anyone then shes fine as far as I'm concerned.
Exactly.

You dont know if she does it or not
Another great episode. This cast totally ***** on the last two seasons. Even, Jordan, the villain is entertaining and has redeeming qualities. So ready for Nia!
