The Challenge: And Then There Were None
Or
The Challenge: The Mansion
20 Houseguests arrive at a creepy mansion and sit down to a nice dinner party hosted by TJ Lavin. Some time in, TJ leaves and is discovered murdered later. With no phones to contact the outside world, and all exits locked, the house turns to panic as TJs body goes missing. A voice goes over an intercom to explain that he has gathered these select Challngers to compete in his very own game. To get them to turn on and kill each other for money.
So here's how it works. All Houseguests compete in a Survivor type challenge with a horror twist. The winner becomes the Killer. The killer is kept secret to everyone except the one that receives a letter in the confessional explaining that they must kill a fellow houseguest.
All 20 get two votes in the form of pins to stick in any two voodoo dolls on the dining room table. The three that get the most votes are Marked for Murder.
A day or two later, the three are kidnapped and put in a distress situation that can only be escaped by having a friend or friends help you escape. So if Cara Maria has 5 friends help while Mandi has 1, and Jonna has none, then CaraMaria has a decent shot. The first to be saved is safe from the "...Chopping Block"
After the survival challenge, the murderer makes his choice in the confessional. Everyone goes to their separate bedrooms and are locked inside(Except the murderer who has a skeleton key for the week.) he goes into his choices room and Kills(eliminates) them. Everyone wakes the next morning to discover the bloody corpse of... CaraMaria? Mandi? Jonna? Whoever.
All guests left alive then go to the kitchen to discover that the "dead" Houseguests voodoo doll is now missing. They all discuss the weeks events. If they can successfully identify the killer that person is automatically marked for murder in the next round. If not, that person gets an advantage in the next Killer Mission.
This continues until we get to the final three. The F3 compete in one more survival challenge, te first two survive and the last one is killed.
The final two compete in a haunted maze to collect relics from their fallen Houseguests. The first to finish the maze gets a key to the front gate of the mansion where he is greeted by The Voice: TJ Lavin. He gives him a check for $300,000. And allows him to live.
Something I've been playing with for a while. Anyone have a suggestion to make it more interesting or make more sense? Anyone have better horror themed challenges??
Okay, I read that 3 times and I'm pretty sure I'd quit watching before the first episode is even over. It's almost like you're trying to combine every other reality show (The Mole, Survivor, Big Brother, etc) and it made a chaotic mess.
Not a bad idea but I think you need to play around with it a little more. I see almost no competition involved in the way you stated this--all politics
Some rules I forgot: You don't HAVE to save anyone during the survival mission. If no one tries then all three stay on the "...Chopping Block"
Yea I started playing with the idea after reading And then there were none while watching Big Brother on YouTube (no life, I swear). And then found 13: Fear is Real on the interwebs. It has pretty much become exactly what you stated, a hot mess. I'm just a big reality tv and horror fanatic and am trying to figure out a way to combine those two worlds, without getting excessively campy like 13: FIR. Like, they went too far with 13 Guests, and the prize was $66,666.66. And I was like, "for real?"
Idk if anyone has any suggestions, trust me, I'm all ears.
Totally wouldn't happen since these are from different channels and franchises, however...

I don't mind the idea--just hate the cast.
I wouldn't mind for the next challenge if they did a format similar to Gauntlet 2, where each team has a Captain, and if the the team loses, the Captain has to face off against his own teammates in an elimination round.
Ruins 2: same ish format, though somehow keep the concept of winners selecting who goes into elimation aside from voting. Maybe involve two challenges then an elimination. First a team challenge, let's say champions win, a second challenge within their team takes place, an individual challenge. So then the winner of the individual challenge, power whatever, selects any player from the challengers team to face off against whoever came in last in the champions individual challenge.
Keep the individual bank accounts with money changing hands if eliminated, and for whoever wins the individual challenge gets another additional share. Then have another grueling two day final challenge and have the rules like exes, your only paid if you cross the finish line.

Eh I'd rather have both teams vote someone in the Gauntlet. I never liked that the teams had to fight against their own.
I liked Cutthroat but at the same time the rules were a bit lackluster. I mean the same people just kept getting voted in and theres nothing the players could do about it. There were no cross team alliances and even if there were it wouldn't do anything since teams can't affect another teams decision. So I propose a Cutthroat 2 with a new set of rules and keeping the 3 team format.
The teams will be chosen by the top 3 players to make it to the gulag first (or some type of other way but just make it the top 3 players since I feel they should be somewhat rewarded). Now they will compete in challenges as teams and the winning team as per usual will be safe from elimination. Instead of the losing teams just voting off players from their team into elimination, there should be a wheel that is spun (like the gauntlet 2 & 3) where that will determine how elimination will work. There will be 3 ways voting for elimination can occur
1)Losing teams vote off own players- this is the basic way just like on the first cutthroat so each team will vote for who they want into elimination from their own team.
2)Losing teams vote for players from opposing team- this is where the teams will have to vote who they want into elimination from the other losing team.
3)Winning team chooses players from both losing teams- this is the best one to get because the winning team will have all the power. the winning team will vote for who they want to go into elimination from both losing teams. So each player would have to vote for 4 people, 1 guy and 1 girl from 1 team and another guy and girl from the other team.
I think these new set of rules would make it more hectic and scary for the teams because now they don't know all the time with how voting will work. This will make a much more unpredictable season because lets be honest, it was so easy to know who was going to elimination if a team lost regardless of if you knew spoilers or not.
As for a cast I am not sure but I would like something like this with a cast of 36 meaning each team has 12 players.(I will try to be realistic with a touch of optimism)

Some are most likely to appear on the next challenge or so while others may not but this is just a cast I put together in about 5 min lol. I tried putting players who we haven't seen yet compete but I don't watch the real world that much anymore because its the same thing each season now. I just tune into the first episode to see who the people are so if they are on a challenge I can know who they are a little.
So what do you all think???

Great concept, although I'm not digging the wheel as the means to choose. I feel like the losing teams might cry foul if the winning team constantly gets to pick who goes in and the losers don't get a say. How about instead of a wheel there are 3 huge cards (like the ones from the Duel 1 and 2 where they chose the duel game) and 1 person from the winning team picks one of the cards in order to determine which way the gulag contestants will be chosen? It seems more arbitrary to me at least.
THE CHALLENGE: Battle Grounds
Location: Barcelona, Spain
FORMAT: 2 teams made up of Old School competitors and the other made up of New School competitors. Over the past few seasons we have seen a new era of competitors show up on The Challenge and are staring to become the new faces of the series. So on this season we will put together a team of those new faces and put them against a team of the old vets who have been running the Challenge season after season. The game play is simple before every challenge each team will call out 1 guy and 1 girl from each team to potenially go into the elimination round "The Battle Grounds" and after the challenge the 2 called out on the winning team are safe from elimination and the winning team will get to choose who from their team will face the 2 called out from the losing team. But you can't call out the same person again until everybody left on the team has been already called out once.
The Challenge: Battle of Orgins survivor style.
Location: Somewhere on the beach
Format: There will 3 teams; Fresh Meat, Real World, and Road Rules. There will be 18 competitors, 6 in each team. For the first half of the season, the teams will battle it out to remain in the game. The first round will be a challenge to determine where the teams will be residing and who will be safe from competing in the second round. The winning team from the first round will be staying at a nice cabin with all the accommodations you need to live really comfortable. The second placing team will not have all the luxuries first place have, but they will be a little more comfortable that the last place team which will sleep on the beach and have the least amount of food (enough to live by). The next day, the two teams will compete in the second round in which the winnerwill save themselves from having to go into the elimination round. The team that goes into the elimination round will have to pick two teammates to go one on one in the elimination round, they will vote in close ballet format. The winning team of the first challenge will pick on member of the losing team to be immune. The twist: the person immune from elimination will be revealed after the team picks the two members to go into elimination. If the person immune from elimination is among the two that are voted into the elimination round, he/she can choose another member of their team to replace them and go into the elimination round instead. The elimination games will be have equalizers, since there can be both a male and a female competing against each other in an eliminations round.
After 12 challengers remain, the teams will go head to head against each other once again. This time, the losing team of this challenge will no longer exist. The two winning teams will pick, one by one, a member from the losing team to become a part of their team. Now it is just two teams going against each other. There will be two rounds, the first to determine which team will have to send their people into elimination round, and the elimination rounds. This will continue till there are six challengers. The top 6 are now in the final round. The top 3 challengers will win money, will the other three go home with nothing.
Seems like an unlikely challenge, but I find this pretty dope to watch.
FYI I have realized that this is REALLY complicated. It certainly killed a lot of time making this up, which was good since I was bored.
The Challenge: The Jungle
2 Teams of 16 previously determined. Before the first challenge, there is a footrace [Cutthroat]. The fastest male and female from each team become Week 1's team captains. After the winning team is declared, the winning team captains and the losing team go into one room. The losing team votes by secret ballot one female and one male to go into the Jungle. The winning team captains then choose the other female and male to go into the Jungle, WITHOUT the rest of their team.
Jungle format: Fresh Meat - Exile style. A footrace [2 miles] in an undisclosed part of a forest, but with only 1 checkpoint in the middle. After completing the puzzle at the checkpoint, the players receive a key. They take this key to the end of the footrace, where there are four squares in the dirt. They have to use shovels and dig to find a chest, and unlock it to finish the elimination round. First male and female to do so are safe, the other two are sent home.
The next week, the winning team captains must choose one female and one male from their team and swap them with another female and male from the other team, EXCEPT the winners of the Jungle. Then TJ hands 4 people [2 captains, 2 Jungle winners] 4 boxes, which are separated by teams and genders and have the names of the remaining players on ping pong balls inside. These are the new team captains.
This goes on until there are only 6 females and 6 males left, at which point they move onto the final challenge. The teams then disintegrate, and it's every person for him/herself. Top 3 win money, bottom 3 don't.

I had a hard time finding the girls. I forgot about Tina punching Beth. I only put Shauvon in this becuase she quit her last challenge and got an injury on Ruins. I would like to see her actually get eliminated by someone else and not quit. I dont like Beth to much so I didn't put her in here, but I thought about it.
