Yesterday's episode was really good. I have to think either it was totally fake or the guy was just super unaware:
How do you not recognize the voice of your supposed friend when she's seducing you over the phone?
I've only seen two episodes of this show, last night's and the Mhissy one, and I think those two are a really specific evil kind of brilliant. Mhissy was just diabolical but the fact that the girl last night
basically created a whole network of other people "catfishing" that would watch her back and help keep her story straight
is actually pretty impressive (in an incredibly mean manipulative sort of way, but impressive nonetheless).
You have probably seen the 2 best episodes thus far, in my opinion.
I kind of wanted them to reveal the agent and the other guy Nev talked to. Just to see some of the players in her story. It was actually kind of sad especially after hearing the bit about her talking to other guys online the same way. She seems to crave attention in all the wrong ways and that's unfortunate because as my wife pointed out, she's actually pretty and cute and could make a lot of friends legitimately if she tried. I did have a big LOL moment at the end after hearing what happened in the following months... She posed as Kari Anne again, then moved to Cali to be with a guy who upon seeing that she had been lying to him, shrugged it off and took her in anyway hehe. Little does he know she's probably too mentally unstable for the relationship to last.

Do you ever think they'd let a gay guy be the fake person. I just think it be hilarious if a they had a meathead guy knock the door and then some really flamboyant gay guy answer, being like "hhhheeeeyyyy". The way the episodes have been going so far, I can't imagine them doing that.
Hopefully no

***** You got your wish!!!!!!!!!!
His "emotional" excuse was b.s. Get on Grindr like the other 85% of the gay population if you just want someone to "Talk" to.
Why is it everytime I come here a website gets mentioned that I heard of the first time like that same day and feel out of the loop?
Anyway, since January 7th I missed every episode. I totally forget.
This guy needs his *** beat. Where is Mhissy with the flowers when you need her?
"I gave her a flower. I threw at her and she dropped it. Still How rude" LOL.
His friends laughing at him was great. They totally would have kept doing it if not for the cameras rather than be like oh you guys going to be friends still?
That guy playing the girl got on my nerves. The guy that got played was very good looking of course he was not going to stay in contact with the other guy.

What does that even means? Many ugly people from this series have contact.
A lot of homophobia went down last night on twitter over this episode, it was really uncalled for and male/female double standards. I wonder how the ratings went.
LMFAO You got your wish!!!!!!!!!!
Just watched, best episode so far, made me laugh.
Another episode idea: I want to see the person Nev meets as a fat guy who is actually the catfish pretending to be a hunk who's met a nice girl on facebook and wants to reveal to her who he really is. Only when he goes to her house, she is also a fat catfish and they fall in love, awww.

The guy wasn't that good looking, at least not good looking enough to think he had a chance with Amanda, had she been real. He was a 6 she was a 10, he should have realized something was up.

Anybody would think the catfish was a pedophile grooming a kid, the way some people react. Sometimes I wonder if their warped minds actually class this story as worse.

Actually watching the preview for the next episode it looks like it might be like this.
1.5 seasons in, I'm still wondering when we're going to get a legit story like the producers promised we would occasionally see.
ILoveRW... crude ratings 6 & 10 but well... true lol! I'd give him at least a 7.5 though.

Yeah because that isn't stereotypical enough...
Watching Mondays episode now and this guy is ugly and effiminate all in one. Can't stand that. And he never really stood a chance. Like a Sean Cody chance either, lol.
This last episode was all around a cluster ****.
and I'm sorry but SPOILER ALERT
So let’s get this straight:
- Guy – who to me appears to be bi-curious from the get-go – gets involved with a transsexual for four years.
- He prepares himself to go start this life with a transsexual, even reveals to his friend to see if he would accept him.
- First he has to tell her that he’s been faking pictures.
- Then she reveals that she’s not a transsexual but she was a lesbian for 15 years and wanted her first experience with a man to be with him.
- He seems let down that she’s not a transsexual.
- But instead he covers it up by saying that he only used her because she provided for him financially for those four years they've been chatting.
Okay, did I miss anything? Let me know.
I found it odd that he was disappointed that she wasn't transgendered..
I think that he's slowly realizing that he might be gay
Tell me if I'm wrong, but surely if you like transgenders then that doesn't make you gay. Gays like men, not chicks with *****.

True; I guess it was the fact that she also lied to him. Though when Nev pointed it out that he might be gay, his face was like "well..damn :/ "

I know quite a few men that consider themselves straight, but happily got down in Bangkok. Personally I'm pretty open but the thought of being with a transsexual does nothing for me. I'd say he is straight but open minded, not that I've seen the episode.
I found it odd that he was disappointed that she wasn't transgendered..
I think that he's slowly realizing that he might be gay
He completely seemed to lose any and all interest the second he found out she was a full on woman. I definitely was thinking he was gay and just didn't feel comfortable coming out and saying it on camera or perhaps at all.

I just re-watched the episode; turns out he met her on a gay-dating site. He's straight, though.. why was he there in the first place?
