I actually watched it again last night on MAX. I can see where the ending was a bit anticlimactic, but the film itself was filled with laughs.
I agree. FDR was a ****** choice. Besides the obvious lack of Tuck sexy appeal, he was manipulative and all around annoying.
I can't wait for this to come out. It is at the top of my list.
This and The Gangster Squad are on my must see list this month. Lucky for me, they come out on the same day. (Note my sarcasm)
Also, if you've not seen it yet, check out the movie Lawless. It was most DEFINITELY one of the best films this year. I have no idea why it's being ignored. Lawless - Official Trailer (HD) - YouTube ps. The book was good too.
Also, if you've not seen it yet, check out the movie Lawless. It was most DEFINITELY one of the best films this year. I have no idea why it's being ignored.
It's in my Netflix queue, but I'll be honest - it is a big queue.
Lawless was my ****. And The Hobbit sucks
This and The Gangster Squad are on my must see list this month. Lucky for me, they come out on the same day. (Note my sarcasm)
Those two are at the top of my list as well. Zero Dark Thirty looks exceptional and Gangster Squad...you can't pass up a plot like that.
Those two are at the top of my list as well. Zero Dark Thirty looks exceptional and Gangster Squad...you can't pass up a plot like that.
Which is funny because I'm doing exactly that. There's just something I find lacking in both movies.
Movies suck these days...I'm over them. I'll stick with the classics and forget the waste dump that is Hollywood now. What a joke it has become.

You've got to know where to look.

You're just not watching the right kind of movies. Les Mis and Django Unchained were amazing movies. And it's funny because most of those "great" movies that are nominated for Oscars aren't such huge hits. Those, in my opinion, are the ones you should be watching because 9/10 they are way better than any huge blockbuster.
In other news, this is great.
If I had a nickel for every time someone told me THIS ^^^^^...well, you know the rest. 99% of "great" movies are just a bunch of overrated and overhyped junk these days.
You must just hate fun. May I ask what are the last few movies you saw?
If I had a nickel for every time someone told me THIS ^^^^^...well, you know the rest. 99% of "great" movies are just a bunch of overrated and overhyped junk these days.
Agree completely. I can't be arsed anymore to smack down a hard-earned $7 to see most of this crap in theaters anymore. Thankfully Pixar and Dreamworks are still putting out decent stuff and because I have a 5 yr old, I have an excuse to buy those movies.
You must just hate fun. May I ask what are the last few movies you saw?
Fun is for the birds...LOL Dark Knight Rises (What a boring clunker just like most of Nolan's films..give me Avengers over this snoozer/back up plan to Ledger's death) Lincoln (Daniel Day Lewis was AMAZING in it though, I must admit...horribly/unbearably boring otherwise) Argo (Good but not as good as advertised)
Django is in the 1%
I've heard great things about it and if DiCaprio is as good in it as I have heard, maybe he will FINALLY get some attention Oscars wise.
I've heard great things about it and if DiCaprio is as good in it as I have heard, maybe he will FINALLY get some attention Oscars wise.
Totally agree; I'm usually a tough critic but you should def check it out. DiCaprio gave me goosebumps. Like seriously, I thought he was actually going to come to my house and lynch me that night..
HOLY CRAP!! This new trailer for Evil Dead is not for the faint of heart!!! Lots of blood and twisted scenes... if you've seen the originals you know what you're in for... times a thousand. lol Still shocked after witnessing that trailer. Do not watch if you can't handle a ton of blood. EVIL DEAD - Full Redband Trailer - In Theaters April 12th - YouTube

Are you serious?! Hands down the best book I was ever forced to read in high school. And anyone else notice that they mentioned Carrie ;) :D Just saw The Impossible. I'm usually not a fan of sob stories, but it's actually really good. I mean.. I cried lol.

I forgot Ender's Game was coming out this year! I think the series was disappointing as a whole, but the first few books, especially this one (the first) were awesome. Yea!

This movie, along with the rest of the series, is definitely a heap of garbage. It definitely deserves some Razzie attention, that's for sure.
I've never seen a Twilight film or read the series, but geez are they really that bad?
The word bad doesn't quite describe them. Horrendous, horrible, horrid, terrible, hideous, pathetic, waste, awful, ect. ect....now those are better words to describe the Twilight movies.
I still think Twilight and Eclipse were on point though. The rest? Not so much. Plus I would rather see that than that Les Mirserables/Mamma Mia or whatever nonsense.
