Robb broke up with Marie via text message and then wouldn't answer her phone calls or talk to her. Then at the reunion he proceeds to wear the bracelet she bought him symbolizing the official start of their relationship as well as the shoes she bought him. Robb strikes me as very passive aggressive, he is not a child, he knew what he was doing. I would have been a lot meaner than Marie was especially considering the rumor that Robb actually brought his new girlfriend to the reunion as well.
Robb and Marie had a good run and I genuinely believe that they loved each other but ultimately they are just not compatible. Marie needs someone more assertive and better able to communicate his feelings and I believe Robb would be better with someone more passive than Marie.
Totally agree with that.
Before last nights episode I had no desire to watch the St. Thomas season, but I kind of want to see more of Marie now.
Totally agree. Sadly, last night she said she may be done with reality TV since she got a new job (just like Ev)

Call me crazy but I don't see Marie being a lawyer or anything. She'll be back, they always come back.
She'll be back, they always come back.
Insert this face after that
She talked to Mike Mike about it a while back and I remember creeping and seeing something like "I think I'm done with reality TV" or something like that somewhere..

Her, Robb, and LaToya really saved the season from being terrible. It wasn't good, but it wasn't necessarily bad imo.

I totally agree with this. It is kind of funny actually, because Robb is so quiet and soft spoken and not as opinionated as Marie people all of sudden think that he is in the right in the situation. But you are right, he is not a child and he was acting like one, pretty immature, just because he isnt loud or aggresive with his behavior does not make him mature or the better person.
Speaking of, I wonder if Toya would ever do one of these... probably not without Marie
I sure hope she would. She's by far my favorite from STT and I feel like she'd quite well. I think her and Swift on a Rivals team would be amazing tv.
Her, Robb, and LaToya really saved the season from being terrible. It wasn't good, but it wasn't necessarily bad imo.
It was pretty terrible. They had one whole episode about a prank with a barracuda. Trey and laura sucked, brandon was only interesting the first night, latoya and swifts fights made me feel dumber just for watching them, Robb punched himself a few times and that's about all he did. Marie was the only semi-interesting person, but she just came off as a bad girls club wannabe.

I'd hardly consider STT terrible. Average and boring would be a better description.

Agree with all this. And yeah I thought it was weird when Robb was wearing the yellow shoes she brought him. She did something really sweet on her season and surprised him with yellow shoes and he got so excited like a little kid. Then he wears them to the reunion? Why? Well on Robb's audition tape he mentioned that he had a bad reputation with the girls in his town. I suspect he's a heartbreaker and maybe a little playboy, but he's so nice and mild-mannered that he gets away with it a little.
I agree with you on compatibility. Marie even said she wished sometimes that Robb would tell her to ****. She needs a more assertive man and I think Robb felt inadequate being with an alpha female like Marie. It takes a strong man to handle a female like her. lol.
Anyway Robb just said on a podcast that him and Marie are civil now and he thinks she hates him a little less than she did before, but that he wouldn't say they are friends now. He also brought the Emily girl he dumped for Marie on their season to an appearance with Marie. I remember Marie said on Alex's spreecast that he has no boundaries doing something like that, but Robb said that Marie and the girl actually got along. lol.
Anyway I still think the Marie & Robb relationship > Laura and Trey. I didn't care to see Laura and Trey's relationship on their season, but the Marie and Robb thing was interesting. The only intersting thing about their season.

Slightly better than San Diego 2, probably worse than DC. At least DC had Ty and even Andrew and San Diego had Frank, St Thomas just had no one interesting IMO.

I found Latoya and Marie interesting, but fair enough.

Granted I don't watch the seasons but how anyone finds Frank interesting is beyond me.
St Thomas had no real conflict. The only good thing that came from the trailer was Latoya yelling "YOU MAD AT YOSELF" and "I WAS DOWN FOR YOU AT THE END OF THE DAY..!" both of which came from the same episode.
Logically, the casting directors expected so much more drama to happen. They put Trey in the house with two black people because of his racist tweets, which I'm sure he hyped up during his casting interviews. During the audition process, he put on a front of being a racist playboy and once he got into the house, he couldn't keep up the act and his lack of personality came out.

If you watch the season online, you'll see what he means. No necessarily interesting, but everyone else on that season was boring. Frank, as much as I hate the guy, was
"the reason for the season" because he was the one person who actually had a dynamic personality.
Granted I don't watch the seasons but how anyone finds Frank interesting is beyond me.
He has an interesting back story at least. His parents hate him for being gay, and that has to be a reason why he acts so crazy. I don't know I just kind of like watching sociopaths on TV, even though I feel like Frank plays up his character a lot, especially on the challenge.

Okay, I can see where you're coming from--he just annoys the **** out of me. Maybe I should care about his back story but I don't. Maybe he thinks his parents hate him because he's gay but they just hate him because of the way he acts? If my kids grow up and act like that I'm going to be very disappointed in how I performed as a father.

see I liked St Thomas even though it didn't seem like much happened. I could not get through San Diego 2. It was just unbearable for me. DC was pretty boring. Yet I liked even seeing the St Thomas cast do simple little pranks. I think it's because I found Marie to be such an interesting female cast member. She was almost like a typical alpha male in the body of a blonde girl. That was interesting to me. Marie, Robb and LaToya kept me watching. And Brandon was okay. I thought the rest of the cast was so lame. Especially Trey and Swift. If it wasn't for Marie really, I wouldn't like the season.
Weird a couple of weeks ago Marie and Robb were being so sweet to each other on twitter and even Trey was being nice to Marie. Now I get the vibe from twitter that they had another falling out. This cast. lol.
And spinica, the reason why Marie came off so hard on the reunion is because she was really upset that Robb dumped her and dumped her with a TEXT MESSAGE. That had to hurt because she really loved him. I think he loved her too when they were together, but couldn't take looking like her little wuss on national television. Just the feeling I get.
Not only did he dump her with a text message, but he wouldn't return any of her messages/calls. She was completely blindsided and she wanted answers. Furthermore, he was wearing the bracelet she bought him, mocking her with it. Marie wasn't very nice to Robb, but he wasn't very nice either.
There was definitely no love lost between those two, which is unfortunate.

If I wanted to watch a prank show I would have watched impractical jokers or something.

He was just as annoying and crazy on his season as he is on the challenge. If someone didn't like him, he'd say it was because he was gay. No, the reason they don't like you is because you're an overly sensitive, self-involved, psychotic alcoholic. In fact, Ashley really liked one of Frank's boyfriends.

I wouldn't necessarily say that, St. Thomas had conflict but the editors didn't show much of it. Marie pushed one castmember (I believe Swift) off the boat, or tried to, while it was moving which ****** off the other roommates. She also burnt his bible, and as you know if you watched the season, Swift was pretty religious.
It could have been like DC (In the sense that nothing happened all season until Ty almost killed Andrew lol) but they didn't show either big altercations.

She did? Wow. I remember them talking about her and Toya burning some type of book at the reunion but I assumed it is like his "little black book" or something.

She did not burn his bible. She burned his book with all of his phone numbers in it. Her justification was that it was okay because there were barely any numbers in it.
I don't think Swift would be good for the Challenge. He doesn't seem like he is a good athlete and competitor to me. This was probably the best possible team St. Thomas could have had.
